《Behind Closed Doors》These Damn People! 🤬

Naruko POV.
Sigh... today we would be starting our d-ranked missions. Honestly I wasn't looking forward to it, because I just know these people will give me an unnecessarily hard time!
We'd stopped by the Hokage's office quite early in the morning and he greeted us with his grandpa like charm and I really wish I could just give him a hug or something but I settled for receiving a pay on the head.
He assigned us our first mission and we were immediately sent out and replaced by another group.
I really didn't want to do these missions, but I wasn't gonna be some type of Sakura and complain. Well out loud at least. I just didn't get how these people processed thoughts. What makes you think the way you do to act how you do. I'd really like to know so I could try and understand why I've been duped by so many people.
Maybe they'll even scam me out of some of my precious money...ugh! Do they think I'm some fuckin' fool? Ill spite them with all my rage I swear to kami up above. Not to mention these villagers were sick fucks, I didn't trust any of them.
I don't give a damn if your a grandma, you don't have my trust and I'll still curb stomp a bitch no matter what.
"Alright team lets get moving!" The overly cheery voice of the leader spoke.
"Uh... what was your name again?"
He looked at me like I was stupid. I just rose an eyebrow.
"Kakashi."
"Oh yeah, ok Kakashi lead the way!"
His eye twitched at my lack of honorifics and I could sense the upcoming Sakura lecture.
He just sighed an walked away.
Before the other girl could even open he mouth I was skipping after him.

Sasuke blinked, and he honestly just looked really confused.
"So kakashi... you gonna be helping us? Or are you just going to read your sex fantasy book like usual."
His eyes widened and he looked at me with the most exaggerated features I couldn't help but laugh.
-
"Alright everyone we made it to our first mission. It's tending to the garden for this nice lady."
She didn't look very nice, standing like bigfoot with a hunchback and a pig-like face as she sneered at us. I mean she wasn't ugly, but she let out an aura that made me see her as some kinda failed experiment.
Anyway, I was sure something was up... just gotta figure out what.
We walked in the place smelt like actual doodoo.
"YALL it stinks like shit in here."
"Naruko they use manure as fertilizer, it's common knowledge." Sakura just had to voice her thoughts.
"The only reason you know that is because it's probably what was in the soil you grew from Sakura."
She made some noise and turned on her heel to her part of the garden.
Besides that we got the seeds and stuff we were supposed to plant. I'm sure I was doing everything right but this bitch kept giving me looks.
"You got somethin' to say?"
She just started stomping her gorilla feet over to me and eventually grabbed the packet of seeds in my hands.
"These seeds are supposed to be planted in the fall! Does it look like fall?!"
"How was I supposed to know?!"
She just scoffed.
"No! Seriously! You gave me the damn seeds, and clearly since you've been up my ass this entire time staring at me you must've realized I was planting the wrong ones. Actually are they even the wrong ones?"

I looked over and snatched Sasuke's seeds right out of his grubby hands. They were the exact same package and all.
I was sputtering at this lady and her face lit up red when kakashi started walking over to her.
"Heheheh..."
I walked away and quickly planted the rest so I could go back over and snoop on them.
Sigh... I was just a bit to late. Kakashi had already walked away and the lady was standing there looking rightfully ashamed.
I looked her dead in the eye and gave her my best smirk, but from Kurama's laughing I must've not done that well.
"You fox... just you wait! Just you and your mangled fur wait... I won't forgive or forget all you've done." I said punching my gut even though I know it doesn't do anything to him.
Only makes me look... more... stupid. Oh screw this I'm going back home.
I tried to walk out again, but was stopped by Kakashi who gave me that same look that says "are you stupid"
"No im not stupid! Every last one of y'all are so rude for no reason. Who hurt y'all, and it sure as hell wasn't me."
Kakashi just let out his signature sigh and made me stand next to him until we would get paid.
-
Finally the lady handed out our payments and I was surprised to see the same amount as everyone else land in my hands.
I smiled and pocketed the money before Kakashi turned us all around and lead us out of the house.
"Alright. We're gonna have to do quite a few of these before we can do our first C rank mission. Get ready for loads of fun."
We couldn't see it, but I could imagine a sly smirk behind that mask.
"How many counts as quite a few?" Sakura asked.
"Maybe you lot will only need about one hundred."
You've gotta be kidding me.

And then, all but one is destroyed with a single roll of a twenty-sided die. The die becomes the true author while the writer just provides possibilities then takes a backseat and narrates. A Fate Set in Stone (On Hold)
After dying and making his way into the afterlife, our protagonist happens to have a stroke of good luck. With the help of the substitute god of death, he's given a second shot at life in a world run by gods who probably played too many video games as kids. Monsters, magic, dungeons, bandits, and all that good stuff is there, except it turns out to be much different than Jed initially expected.(I picked some generic tags since this is my first story and I am not 100% sure where it is going to go. Mature warning is only there for some less-than-polite language.)
