Dipper and Bill ran as fast as they could, while a psychotic kid pursued them. Gideon threw objects at them, and they dodged every attack he pulled on them, but it wouldn't last forever.

"We have to find Mabel and Wendy!" Dipper shouted, urgently.

Bill nodded in agreement, and stopped in his tracks. He turned, and caught a lamp Gideon had thrown, and threw it back at the young psychic. It him in the forehead, and Gideon fell down in a heap. Once the boy was disoriented, Bill swiped the flashlight back from him, and followed Dipper down the hall.

They checked every room, until they finally reached their destination. They found Wendy and Mabel sprawled in a hamster cage, and the two looked at them in shock.

"Mabel! Wendy!" Dipper exclaimed, in relief.

"Don't worry, we'll get you two out of here," Bill reassured.

Wendy shook her head. "No, you have to leave!"

The two stared in confusion. Then, they jolted when a voice spoke behind them. "Wow, isn't this a pleasant surprise?"

They turned, seeing Kill come out of the shadows. Just then, Gideon arrived in the room.

"Thank god, you're here," He said, to Kill. "Help me subdue Bill--"

Kill swiped his hand in Gideon's direction, and the boy immediately collapsed, unconscious. "Hopefully, he'll forget everything once he wakes up," The Demon sneered.

Dipper hesitated, before stepping in front of Bill defensively. "Stay back," He warned.

The Red Demon's shoulders rocked, as laughter rippled through his body. "Still think you can take me on? You are cute, indeed."

Kill took a step forward, making Dipper tense up. Then, the Red Demon peered behind the Guardian, so he was looking at Bill.

"Can we talk, Brother?" He asked.

Bill growled. "I'm not your brother."

"That's just your weak form talking," Kill insisted. "But soon, you'll be the most powerful Demon again."

"Then what, I hurt people?"

"That's the plan, yes."

"Don't listen to him, Bill!" Mabel screamed, from inside the cage.

"Say another word, then you're cat food!" Kill yelled at her.

"Still better than seeing your big ugly face!" She shot back, then stuck her tongue out.

Kill rolled his eyes, then turned back to Bill. "C'mon, imagine the world in your palms. We'll finally be able to accomplish our dream, to forge a place where we're finally accepted. Don't you want that?"

Bill had no idea what he was saying. Kill drew closer, which was when the blond finally saw it. A thin chain hung around Kill's neck, and on it were the tiny versions of Dipper and Wendy's weapons. Instantly, an idea formed in his head.

"You know, Kill...you have a point."

Dipper regarded him in horror, when Bill stepped forward towards the Red Demon. Kill grinned widely.

"You really mean that, Bill?"

"Of course," Bill smiled. "Just tell me what to do, then we'll rule this world."

"What are you doing?" Dipper demanded, but was ignored.

Kill's eyes glinted in triumph. "You won't regret this, Brother."

Bill nodded in return. "Oh, I'll definitely won't regret this." Then, he pointed the flashlight at Kill's necklace.

The Demon stared, when a blue light landed on the weapons, and they grew rapidly. The objects snapped off the chain, and dropped to the floor with a heavy thud. Dipper instantly grabbed his weapon. Then, he charged at Kill, causing the blade to skewer through the Demon's chest and pin him against a wall.

All was silent, except for Dipper's heavy breathing, and the steady dripping of Kill's blood. Bill stood in shock, as he stared at the motionless Demon, who had a sword embedded in the center of his chest.

He has to be dead, Bill thought.

However, luck was not on his side, as soft laughter escaped Kill's slightly parted mouth.

"Oh, Blue Pine..." He chuckled, facing Dipper with an inhuman smile. "That tickled."

Dipper's eyes widened, as Kill grabbed the sword's hilt. He easily pulled out the weapon, and threw it aside. Then, before the brunette could escape, Kill lunged forward and shoved him to the floor. Dipper struggled effortlessly, as Kill pinned him on his back.

"Dipper!" Mabel screamed. She was tugging at the bars, with Wendy joining her.

Dipper cried out, when Kill leaned down and sank his fangs in his neck. Bill yelled in protest, then darted his eyes around in search for something that could help the Guardian. He then spotted Wendy's axe, and knew what he had to do...

Bill grabbed it, rose it in the air, then swung in the direction of Kill's midsection. The blade hit him directly in the stomach, and the Demon screamed in agony. He pulled back from Dipper, and stumbled to his feet. Kill yanked the weapon out, which might've been a mistake on his part.

Bill almost grew sick, when Kill's internal organs spewed out of the newly slashed hole in his stomach. It cluttered to the ground in ropes, and Kill gurgled, choking on his own blood. The Demon pressed against the wall, he gave them one last red stained smile, before vanishing in a cloud of red smoke.

Bill waited for a while, before making a dash towards the cage. He unlocked it, and the two Guardians climbed out. He used the flashlight, and they were finally back to normal.

"Is Dipper alright?" Mabel asked, in concern.

With that, Bill turned towards the male Guardian, who was knelt down on the floor. He moved closer to him, and winced upon seeing a bloody bitemark on Dipper's neck, edged with bruising.

"Pine Tree, are you okay--"

Bill paused abruptly, when he heard Dipper sniff softly. He stared, as the rims of the Guardian's eyes started tearing up. "Hey..."

