It was my first day at Jessie High School.

My name is (F/N) (L/N), and I am 17 years old. I had to switch schools due to my family deciding to move to Australia because of their new jobs. Which sucked because I had to leave my friends behind... It's hard being a new kid in school. Especially in High School. For me, being a new kid back in Elementary and Middle school were quite easy considering we really didn't care about anything. But being a new kid in High School, well now... that's a different story.

I sigh as I stepped in the grounds of the school only to be pushed by a kid who was trying to catch a football. I let myself fall backwards as I wait for the painful impact that was coming my way. Instead of feeling pain I felt someone grab my wrist helping me balance myself so I wouldn't fall.

"Hey are you okay...?" That sounded like a guy's voice.. But then again, I can't really assume their gender. "Hello..?" the voice talks once again. I stood up properly before facing in front of my "savior". "Uhh..uh.. Yeah yeah, Thanks for helping me... not fall..? was that even correct..?" I mumbled the last part. He chuckles "Yeah, your welcome. My name's (C/N). Are you new here?" he tilts his head slightly to the left. "Yeah , actually hehe.." a slight blush runs across my cheeks as I scratch my right cheek shyly. "Well come on then" he extends his left hand in front of me "Let me show you around before class starts, but oh! before that, may I see your schedule?" he take his hand back.

"Yeah, sure" I rummage through the left pocket of my (F/C) sweater looking for my folded schedule before I handed it to him. "huh, will you look at that? you have the same homeroom as me! oh and we have the last 3 periods together after Lunch! That's so cool" You both smile at each other before walking into the building.

I was walking around the school trying not to get lost during lunch looking around for (C/N). "I wonder where he is...?" Suddenly I felt someone cover my eyes from the behind. Thanks to my quick reflexes, I went down and kicked the stranger's legs making them fall down to their butt. "Well.. damnn.. Ouch... you have very quick reflexes. Remind me to never ever surprise or scare you again" wait. Hold UP JUST A MINUTE, that voice sounded familiar. I turn around with wide eyes as I look down at (C/N) "Oh my goodness (C/N)! I'm so sorry! I thought it was some random person trying to kidnap me or something" I kept apologizing as I helped him up. "In school?" he chuckles "well.. you never know don't judge me" I puff my cheeks out as I look slightly down hiding myself from embarrassment. "You're so cute (Y/N)! come on let's go eat lunch before class starts!" he ruffles as I blush "Don't just suddenly call me c-cute out of no where!" I stuttered as he laughs "I don't know what you're talking about TOMATO!" he runs away "HEY! come back here!" I yell as I chased after him ignoring the looks some people were giving us.

(C/N) and I have gotten closer throughout the school year. I would be lying if I say I didn't have feeling for him. What's not to like about him? His hair... His eyes.. His smile, it's absolutely gorgeous. But what really matters the most is his bubbly, Calm, Understanding, etc. personality. We also have a lot in common, which makes it hard for me to actually not gain any romantic feelings towards him. I sighed as continued reading my book. 'Just 30 more minutes till school is over' I thought in my head. We have a sub so we pretty much had a free period today. "Hey (Y/N)" I looked up from my book just to see HIM. I hint of blush runs across my face as I covered it up by clearing my throat "Hey (C/N)" I greet him with a smile. This time it was his turn to blush. Before she even saw him blushing he turned around to cover his face. "Is there something wrong..?" She questions the blushing male. 'Being that cute should be illegal' He thought before clearing his throat as he faces back to you. "Nothing's wrong, don't worry" he ruffles my hair as I playfully glare at hi with my cheeks puffed out. He giggles as he takes his hand back.

"You wanna get ice cream later? I'll pay this time" both my eyes sparkle as I nodded. All of a sudden the bell rings telling everyone that school is over. Wow, time is fast. Both He and I walked out of the classroom to go the ice cream shop. As soon as we arrived there, we bought the ice creams and headed out. "Thanks (C/N)!" I thanked him as he nods his head smiling at me "So where are we going?" I ask him "to the park, I mean it's not that late yet, and it's been a while since we actually hung out there. School's over now anyways so we don't really have to worry about getting up so early anymore."

"THANK GOODNESS!" we both shouted as we raised our hands up slowly so our ice creams wouldn't fall. We looked at each other as we laugh.

As soon as we arrived at the park, which was empty by the way, we sat down the swings next to each other as we continue to eat our ice creams while admiring the sunset. After joking around for a good 30 minutes, it was suddenly dead silent. I hate the awkward silence.

"I have something to tell you" we both shout breaking the awkward silence.

"you go first! NO you! no you!" we both stayed quiet before laughing at each other.

"Fine, we'll say it at the same time" (C/N) suggest as we both nodded in agreement

We both took a deep breath and then...

"I LIKE YOU (Y/N)/(C/N)" we both looked at each other blushing for 2 minutes before laughing in order to break the awkward tension. He extended his arm out as I extended mines placing it on top of his hand before closing it. This wasn't the first time we held hands though. We both stood up, still holding hands, leaving the park as a couple..

Like I said, my friends kind of helped me with the plot since I had no ideas xD .
