《Zero Falls: Season One》Fight Fighters-Part One

After the scenarios involving the time traveling machine, Bill was desperate for a break. Which was why, he was with hanging out with Wendy in the nearby arcade. He tried to invite Will to go with them, but his brother declined, saying he was busy with something. Bill was worried that Will might be trying do magic again. He already caught his brother trying to use his supposed powers on multiple occasions. Bill could understand where Will was coming from, but at the same time, he was afraid his twin was becoming reckless. If anyone knew what Will did that day, it might put him in danger.
Bill shook his head. He came here to ignore his current problems, not dwell on them. So, he focused all his attention, on trying to beat Wendy in a videogame called Fight Fighters. It was one of those combat things, where they each played a character. The redheaded Guardian was Dr Karate, while Bill played as a character called Rumble McSkirmish.
"Aha!" Wendy exclaimed, triumphantly, as Bill's character collapsed and her one came out as the victor.
"What? No fair!" Bill protested. "Why did you make me pick this character, he's super weak."
"Hey, Rumble is an old time favorite of mine," The redhead remarked.
"If so, why didn't you pick him?"
"I wanted you to experience him for yourself."
Bill rolled his eyes. "The only thing I experienced from him is his overly dramatic lines."
"Oh come on, it's not that dramatic," Wendy insisted.
In response, the blond pointed to the screen of the video game, where a cut scene was playing out between Dr Karate and Rumble McSkirmish.
"DR KARATE! YOU KILLED MY FATHER, AGAIN!"
"ARRGH!"
"YOU TAKE THAT BAAAACK!"
"OK, you have a point," Wendy admitted.
The two paused, before bursting into laughter. Once they calmed down, they were about to start another game, when a voice interrupted them.
"Hey, Wendy!"
Bill inwardly groaned, when Robbie approached them, wearing his human disguise, along with that scarf that covered his mouth. The Cupid immediately paused beside Wendy, and wrapped an arm around her.
"Hey, Robbie," Wendy greeted, pecking him on the cheek.
"Wow, who knew you came out in the daytime," Bill jeered, giving Robbie a hard look.
"Watch it, kid," The Cupid warned. Then, he turned back to Wendy. "Babe, I was just about to leave, but maybe we can hang out later?"
"Aw man, actually, I have to go on a trip after this," Wendy explained. "I been hearing word of some vicious beavers in the west woods, so I got to deal with that. I'll probably be back next week, is that okay?"

"Uh, sure," Robbie said, cheeks tinted pink. "Anyway, I'll see you later, babe." Then, he walked off without another word.
Bill watched him leave, with squinted eyes. "Red, can I ask you something?"
"Uh, sure?"
"Why do you like that idiot?"
"Way to be subtle, Bill," The redhead sighed.
"I'm serious," The blond said.
Wendy shrugged. "I dunno, Robbie and I were basically inseparable when I earned my Guardian title. Yes, he can be aggressive, but he's still important to me."
"I'm just saying, someone like you deserves way better," Bill pointed out.
"Oh, and does it happen to be you?" She teased, batting her eyelashes. When Bill was silent, her eyes widened. "Wait, is that true!? Dude, I was kidding--"
"It's not me!" Bill shouted.
"Oh, good...no offense," Wendy said, awkwardly. "So, who do think my perfect match would be?"
He hesitated, before speaking. "It's...it's complicated."
Wendy suddenly frowned. "Oh no, is it Will?"
"My god, you frustrate me sometimes, Red."
❇❇❇
Will sat cross legged on his mattress, looking at the small cut he made in his arm. It took a lot of willpower to hurt himself, but he had to practice somehow.
He pressed his finger to the cut, wincing a bit. He then closed his eyes shut, and mentally tried to make wake his powers up or something. It took more effort than he would like to admit, and his temples started aching. Eventually, he opened his eyes, and removed the finger from his wound.
Will sighed deeply, when the cut stayed the same, it didn't even so much as shrink. Feeling defeated, he flopped onto his back, where Gompers was there to comfort him.
"This is hopeless," He sighed, petting the goat. "Why is it so hard? It was easy when I healed Mason, and I didn't even notice it was happening. Maybe Bill was right, it could've just been a one time thing."
Gompers looked at him blankly, and yet again, Will released a heavy sigh. He was talking to a goat, it was fair to say that he was losing his mind.
His self loathing was then put to a halt, when he heard the front door open and close. Will felt a streak of fear, before a familiar voice called to him from downstairs.
"Bill? Will? Are you guys home?"
It was Mabel.
Will immediately sprung up, and reached to his side, where he kept a packet of Band-Aids. He took one out, and covered his cut with it, before walking out the attic and going downstairs. Once he reached the front door, he saw Mabel and Dipper Pines before him. Will began to suspect that visits from them would be the norm, considering how close the Cipher twins grew with the Guardians. It made Will even more guilty, realizing he was keeping secrets from them.

