As what he had said, Kim Jae Chul really decided to retire and hand the business over to Jin. After the annual shareholders meeting, just when he's about to leave the meeting room, Jin called him.
"Harabeoji.."
Jin's grandfather was so touched to hear that. He turned back and smiled at Jin and headed home. Before going to work, Jin sent Heeyeon to the Kim's residence with 2 bags of stuff. One belonged to Jin and the other one belongs to Heeyeon. As two of them have just shifted to the Kim residence, Heeyeon has been busy unpacking her stuff.
While unpacking, she came took out the bracelet the The one that her mother asked her to pass it to Jin's mother.
A minute later Mrs. Kim knocked the door and entered the room.
"Heeyeon-ah..."
Heeyeon quickly hide the bracelet behind her.
"Aunty.."
"Still unpacking?"
"I don't have that much stuff, I will be done unpacking soon."
Mrs. Kim walks nearer to her and decided to sit with her and held up her hand.
"Heeyeon, I must really thank you..because you have changed the relationship between Jin and his grandfather. Jin used to be surrounded by many women but he has never been interested in anyone. Glad that he had found his love."
"Aunty.. actually I didn't help much too. They share the same temper; they are concern for each other but just refused to show. Maybe time is the best thing to heal what ever had happened between them." Heeyeon responded genuinely with a smile.
Mrs. Kim smiled back at her.
"After finish unpacking, go come down and have some food Heeyeon-ah..."
Heeyeon nodded her head.
"I will. Thank you."
When Mrs. Kim was about to leave, Heeyeon stood up and sent her out. Who knows the bracelet dropped the moment Heeyeon stood up, Mrs. Kim noticed the necklace and finds it familiar. Seeing the necklace dropped, Heeyeon hurriedly picked it up and hide it.
Mrs. Kim walked towards Heeyeon.
"Heeyeon... is that necklace yours?"
Heeyeon stumbled.
"I.."
"Do you mind showing me?"
Heeyeon knew she can't hide this anymore and had no choice but to show it to Mrs. Kim. Mrs. Kim was so surprised to see that necklace, she thought she would never see it again.

"Heeyeon-ah, is this yours? Do you know the meaning behind this?"
Heeyeon finally nodded her head and looked at Mrs. Kim.
Mrs. Kim was too happy and easy know what it means. She grabbed hold of her hand once again.
"Where are your parents?"
"Appa passed away when I was young, eomma passed away for several months. She handed this and told me to go to Kim residence to look for you, just gave her this bracelet and she will know."
"Did you look for me?"
"I went.. but that was the old address.."
"So what did you do when you can't find us?"
"I rented a small room and started finding jobs. Then a few days later, I received a call from Dongwon Enterprises and that's how I got in there. When my mother handed me the necklace, she didn't say much. She just asked me to return this necklace to you, so I didn't probe further. Until that time you came to office and look for me... that was the time when I know the truth behind this necklace. I guess my mother don't want to see me suffer that's why chose to ask me to look for you after she passed away."
Mrs. Kim shows comfort and hugged her.
"You have suffered a lot my girl. Since you know you are the one why didn't you tell me earlier?"
"I know my own status.. there's a big difference between..."
"That time you were with Jin, why didn't you tell him?"
"Uhh—"
How am I suppose to tell her that we were together that time because of that agreement?
She thought at first then looked at her with a simple response and a smile.
"Aunty... it's all over, isn't it?"
Mrs. Kim smiled back.
"I guess this is fate.. fate brought you to Jin and us..." Mrs. Kim say to her with tears forming in her eyes due to the feeling.
I guess it's really fate that brought us together. From day one...
After Mrs. Kim left the room, she continued to unpack and recalled how Jin and her met.
After she's done, she went downstairs and helped out in the kitchen.

Soon Jin returned home and saw the rest of them watching TV in the living room.

