Wendy, Bill, and Will, were currently standing in the center of the forest.

"Red, I'm starting to get tired of this," Bill grumbled.

"This is the last time, I promise," Wendy told them.

"Um, so when are your friends showing up?" Will asked. "You said they'll be joining us?"

Just then, the three heard a loud caw above. They looked up, to see a huge bird with purple tail feathers.

"Looks like they're here," Wendy smiled, then called to the bird. "Tambry! Over here!"

The bird immediately landed, turning into a teenage girl. "Hey," She said, pulling out her phone.

In the nearby bushes, Thompson crawled out, along with Lee and Nate.

Thompson approached them eagerly. "Hey--" Then, he tripped, and fell on his face. "Ow..."

Lee bent down and patted his head. "Don't worry, Thompson, you don't have any dignity left to lose."

"Yay..."

"Waddup, Wendy," Nate greeted, giving the redhead a high five.

Wendy looked around. "Where's Robbie? I asked him to come too."

"He couldn't make it," Nate explained. "He said he was busy. Whatever that meant."

"Huh, since Leather Pants isn't here, this might be tolerable," Bill said.

"So, what are we doing here, Wendy?" Tambry asked, without looking up from her phone.

Wendy cleared her throat. "We're here to catch the elusive monster: the Mudborn. It's said to be located in this part of the forest, and the Cipher twins are gonna help us lure it out, so we can attack."

"This is a very, very bad idea," Bill remarked.

"Less complaining, more baiting!" Wendy told him, then beckoned them deeper into the woods.

After a while, they arrived at a spot beside a stream of water, and they hid behind a large bush. There was silence, and they looked around.

"So, Red," Bill started. "What exactly does this Mudborn look like?"

A moment later, he had answer. As a deep growl echoed throughout the forest, and a giant shape slowly came into view. The twins stared in shock, at the monster before them. It was completely made of mud, dirt, and an assortment of twigs. It had no eyes, but had a gaping mouth, relieving rows of pointed stones with sharp tips.

It emitted another low growl, it's four feet making squelching noises as it walked. It gurgled, dripping mud everywhere, while the brothers watched.

"Nope," Bill said, turning away. "Will, we're leaving."

"Yep," Will agreed.

But, unfortunately, Wendy blocked their path. "Guys, please," She begged.

"There's no way, we're facing that thing," Bill snapped.

"It's easy, I swear," Wendy insisted. "All you have to do, is stand in front of our hiding place, and lure the monster towards us."

"If we die today, you're banned from our funeral," Bill told her.

"I'll probably threaten to jump in the grave with you."

"Seems like something you'd do," The blond sighed, then tugged on Will's sleeve. "C'mon, let's get it's attention."

Will made a terrified look. "But--"

Before he could protest, Bill dragged him out of the safety of the bush, along with himself. The Mudborn had it's back turned to them, and Bill put two fingers in his mouth and blew a sharp whistle. Will squeaked, when the monster turned it's attention on them.

"Hey, ugly!" Bill yelled. "Look at this!" Then, he blew a raspberry.

The monster roared in outrage, and charged at them. The ground shook beneath them, and when the Mudborn neared, the Cipher twins ran out of the way. On that moment, Wendy launched out, along with her friends, whom had taken the forms of animals.

At the sidelines, the twins watched as the group attacked the monster at all sides. Wendy was currently swiping at the struggling beast with her axe.

"Don't worry, you two!" She called to them. "Everything's going to be--"

She was interrupted, when the Mudborn grabbed her axe, and swallowed it whole. Wendy stared at her empty hands. "Oh..."

The monster roared, and swiped it's paw at her. Wendy was slammed across the floor, and looked slightly dazed after that. Then, things only gotten worse, as Nate, in his buck form, got his front legs stuck in the gooey mass of the monster. Lee noticed his friend's distress, and helped him by locking his strong jaws on Nate's antlers and pulling. Eventually, Nate was freed, and the rest of the group decided to retreat.

They ran to the safety behind a tree, while the Mudborn whirled around blindly. Wendy looked like she was having a strong headache, but then Will put a comforting hand on her arm, and suddenly she looked much better.

"What now?" Bill snapped.

