《Deja Vu: The Healer》Chapter 32: Date Night

After a walk around the mall's bookstore and pizza, the leftovers were safely stowed in boxes on the backseat. "Did you want to do a movie then? We could do the romantic comedy or the new MCU?"
My fingers roamed up and down his arm as he held on my knee. I giggled, "no samurai shows out now?"
He laughed. "No, but I guess we could watch a rental?"
"We'll probably have to. All my samurai videos are now boxed up." I winked.
He shook his head playfully.
"There's a video box at the grocery store near my place. I wouldn't mind just getting a rental."
"Sounds great. Where to?"
I guided the way and we stopped in front of the video box.
"What do you feel like watching?" I asked when he opened my door.
"I don't know. Let's go see what they have in stock."
We wandered over and began pushing buttons on the touch screen. I giggled and pointed to one. "How about this? It has romance and monsters?"
He laughed. "That one sounds great."
I frowned a tease as I looked over the description. "Oh darn. Maybe not. No samurais."
He thumbed over my frown with a grin. "Maybe samurai night can be back at home."
"Home," I smiled wistfully. "I'd like that." Still was strange to think William was part of my life now, but the idea sent me swooning.
He gave me a sweet kiss and then checked out the monster movie.
We got back in the car and he looked over with a chuckle. "What are you thinking about?"
I shrugged shyly. "I don't know. I just like the idea of having a home with you?"
"Like you liked the idea of being married to me?" He raised a seductive brow, reminding me of our brunch chat.
I whacked his arm. "Hey! That was no fair Mister. I had no idea what the link was and you used it against me."
He chuckled. "Yeah, I did."
I hit him again and he caught my hand and gave a soft kiss to my knuckle.

"But I was able to see your feelings for me. Of course I was happy to use it. Didn't you like talking to me?"
I pulled my hand away and sat back in my seat folding my arms, giving him feigned anger. "Maybe. But some of what I thought was very personal."
He laughed out loud and started driving back to my complex. "Oh, it was very personal. I was there remember?"
"William!" I sat forward in embarrassment, ready to actually hit him.
"Sweetheart I've already told you, no need to be shy. I enjoyed every minute."
I sat back rolling my eyes but grinning to myself. "Yeah all three minutes," I muttered.
He reached over and caught my hand in his. "Maybe we can enjoy six later." He winked.
"Will," I gave a shameful laugh, my head hitting the back headrest of the seat.
"What? You're beautiful."
It was still so hard for me to wrap my mind around being so close with someone already. And someone that my dad pretty much came out to say he didn't approve of. Really, it sounded like he wouldn't have approved of anyone from Hightop. But the one he did approve of was a self-serving cheating jerk.
But wait.
That night was real! That meant I cheated on him! I was a cheating jerk too.
Oh no.
"Sweetheart?" Will asked worried, teasing air now gone. "Are we going too fast? Do we need to step back? I didn't mean to make you feel like this."
I exhaled and squeezed his hand. "No, it's okay. I'm.... Well, it's just... I guess I'm a cheater."
"What?"
"It wasn't a dream."
"Oh," he nodded. "We're not counting that Love. You didn't know what you were doing, and in any other circumstance you would have realized. It was just the mate pull forcing you to believe what you could so we would be together."
"What do you mean?" I asked perplexed.
"Well," he started delicately, the rain only a slight drizzle now. "Some werewolves believe that the mate pull is not about the couple, it's there to create the best next generation. So to be able to create the next generation the mates need to have ...relations. Maybe your wolf senses took over your logic in whatever way it could find to satiate that need. Most likely you normally would understand it wasn't a dream, but that was a way for you to lose inhibitions, and your wolf side rolled with it." He turned to lock eyes with me. "You even told me that you considered yourself two people at one point, right?"