"I'm okay," Dipper said, quickly. He wiped his eyes dry, and stood up.

Bill regarded him in concern, but decided on to push it. It was clear that Dipper wanted to forget what had just occurred. Bill wanted to forget, as well.

"Nice shot, Bill," Wendy congratulated, picking up her axe. "I kinda wished I was the one to do that to Kill."

"Please, tell me that killed him," Bill said.

"I doubt it," Dipper muttered. "I know Kill, he's too stubborn to go down that easy."

Bill sighed, then Wendy placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "We should find Will."

The blond nodded in agreement, and turned to the exit. Gideon was still unconscious, and Bill had an urge to kick him, but he fought it. With that, the group left the blood stained room.

"COME BACK HERE, COWARD!"

Will sprinted through the forest, feeling he would faint at any moment. Behind him, Jill was not far, trying to attack him with columns of fire streaming from her palms.

He managed to dodge another strike from her, but unfortunately, it struck a tree near him. The bark exploded, and sent hot splinters of wood directly into Will's face. He dropped to the ground, as the pain returned.

Instantly, a shadow loomed over him, and he looked up to see Jill's face. He nearly cried out, when she placed a hand on his bleeding wound.

"Finally, I got you," She hissed, then raised her other hand, which already ignited a flame.

"Get away from him!"

Jill blinked at the new voice, and was then pulled off Will. It was soon revealed to be Wendy grabbing the Demon, and the blue haired boy watched as she tossed Jill to the ground at her feet. Nearby, Will saw the rest of the group approaching them.

"You were supposed to be banished!" Wendy growled, pulling out her axe. "Now, you'll suffer the consequences."

Jill's eyes widened in horror, as the axe was raised above her head. With a yell, Wendy brought it down...but stopped midway.

The redhead gaped in shock. "Will, what are you doing?"

Before the axe could make it's mark, the blue haired boy flung himself over Jill, shielding her. The rest of the group took this in with surprise, and so did Jill herself.

"Will, get out of the way!" Bill snapped.

Will shook his head. "Please," He rasped, eyes pleading. "Please don't hurt my sister..."

Wendy lowered her axe, looking at him in confusion. A heavy silence hung over them, but was broken by Jill's shriek of fury. She shoved Will away, then was encased in golden flames. When the flames distinguished, she was gone.

Bill immediately knelt before his brother, frowning at the cuts in Will's face. "Why did you do that?"

Will regarded him in confusion. "What?"

"You jumped in to protect that monster, and you called her sister!"

The blue haired boy stared. "I did that?"

"Of course, you did..." Bill trailed off, his frown deepened. "You didn't realize you were doing it?"

"I...I.." Will grew quiet.

Bill looked at him in concern. "It doesn't matter now," He reassured.

His brother smiled softly at him, but something grim flashed through his eyes. After a while, the group strolled through the forest in the direction of the shack. The Cipher brothers were walking in the back, not speaking a word to each other. Bill finally mustered up the courage to break the silence.

"Will, I'm--"

"I'm sorry."

Bill stared at him. "Why are you apologizing?"

"Because I lied to you," Will said, guiltily. "I wasn't thinking about how dangerous the situation I was getting myself in. I'm gonna call off my lessons with Robbie tomorrow."

"You don't have to do that," Bill said, softly.

"Yes, I do," He replied, seriously.

"In that case, I'm sorry too," The blond sighed. "I knew this was a big reveal for you, and it was insensitive of me to force you to hide it."

Will smiled at him sadly. "It's alright, you were only trying to protect me."

"Still, I should've thought about what you wanted," Bill pointed out. "From now on, I'll help you with your powers."

"I appreciate that," Will said. "I'm already quite good at healing, I just need a ton of practice."

"Practice, you say?" Bill smiled, having an idea. "Maybe, you can do something for me?"

He leaned in and whispered in Will's ear. Once Bill pulled back, his brother nodded. "Alright, I'll try."

Bill watched, when Will walked to the front of the group. The blue haired boy reached out, and touched Dipper's arm.

"Will, what's wrong?" The Guardian asked, turning to him.

"Nothing," Will said, withdrawing his hand. "I thought there was a ladybug on your sleeve. False alarm."

Will quickly retreated to the back, beside Bill again. Bill smiled, when he saw the bitemark on Dipper's neck fade away slightly, then tossed Will a grateful look. Will returned his smile, and they continued to walk in a comfortable silence.

She suspected Kill got reckless again.

Her brother was sprawled before her, blood and guts covering him. He was breathing raggedly, while his eyes screwed shut. Jill shook her head, then held up her hand. It was covered in blood, Will's blood.

She used her powers, and drew the blood off her hand, until it was a floating sphere of liquid. With a swiping hand gesture, she made the blood pour down Kill's throat.

Almost immediately, the Red Demon's intestines retreated back into his body, and his wounds knitted together. Soon, he was fully healed. Kill was now breathing and sleeping peacefully.

Jill knelt down, and patted her brother's head affectionately. "There you go," She whispered. "Don't worry, soon Will be gone, I promise you."

She placed a gentle hand on Kill's shoulder, and determination lit in her eyes. "He won't ruin this for us, I swear..."
