Giana POV-

Raven has been trying to take over, for some reason I am more demon than wolf. Raven and I aren't always on good terms. She causes me to do bad things, like really bad things. I've killed people and they say I'm manic but honestly, it's because I have no mate, my wolf is sad, and Raven even though she doesn't like to admit it is too. Lei assumed we would have a mate like everyone else. However, demons don't have mates or beloves, etc. they just pick someone. Dad's Lycan side and mom's wolf are in fact mates and his demon side picked her as well. That doesn't always happen, it was rare. Raven and Lei are in a constant battle for power. Lei may be weaker, but she has Alpha blood, she believes we haven't met our mate due to Raven being the more dominant side. At this point, Raven and I believe her. This is why I want to travel the world; I want to go to the underworld and train for a while but I'm pretty sure dad, Vincenzo, and Matteo won't let me. Mom is really supportive of my decisions, but I think she feels bad for me. Thankfully I won't have to worry about going insane so that's a plus, just alone with my thoughts.

The party is in full swing, Vince looks so happy following behind Liam, Rowan hasn't let Stefano out of his sight and Enzo and Ayako have taken off again probably to hump. She said now that they mated their bond just feels amazing. The vamps are finally here, just waiting on dads' men to come from the underworld so the party can start. Vincenzo also announced that he and Rowan felt it would be best if Stefano was not Liam's protector. They feel both boys should be watched over. Stefano was pissed because well he's a warrior after all but one look from Rowan and something whispered in his ear and his face went red and he just nodded and left the subject alone, Liam just accepted it as Omegas tend to do. I started shaking uncontrollably which means demons have crossed our bounders. Surprisedly it was Raven who was pacing like a mad woman, she said something was wrong and we should go outside. Demon Zepar-

We've been invited by King Carlo to a party for the twins. It was such an honor to be allowed into his and Vincenzo's land and let out of the underworld. We demons don't leave that often and only when we do it's the higher-ranking ones that are a part of Alpha Matteo's pack the Royal Pack that leave. We are here because Alpha King Vincenzo wants us to help with the pack his mate is from. We are to integrate with them and be at peace. Which is fine by us, demons don't get mates, but we do get lonely and after excessive training 10 of us were selected to come to the human realm and be protectors, my best friend Quinn is here as well. My dad is too old and felt I would be able to enjoy life better and stay out of trouble. He is hoping I find someone special and settle down. My dad is Carlo's third in command I would take over, but this is a much better deal. I get to travel the world as Carlo said we don't have to stay in the pack but make sure we come to our assigned border patrol. Today we are going to the castle to just get to know everyone and relax. When we finally arrived, I felt funny I don't know if it was the air or my nerves. My demon was aching to come out which is odd because he never does this.

Before I could enter the castle grounds, I was pounced on by someone. A girl, with dark hair and eyes, smells like honey. WTF is wrong with this bitch. Before I could ask her, she said a word I honestly didn't think I would hear this fast. "MATE". How is this possible demons don't have mates, so who is this girl?

Carlo POV-

I saw Giana take off outside as fast as she could. What is up with this girl, I didn't need to shift because I barely made it outside when I realized what was happening. Giana found her mate, Zepar is a fine young man, she'll have to teach him the way of this world but that's ok. He is in for a very rude awakening and an empty bank account. I must call Zeus and tell him his suspicion was correct. Let's just see how this pans out.

Giana POV-

Here he was in the flash, my mate. It shocked me and Lei when Raven took over and jumped on him, we weren't trying to be rough, just not wanting him to get away. He looks familiar like dads third in command Zeus, this must be his son, Zion, Zayn, no what is it?

"Zane," said Raven

"I think that's right," said Lei.

G- "Hey sorry about that my demon side took over and well she got carried away"

Giana screamed as she was happy to have this, Zepar was also happy, he didn't know much about mates but Giana being in his arms made him feel important. He felt like protecting her with his life. This must be what love is.
