"Welcome to your new home."
The Guardians blinked their eyes, and couldn't comprehend what they saw. They were located in a dimly lit room, a giant table was below them. Kill reached down, and released them onto the table's surface.
Dipper instinctively reached for his sword, but then realized he didn't have it in his hand. "What--"
Kill snorted. "Looking for these?" He held out his palm, and on it rested Dipper's sword and Wendy's axe.
"Hey, give that back!" Wendy protested.
"I don't think so," The Demon chuckled.
Mabel glared at him. "You may have taken their weapons, but I still have my Bubbles of Pure Madness!" To make her point, she made them appear in the air, but they were as tiny as her. "Oh, right..."
Kill laughed cruelly, but was cut short a moment later, when another figure came into the room. The Guardians were in shock, to see Gideon Gleeful.
"Kill, what are you laughing for?" The young psychic complained.
"Gleeful, you have to see this," He replied, gesturing towards the table.
Gideon obliged, and looked down. His eyes widened in horror, when he saw the small people. "But...how?"
Kill shrugged. "I shrank them with some weird crystals I found in the forest. Crazy, huh?"
Gideon stared at the Guardians, then caught sight of Mabel. The brunette frowned at him, and he quickly turned away, blushing. "Kill, you're not gonna...hurt them, are you?"
"No..." He responded, dragging out his answer. "I'm only going to temporarily take away their powers, and then we can go along with your plan."
"Um, alright," Gideon sighed. "Should we do it now?"
"Yeah, just wait a sec," Kill told him, then suddenly reached for the table.
Dipper yelped in surprise, when he was lifted off his feet. Kill placed the little brunette in his palm, and smiled at him flirtatiously.
"You know, I think I spotted some dolls in the attic," Kill started, his smile widening. "What about it, Blue Pine? You think you'll look good in a dress?"
Dipper turned red and was speechless. Meanwhile, Gideon was looking at Kill in distaste.
"OK, now you're doing it on purpose," The boy pointed out.
"Don't you kinkshame me, kid," Kill remarked.
Gideon rolled his eyes, then said. "I'll grab the others, and then we can start."
Kill grunted in agreement, placing Dipper in the pocket of his jacket. The Guardian struggled to climb out, but only gave up in the end. Meanwhile, Gideon grabbed both Wendy and Mabel, and followed Kill to the next room. Dipper wasn't sure what will become of them, but he knew it wouldn't end well.

"You want to help me?" Will questioned, in surprise.
Jill giggled softly. "Of course, in exchange for something, of course."
"And, what do you want?"
"Well, what's in your backpack right now?" The blonde asked.
Will arched a brow. "There's Band-Aids, mosquito repellent, the journal--" He stopped, staring at Jill. "You...you want the journal?"
"Bingo," Jill answered. "If you hand it over, I'll gladly show you how to use your newfound powers."
The blue haired boy was quiet. It was so easy, all he had to do was hand over the book, and he would get what he wanted. And from a Demon, learning his new skills would be a breeze. Yet...
"I'm sorry, but no," Will said. "I want to learn magic, but...not like this."
Jill's lips formed a thin line, and her eyes showed no emotion. "Is that so?" She sniped. "I guess, you're planning on repeating what happened back in the war."
Will gaped. "What?"
"Sorry, if this sounds sudden, but...it was your fault Bill died that day."
Horror crawled in him like a flood of spiders, and Will could only stare wide-eyed, before finally recovering his composure. "Wait, how was it my fault?"
Jill looked at him coldly. "You had healing powers far powerful than any being in the galaxy, so much, that you could revive the dead. But, when Bill was slain by the Guardian of the Mind, you didn't heal him, too paralyzed with fear to move. By then, it was too late, the Guardians already burned Bill's body to ashes, and he would've still been alive...if weren't for you."
Will grew pale, not wanting to believe that story was true. "But, I--"
"Save your excuses," Jill hissed. "After that, I sent Kill to get rid of you, but of course, you just had to come back. And to make matters worse, you're gonna take Bill away, again."
"Take him away?" Will repeated, confused. "What are you saying? I would never hurt Bill--"
"Lies!" The blonde shrieked, her eyes glowed brighter, nearly hiding her pupils from view. "Sooner or later, you will betray Bill, like you betrayed him back then."
"Please, listen to me," He begged, drawing closer. "If it helps, I apologize for everything I might've done in the past. I could only imagine the pain of losing your brother, so please--"
Hot needles of pain shot through him, as claw-like nails raked across his face. Will gasped loudly, as blood tickled down the cuts in his flesh. He looked over at Jill, who had red stains in the tips of her fingernails.

"Gosh, you're pathetic," Jill spat. "Which is why Kill and I always hated you. You're so incredibly weak, a disgrace to the Cipher family. Yet...Bill always put you on a pedestal."
Will clutched his bleeding wound, then regarded Jill in distraught, when a golden flame lit in her palm.
"I'm going to do what Kill failed at," She growled, the golden light shined over her features. "I'm going to make sure you stay dead..."