"Hey guys, what brings you here?" Will asked, smiling at them.
"Remember when you told me about your favorite show, Ducktective?" Mabel grinned. "Well, I thought it'd be fun if we binged the series together. I even brought Dipping Sauce."
"I am being held against my will," Dipper remarked.
She nudged him, then turned back toward Will. "So, are you in?"
"Sure," Will responded, eagerly. "I'll prepare some snacks."
So, the three got comfortable. The Pine twins spent a while figuring out the remote, until Will helped them out. They finally got the right channel, and Mabel and Dipper settled down on the floor. But the time Will brought in the snacks, was when the front door opened again, and Bill stepped inside.
"Bill, how was the arcade with Wendy?" Will asked.
Bill shrugged, then walked over to slump on the sofa. "It was cool, then we got interrupted by Robbie of all people."
Mabel gagged, and Dipper frowned slightly.
"Well, we were just about to watch Ducktective," Will told his brother, setting a bowl of chips on the armchair.
"Ugh, that show?" The blond groaned. "It's ridiculously overrated."
"And, you are revoked of chips," The blue haired boy said, taking the bowl away.
"Wait! I take it back!" Bill exclaimed, reaching desperately for the chips.
The three laughed, while the blond still tried to reach for the bowl. Then, they stopped abruptly, when they heard a voice from outside.
"Hey, Wendy! Can you come out for a sec?"
Bill groaned, and sank back into the sofa. "It's Robbie, again! Wendy just told that freak she'll be away for a while."
"I'll take care of it," Dipper said, starting to stand up.
"Are you sure about that, bro-bro?" Mabel asked.
The male brunette turned to his sister. "Mabel, I handled bigger threats than Robbie."
Mabel tilted her head. "What about that time he hung you from that--"
"Mabel!" He snapped.
Bill suppressed a laugh, while Will frowned a bit.
"I kinda agree with Mabel," Will admitted. "You and Robbie hate each other, you could start a fight. Maybe, it'll be better if I talk to him."
Bill stared. "Are you nuts?"
"Compared to all of us, Robbie seems to hate me the less," Will pointed out.
"He has a point," Mabel agreed, sheepishly.
Will nodded, then placed the bowl back on the armchair, before heading towards the front door. Meanwhile, Dipper regarded him incredulously.
"Bill, aren't you going to stop him?" He said, turning towards the blond.
Bill was currently in the middle of devouring the bowl of chips, before looking up. "Oh, of course!"
He got up from the sofa, and walked over to his brother. He grabbed Will's arm, before the blue haired boy could touch the doorknob.
"Will, think about this," Bill told him. "You'll be confronting a semi-powerful Guardian with your noodle body."
"I'm only going to politely ask him to leave," Will insisted. "Not everything should be solved with violence."
"What do you mean? Violence was the most easiest solution to all of our problems. That, and running away in sheer terror."
His brother ignored him, and opened the door, before stepping out. Will looked around, and saw a familiar figure in black standing a foot away from the shack. He hesitated for a moment, before walking towards the Cupid.
"Hi there, Robbie," Will said.
Robbie looked down at him. "Who are you, again?"
"I'm Will."
"Weren't there two of you?"
"Yes...Bill and I are twins," He reminded. "Anyway, I wanted to let you know that Wendy isn't here."
"Pfft! I knew that," Robbie scoffed. "Also, what?"
"She went on a trip," Will explained. "She told me this morning. So, how about you come back when she returns?"
The Cupid narrowed his eyes. "I guess..."
Will smiled. "Great. Let's shake on it, and bid farewell." He took a step forward, then--
Crack!
He froze, and slowly looked down. On the ground, was Robbie's quiver that he only noticed now was there. And, he had his foot on it. Will quickly drew back, and winced when a couple of snapped arrows poured out.
"Robbie, I'm--"
Will bit back a scream, when a hand fisted the collar of his sweater. He was lifted off the ground, now staring into angry dark eyes.
"I'm so sorry!" Will squeaked, fearfully. "I didn't mean to! I'm sure it's easy to get more arrows--."
"My arrows are carved from a one of a kind tree that regrows every ten years!"
Will blinked. "Oh..."
Robbie growled, and tightened his grip. The blue haired boy panicked, and writhed in a bit.
"Wait, wait, wait!" He yelped. "I can make it up to you...somehow."
The grip on his sweater loosened, and Will was dropped roughly to the ground. He dusted himself off, and gingerly looked up, to see the Dark Cupid towering over him.
"You. Me. Circle Park. 3 o'clock," He growled, picking up his quiver. "Don't be late."
Will watched him leave, feeling his insides drop. He had just aggravated an all powerful Guardian, who could easily mutilate him several ways.
What have I done?
