Mika stood there glaring furiously at her mate who didn't even bother to look up at her.

" I am talking to you Tristan!!" She yelled angrily at the man who was busy looking at some papers.

Or he pretended to look at them just to ignore the girl before him.

Mika felt like scratching off his face right now.

Why the hell is Tristan treating her like this?

Mika had thought that everything would be fine once she removed that Haven from their lives.

She thought she would finally get what rightfully belonged to her but she was completely wrong.

Her relationship with Tristan suffered a huge blow as he hated her more now.

He hated her with pure passion.

After Haven left, Tristan couldn't even stand the sight of her.

He always avoided her, talking to her only if the needs arise.

He never came home, always claiming he was caught up with some work.

The once calm and loving Tristan had now turned a vicious and overbearing Alpha.

He was always angry about one thing or the other.

Mika stood there looking at Tristan, her eyes red with rage.

She had found out Tristan had been sending warriors out to look for that Haven.

How could he do this to her?

"How could you do this to me?" Mika felt completely betrayed.

Tristan still didn't give her the attention she wanted as he kept pretending not to know someone was standing there.

Mika could feel the hot tears forming in her eyes as she glared hard at him.

" It's all because of that Haven right? She asked again.

" You're doing all this because of that bitch right?"

Tristan's eye darkened as he heard this.

Seeing she had stirred up a reaction in him, Mika found the courage to continue with her bickering.

" I heard you've been sending warriors out to look for your lovely Haven?".

" Still no luck?" Mika mocked as she smirked viciously.

Tristan rolled his eyes as he heard this.

" I do hope the bitch is dead where ever the fuck she is!!!" Mika yelled viciously.

Tristan let out a low growl as his eyes turn competely black.

" Shut up!!" He barked angrily at the lady before him.

He couldn't tolerate anyone talking about Haven like that.

He just couldn't.

Tristan had regretted ever listening to what Mika had said.

He hated himself for allowing himself to become so weak in front of her empty threats.

How could he have been so foolish to trade the love of his life for a stupid position?

Tristan had succumbed to power and in the process lost the one person he had truly fell in love with.

But now he'll make it right.

He'll make everything right again.

What was the use of having all this power if you don't have the one you love with you?

" Don't say another word about Haven" Tristan growled at Mika.

" Or else what?!" Yelled an already furious Mika.

" I'll break this stupid mate bond and set you free" His icy cold voice reached her ears making Mika gasp in horror.

The curtains were down , making the whole room dim as Lucious walked in .

He frowned his face, he didn't like the sight of the room at all.

Lucious walked over to the large windows as he pulled the curtains up.

Bright sunlight immediately flooded in to the room, making the whole room come alive.

He raised some more curtains before he finally strolled back to the bed.

He sat down gently beside the rogue girl who still hadn't woken up even after a week.

Lucious caressed her silver hair as he wondered what really happened to the young girl to drain her wolf like that.

He could only imagine how much pain she had to go through to end up like this.

Lucious continued stroking her soft hair gently, an act he suddenly finds himself doing whenever he was with her for the past few days.

Lucious loved the feeling of he soft hair in his hands.

He looked at the rogue girl's face again.

Her pale face now looked much better as the color was slowly returning to her cheeks.

Dayna was doing a good job, thankfully.

" Wake up.." Lucious heard those words leave his mouth before he could stop them.

He sighed.

It really was strange how he felt about this girl.

Lucious didn't want to give himself a headache by thinking about this, so he stood up and walked out of the room.

He needed to freshen up.

Lucious' routine now always started with him waking up in the morning and walking straight to the rogue's room to check up on her.

Everything else would come after that.

He arrived at his room and goes to take a shower.

All done, he dressed up and got ready to go out for the day.

He had to supervise the young shifters training and it was almost time.

Lucious skipped breakfast as he was in a hurry

He postponed all his Alpha duties as he chose to stay in doors with the rogue instead.

Lucious was afraid something might happen to her when he leaves her again, just like last time.

He didn't want to take any chances when it came to her so decided to stay with her instead. But now, he couldn't do that anymore. There were pressing matters that needed his attention.

After checking up on the rogue one last time, Lucious locked the door securely as he exits his apartment.

Pressing the ground floor, he entered the elevator as he waited.

The elevator door opened, letting Lucious step out.

At the same time, Raphael, his beta comes out of the other elevator.

Being the Alpha, Lucious had his own personal elevator. Only he used this while the others could just use the stairs or the second elevator instead.

" Good morning Alpha " Raphael greeted respectfully.

" Good morning Raph" Lucious answered as they both stepped out.

Their relationship had been a bit weird since the incident with Ashley.

Raphael and Lucious hardly talk these days if it wasn't related to work.

Mostly because Lucious was indoors with the rogue girl and doesn't want to be disturbed.

Or maybe it was because Raphael was always reminded of what happened to sister anytime he sees the Alpha.

What ever it was, the two men had a mutual understanding as no one mentioned anything about what happened that night.