"Eomma.." He looked at his mother then looked at his grandfather.
"Harabeoji..."
All of them were surprised to hear that. That was the first time of so many years.
"Nae adeul (my son)... welcome back by your presence." His mother replied.
Jin smiled and sat next to Heeyeon.
"Thanks to someone."
"Woah daebak! We are finally back together as a family! Not only cous is back also my sis-in-law!" Minha smirked.
"But... according to what I know is... cous,
sis-in-law is sleeping in the room next to mine." Minha continued.
Jin paused for a while, and ponder. Isn't Heeyeon suppose to be sharing room with him?
"What? We moved back then now want us to be separated?"
"You two are not officially married yet. How can you two share a room?"
Jin gave her a glare.
"Jin... I've found your fiancée. The necklace.." His mom added.
Jin turned pale after hearing another issue.
"Huh..?"
"Want to know who is she?" His mom smiled, simply teasing her son.
"Aniyo! (No way!) I don't wish to know.. no matter what Heeyeon will be my wife!" Jin shakes his head in disagreement then holds hands with Heeyeon. Whilst Heeyeon couldn't help but smile.
Mrs. Kim continues to smile to both of them.
"I guess this is really fate... both of you have met way before I found her."
Jin stared at his mother in confusion.
"She's sitting right beside you!" His mom clapped both of her hands.
Jin looked at Heeyeon
"You.."
Looks like I shall have an interrogating session tonight.
Heeyeon just smile back to him and she knows he won't let her off so simply. Late at night, after having his shower Jin went over to Heeyeon's room.. He entered the room without knocking.
"Ahhh waee~ Yah! Cous, why didn't you knock before entering and why aren't you wearing a shirt? Shouldn't be you sleeping right now?" Minha points out at her cousin.
"Yah, Minha-ah this your problem?" Jin pouts.
Minha whispers to Heeyeon.
"You better be careful of that wolf!"
"Kim Minha, repeat that in front of me again?" Jin raised his brows.
"Hmph! Fineee. I don't disturb both of you.. good night and—" She looks both of them and winked. "—enjoy!"
"Good night Minha-ah" Heeyeon greeted back.
Minha suddenly stopped at the door and looked back again at her cousin.
"Don't forget to go back at your room cous!" She told at him and walked out.
After seeing Minha left the room, Jin closed and locked the door behind him before walking towards Heeyeon. Seeing him approaching, Xiaoyu walked over to the window.
Jin started to speak at serious tone.
"You owe me an explanation don't you?"
"What you want to know?" Heeyeon continues to look at the window.
Jin turned her around and looked at her.
"When did you know about it?"
"The day when your mother came to look for me in the office, that was also the day you denied the presence of your fiancée."
Jin stunned by the response.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"What's the point in telling you? Why should I tell you? That time I was just an assistant and based on the agreement I don't have to explain anything to you."
Jin hugged her.
"I guess it's fate that brought us together.. from the first meeting in the hospital, office, till you were being harassed by the loan sharks, entering the agreement and until now. Right from the first meeting, we are destined to be together. Once I have settled the office matters we shall get prepared for our wedding."
"I can't help you in your career nor in anything else.. do you really want to marry me?" Heeyeon suddenly worries as she looks down.
Jin gently placed his hands on her shoulders, wanting her to look at him.
"I don't need you to help me in my career. What I hope is to be able to see you everyday, eat the food you cook and enjoy life just like any other husbands and wives. I just want you to be my side and never leave me. Can you promise me that?"
This time Heeyeon faces forward at him.
"You may regret next time on such decisions.. I don't think—"
"I swear I won't because I love you Heeyeon-ah."
He leaned forward and kissed her lips. Sorry to say on his cousin, he doesn't have the intention of leaving her room tonight at all.

When he gets the opportunity to change all of that, he takes it with both hands. This is a slow burning progression fantasy. Please expect at least two chapters per week. I love writing this story but I do have unfortunate things to deal with like work and life outside of writing. I may be able to write and edit more than that, but it will never be less! This is largely still a draft. I hope to use any comments and reviews in the future. Thanks for reading!