Bill had no idea what he was doing.
He made a quick run back to the shack, and managed to fasten the crystal to a flashlight. After that, he returned to the woods. Now, a new problem arises, as he had no idea where to go. Bill figured that if he kept walking through the forest, he'll eventually arrive at the place where Kill was keeping the others. It was a stupid idea, there was no doubt about it, but it was also the only thing Bill could do. He just hoped Will had better luck than him.
He pushed forward, gazing worryingly at the sky, as it deepened into a bright orange. It wouldn't be long until night came, and Bill dreaded the prospect of wondering the woods in the dark. However, it seemed like his dumb luck had struck again, because he finally spotted something. It was a lonely shack.
Bill hesitantly drew closer, until he could see the ancient wood that barely held the building together. It didn't look like the shack back home, it looked sinister in comparison. He circled it, coming to a stop when he found a window. Gingerly, Bill looked through it, and his heart paced in his chest.
Kill and Gideon were inside, thankfully not looking in his direction. Bill moved closer, trying to hear what they were saying.
"What do you mean, we have to wait for Jill?" Gideon snapped at the Demon.
Kill sighed. "Because this is a powerful spell, and I need assistance," He explained, then he smiled down at his palm. "Unless, Blue Pine here wants to help me?"
Bill noticed that Kill was holding something. He peered closer, and nearly fell on his back, when he saw the miniature version of Dipper resting in the Demon's palm.
The Guardian glared up at Kill. "I rather get stomped to death," He spat, then turned towards Gideon. "And, why are you working with them?"
"Unlike you, Jill and Kill know who their true enemy is," Gideon remarked. "Which is why they're helping me take Bill down."
"You fool," Dipper shot back. "They're lying to you! Can't you see, they're Bill's--AH!"
Both Bill and Gideon stared in shock, when Kill pulled up Dipper's shirt, exposing the Guardian's torso.
Kill withdrew, smiling. "Sorry, couldn't resist. I didn't interrupt you, did I?"
Dipper pulled down his shirt, a flushing mess. "You're a hazard to society!" He screamed at Kill.
"What's your point?" The Demon deadpanned.
Bill glared at Kill, feeling a sudden flash of anger, and another emotion he didn't recognize.
All of a sudden, Kill made a box appear in thin air. The box had tiny holes on top, and he set it down on a table beside them.
"Let's get you to rest, Dipper," Kill said, placing the Guardian inside the box.
Dipper's protests were cut short, when Kill put the lid in place. Afterwards, the Red Demon turned to Gideon.
"I'm gonna check on the girls," Kill decided. "See if they didn't escape."
"Just don't hurt her--them," Gideon corrected himself, quickly.
Kill looked at him suspiciously, then cracked a smile. "Sure, just take care of my Blue Pine...or else." Then, he left the room.
Gideon rolled his eyes. "He really thinks he can tell me what to do?" He muttered to himself.
Bill's eyes widened, when the white haired boy turned on his heels, and left the room as while. Acting quickly, the blond checked if the window was open, and breathed in relief when it was. As quietly as possible, he opened it and climbed inside. Then, Bill immediately went for the box, and tore the lid off.
Dipper blinked rapidly, then smiled upon recognizing the face above him. "Bill!"
"You know it, Pine Tree," Bill chuckled. "Now, let's turn you into a normal sized nerd instead a pint sized one."
He took the Guardian out of the box, and placed him on the table. Bill then reached for his flashlight, and rotated the crystal so it showed the blue side. He pointed it at Dipper, and flashed the beam of light at him. Immediately, the Guardian grew in size, until he was back to normal.
"This is the first and last time you'll hear me say this, but you're a genius!" Dipper beamed, sitting on the table.
Bill gave him a playful look, and then helped the brunette off the table. But, the reunion was put to a halt, when the flashlight was suddenly yanked out of Bill's grip. The blond turned, and saw the object floating in the air towards a familiar face.
Gideon grabbed the flashlight, and glared at them. "It seems we have ourselves an intruder."

Ps. There are game elements here Disclaimers and warnings: - This story uses clichés. Like, lots of it. - I am not a native English speaker, so my grammar may not be best (It actually is pretty horrible). First 80 or so chapters are a true butchery for eyes and I admit it. Shouldn’t I correct them then? I should. Why am I not doing it? Who knows. Maybe one day I will. - This story is pretty much an experiment. I try different perspectives, different styles, I can make some random Deus-ex-machina if I would consider that I made mistake in the story and decide to change it. - This story is written for pure fun, if you expect some mind-blowing plots and conspiracy of top-level authors – then you will be most likely disappointed. - Easter eggs. Easters eggs everywhere. Every now and then you will be able to spot single events, characters and lines of text that belong in different stories/mangas/movies/books and such. Of course, they do not belong to me but to the owners, though I am not listing them – I am sorry, but if you need to be told from where line comes, we won’t be friends. - And finally. The story is written for you and WITH YOU. If you have any suggestions, events, characters, skills, class… ANYTHING… you wish to see, please – tell me. In best case scenario I would use them, in worse – I would just not implement them, so what do you lose? Guyz I owe my thanks for their contribution: KenChi? Necromancer's Resolve
Foster Locke's life wasn't the harshest it could have been. But it wasn't the easiest either. Despite losing the last of his family and having immense debt thrown on him, getting the chance to keep practicing Martial Arts pulled away, and having a completely messed up sleep-schedule, he usually tried his best to stay positive to the outside world. Of course, that wasn't always possible, especially not when he was staring into the glowing eyes of a man-eating creature he had never heard of before. The glowing message-box that accompanied it wasn't much better either. Not to mention the fact that he was suddenly in a dark forest instead of the train station. This isn't a story of great anguish, inescapable peril, or heroic world-saving. Rather, it's one of a young man trying to get by in a world that seems to try his best to kill him. I hope you enjoy the read. --- Cover Image temporary [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