"I don't really know," Wendy admitted.

Meanwhile, the rest of the group turned back into humans. The first thing Lee did, was embrace Nate.

"Plunging your legs inside it, could you be anymore stupid?" Lee sniped. "I'm glad you're okay, though."

"Of course, I'm okay," Nate said, then added. "Also, there's a point where this hug becomes awkward..."

Lee instantly withdrew, turning pink. "Sorry."

Thompson went up to Wendy nervously. "What are we gonna do now?"

Wendy sighed. "Anything we throw at it, will just be absorbed. How do we even fight earth itself?"

"With water."

The redhead blinked, turning to Bill. "What?"

Bill didn't respond, instead pointing from behind the tree. Wendy looked, and saw the stream, that was a short distance away from where the Mudborn stood.

"Bill, you're a genius!" Wendy beamed, then addressed the rest of the group. "We'll force it into the stream, and maybe it will evaporate."

"It's our best shot," Nate agreed, and so did everyone else.

"OK, listen carefully," Wendy told them, before gathering them closely and explaining the plan.

Some time had passed, and the Mudborn was still where it was. That was, until a battle cry caught it's attention. It squealed, when a form jumped onto it's neck, and it was non other than Bill Cipher.

"Yeehaw!" Bill cheered, as it struggled to get him off. "Try to shake me off, you mutated dustbunny! I am the god of destruction and malice--GAH!" He was cut off, when the beast absorbed him into it's body.

"Bill!" Will screamed.

"I told him not to touch it!" Wendy spat. "C'mon, let's save your brother!"

Wendy and Will charged at the Mudborn, along with the rest of the group behind them. The monster roared in distress, as it was forced backwards. They dodged, as it swiped it's paw at them, then Wendy lunged at it. She grabbed it by it's stone teeth, and began to shove it backwards. Eventually, her strength pulled off, and the Mudborn ended up falling into the stream.

It shrieked in agony, as it's body melted away in the flowing water, until there was nothing left. Once the muck cleared away, Bill sat in the middle of the stream, holding Wendy's axe and something else close to his chest.

"Bill, you're okay!" Will exclaimed, relieved.

Bill stood up, and walked away from the stream. He handed over the axe to Wendy, while the other thing was still in his grip. It appeared to be a furry brown ball.

"Bill, what's that?" Wendy asked.

Bill held it out. "It seems to be the mighty Mudborn."

The group stared in shock, when seeing the form struggling in the blond's grip. It was a gopher.

"Fools!" It shrieked. "How dare you tear down the creation of the Gopher King! Unhand me, you aboveground peasants!"

Wendy rolled her eyes. "Ugh, it's a gopher mage," She said, tiredly. "These guys are always a menace."

"Release me, or I'll be force to chew on the earthworms you call appendages!" The gopher yelled, then nibbled on Bill's fingers. "Nom nom nom...FREEDOM IS MINE...Nom nom nom."

"He's so cute and tiny!" Thompson cooed.

"We should call him Nibbles," Nate said.

"Desist your sounds of idiocy!" The creature shouted. "Soon, the earth will swallow your pathetic hick town, and the creatures of the dark will feel the warm embrace of the sun once more--"

Tambry snapped a photo of him. "Totally tweeting this," She said, tapping at her phone.

The gopher screamed dramatically. "MY EYES! My dimple sized eyes!"

"Well, that's done," Wendy said, smiling at the twins. "Thanks for everything, guys."

"No problem," Bill said. "Good thing, this is the last time you'll use us as bait."

"Actually...I had my fingers crossed."

"YOU--"

Present Day.

"So, what happened to Nibbles?" Mabel asked.

"We took turns babysitting him," Wendy explained. "You know, feeding him and all that stuff."

"Wasn't it suppose to be your turn to feed him?" Will asked.

Wendy creased her brow, then her eyes widened. "Oops..."

"OK, putting that aside," Bill said. "It's time I told a story, it's called Bill Rules The Entire World, where I laugh manically and properly stand on a mountain of bones."

"Definitely not," Dipper told him.

"You don't let me have any fun, Pine Tree."

"Well, I'm gonna tell a non-terrible story," Mabel declared, then started telling it.
