Raphael eyes narrows as he heard his mate words.

Mate?

No.

That's not possible.

No ...it can't be possible..

In fact that is simply impossible.

Raphael shakes his head as he refused to acknowledge this.

There was simply no way a rogue could become the Alpha's fated mate.

He looks at his mate, frowning as he suddenly bursts into laughter.

"That's not possible" He laughed flicking her forehead with his finger causing her to grimace a bit.

Alena hands rubbed her forehead as she frowned.

Her mate was laughing heartily as if she just cracked the biggest joke he's ever heard.

" What's funny?" She asked confused as to why Raphael was suddenly laughing.

" Hey stop laughing. It's not funny. I'm being serious here" She whines as she thinks her mate is not taking her words seriously.

This reaction made Raphael burst into another fit of laughter. He thought she looked really cute as she pulled that face.

Alena growls as she slowly starts getting annoyed. Why in the world is he not taking her words seriously?

Raphael gradually stops laughing as he notices his mate's change of mood. He clears his throat heavily as he sits up carefully . He didn't want to get into her bad books right now.

" How can a rogue be our Alpha's fated mate? That's highly impossible" He said his expression becoming serious.

" And who says it's not possible? " Alena retorted.

"Think about it Raph.. He behaves exactly how any one would if it was his mate in that situation. I really mean it. Okay what would you have done it it was me? What would you do if I was the one on that bed instead of the rogue girl?" She asks calmly as she stares at Raphael.

Raphael's expression suddenly darkens as his eyes turn black.

" Don't say that" Raphael growled as he heard this. He couldn't stand such talks. He won't be able to even think of such. He didn't even want to imagine his mate in that situation. He would have definitely gone berserk and tore down the whole pack by now.

" Exactly" Alena exclaimed as she heard his thought." Yes Raph, that is exactly what I mean. For sure, I do think this rogue girl is indeed the Alpha's fated mate." She concluded.

" Otherwise, how would you explain all these? his recent behavior? Raph you know he yearns for her. You your self told him how he looks at her every time he goes over to see her" Alena said excitedly.

" Just think about it. The rogue girl could actually be the mate we've been waiting for all these years" She exclaimed happily.

She was happy at the possibility of the Alpha finally getting his own mate.

She knew how the Alpha loved his former wife. Who wasn't aware of how he loved and cherished Natasha?

She knows he must be going through alot at the moment, after her disgusting act of betrayal.

Alena grimaced inwardly as she curses that Natasha. She had never actually liked her anyway. She was just too full of herself.

She just wished she had a chance to slap her. She will definitely put her in her place once she gets her hands on her.

Her thoughts flew back to the rogue girl again.

" Raphael, I don't know why but I have a strong feeling that she really is our Luna" Alena finally said as she nods her head.

Raphael stopped laughing as he slowly started to consider his mate's words.

Mate?

Could it be?

Could the rogue girl really be Lucious' mate?

Is that why he has been acting all weird and crazy ever since he found her?

But why doesn't Lucious know if she really is his mate?

He would have scent her or still yet, he must have felt the spark caused by the mate bond by now. He had already carried her quite a lot of times by now so why didn't he feel It?

He should have really felt all these...

Except...

" Oh no..." He suddenly says as he turns to look at Alena as realization slowly dawned on him.

She walked into her room furiously as she bangs the door.

She felt like screaming and clawing something as she felt her whole body shaking.

Ashley's gray eyes roamed around the room and settles on a vase at the small table beside her bed. She walked briskly towards the table as she picked up the vase.

Letting out a small scream, she throws the beautiful vase to the wall.

The vase shattered into a million pieces as it fell to the ground.

Ashley stood there breathing heavily. Her hands were shaking out of anger..no it can't be.

Ashley as the Beta's sister lived with her brother and his wife in their apartment .

The Alpha rightfully occupied the first three floors of the massive pack house for his personal use, the 26th floor was used as the Alpha's office, and the floor after that, the whole of the 25th floor belonged to the Beta. Then the Gamma's floor and other floor housed the pack's dining room, the halls, kitchens and other houses for the rest of the pack members. The ground floor was filled with different cars.

Raphael had brought Ashley to stay with him since she was his only sister. Their parents too, had been killed in a rogue attack years back.

This was one of the main reason Ashley and her brother detested all rogues including the new girl the Alpha had brought with him.

Since the whole floor belonged to Raphael, Ashley had her own personal space. She hardly comes over to her brother's side of the house except when she joins them for breakfast or when they all gather to go eat lunch and dinner at the dining room.

Today, Ashley was on her way to see her brother's pregnant mate.

She too was excited about the fact that she would be an aunty soon and she'll soon have a little nephew or niece to run around the house with.

Alena had asked her to help her in choosing baby names for her pup.

She held the paper containing some of the names she had chosen as she happily walked towards her brother's part of the house.

Ashley had barely entered the living room when she stops.

Raphael voice could be heard discussing something with his mate.

'When did Raph come home? Oh well..we'll all sit and discuss the baby names. ' She thinks happily as she opens her mouth to call for her brother when she suddenly freezes.

'What the hell is Raph saying?'

Her curvy brows furrow as she slowly moved closer , trying to make sure she heard him right.

"How can a rogue be our Alpha's mate? That's not possible" She heard Raphael say.

"Think about it, how can you explain his recent behavior?" Alena's voice said.

Raphael and Alena were too engrossed in their conversation that they didn't notice Ashley standing there.

Ashley stands there as she gives it a thought too.

It could be true..how else would the Alpha's behavior be explained?

Ashley gradually crumbled the piece of paper in her hand as she turned and walked away.

Ashley slowly balled her fists as she stood there visibly shaking in anger.

" I will not spare that filthy rogue..how dare she?"

" No...it's not possible!!! I refuse to believe it!!" She half yelled grabbing her hair.

" No!! No!! Lucious is mine!! He is mine!!" She screamed as she grabbed things and throws them around.

After she's all done, she calmed down a bit and chuckled.

" I will not lose Lucious again..I won't let anyone take him away from me, no matter what I have to do!"Ashley concluded, an evil smirk forming on her face.