I nodded gently.
"You're not a cheater Kara. You're a wolf with primal instincts to procreate."
My chest warmed with a splotchy blush and I relented. "I guess that makes sense. Doesn't make me any less embarrassed, but I'm glad I won't just go sleep walking into some random guy's room."
He was looking back to the road, but his brow came down in a scowl. "You will not be doing that. I assure you."
I giggled. "Okay so no randoms, but I only know like two other people there."
He nearly hit the brakes and looked over me with a horrified air. "Kara!"
I winked, ready to tease him now. "Oh come on you can share me for ...six minutes."
He exhaled a groan and went back to driving. "Kara." He chuckled. "I want you to remember that werewolves are very possessive. I will not be sharing. Ever."
And I realized I didn't want to share either. The thought of him even kissing someone's hand almost sent me in a panic.
He pulled into my building's underground parking garage and drove around to my spot.
I held up the movie. "Ready for some romantic monsters? Maybe there's even a werewolf?"
He smirked and leaned over for a quick kiss. "It's more like alien monsters, but yes. Let's go see if there is a werewolf."
I giggled and waited for him to come around to my side of the car and let me out. "Do you think we can fit all the boxes in my car?"
He looked the car over and reached in the back for the pizzas. "Yeah, of course. Didn't you play Tetris as a kid? I was a master." He kicked the door closed.
"I played a bit." I snickered as we walked. "But I'll allow you to woo me with your Master Tetris Skillz tomorrow."
"Be prepared to be amazed," he grinned, hitting the up arrow on the elevator.
"Oh, I will be baby."
He chuckled, then guided me in the doors. When they closed, I turned to him with a sly grin.
"What's that look?" He asked.
"Just somethin' I always wanted to do."
"What's that?"
And I attacked him, lips first.
When his shock wore off, I heard a thump as pizza boxes were tossed and then he quickly met my rhythm, even lifting me against the wall, kissing hard. My hands scurried into his hair, pulling him deeply to me.
But much too soon, my floor beeped and the door opened to a shocked elderly Mrs. Amberly. Her greying hair nearly whitened seeing a disheveled William set me back to the floor.
"Sorry Mrs. Amberly!" I giggled sheepishly and Will bent to grab the fallen pizza boxes. I quickly grabbed his arm escorting him to my place. Mrs. Amberly's broad eyes followed our retreat. "It's okay!" I swiveled back. "We're married!"
Her shock widened. It didn't matter. I wouldn't see her again after tomorrow.
We sprinted down the hallway to my door and I keyed the lock.
I closed the door after us, locking the deadbolt when I was suddenly twisted around and pressed back against the door, hard lips on mine. My mouth turned to a grin against his lips and he took that small break to pepper kisses across my jaw.
He then lifted my legs around him and carried me, collapsing down to the couch.
I lifted his shirt over his head and as I took in his brawny abs, I spoke in raspy purr. "This turned out way better than I fantasized."
He grinned, leaning back down to kiss me again.

"No!" He yelled, making me jump back a bit. "I am the Alpha of Phoenix Moon! I am not a victim! I am fine.""Atlas, listen to me." I wept. I went to approach him but he turned away from me. "This does not make you any less of an alpha, man, or mate because you are traumatized. You are allowed to not be okay, especially when it comes to this." He scoffed, still not facing me. "How could you possibly think that?" I put my shaking palms on his back, feeling him relax against them. "Because I still want you all of you and love you all of you like I did a few hours ago." I whispered into his shirt. He nearly knocked me over when moved his body to face me. "What?" His face was so broken and held honest shock. "This is so wrong ..." Emma breathed out against his lips when he pinned her up against the wall."Is it?" Alexander echoed, slipping his hands underneath her large sweater, grazing her lips."She's my friend ..." Emma argued weakly, albeit unwilling to push him off."Don't think about it." He merely replied, starting to nibble on her neck.As his lips nipped down on her sensitive skin, Emma let out a breathless moan and wrapped her arms around his shoulders, so that he could hook her legs around his torso, effectively seizing her in his arms. The walk to his bedroom was short, and before she could say anything, she found herself on his bed, him hovering over her. His every touch was inebriating, the way his lips knew exactly where to go in order for her to lose sight of her moral duties, the way his hands skillfully caressed every inch of her skin, as if savoring it in advance, was driving her insane. And when she met his fiery gaze, Emma knew she was doomed. She had no chance but to surrender to this devil that was tempting her, pushing her towards something that - she was well aware - would be difficult to give up on once set in motion.
