《Zero Falls: Season One》Trust of a Peacock-Final

After following the directions the pipsqueak sent him, Bill finally arrived at a dull building. By now, he was charged with adrenaline and pure anger. If he didn't get a chance to punch Gideon in the face, he will be very unhappy.
With no hesitation, Bill stomped up to the front doors and kicked them open. "YOU SON OF A--"
"Oh, you're finally here," Gideon said, coolly.
The shorter boy was standing in the center, surrounding by towers of boxes. Bill didn't know what kind of things came out of this factory, and he didn't really care.
Bill glared at Gideon. "Where's Will?"
Gideon smiled, and then gripped his bowtie. Almost immediately, a light emitted from his hands and eyes, and something floated up from behind him. It was a large crate, and it was stuffed with pillows, and resting on them was a familiar blue haired boy. Gideon gently placed the crate behind him, giving Will a strangely affectionate look.
"Your brother and I indeed grew close," He said. "It's hard to imagine how an angel like him is related to a monster like you."
"You wouldn't be the first to think that," Bill noted. "And if you care so much about him, why did you threaten to kill him over the phone?"
The boy smirked. "Oh no, I would never hurt Will. That was only a fib, to make sure you would come alone."
The blond growled softly. "Why are you even doing this!?"
Gideon's eyes glowed with a deep viciousness. "Now that you're up close, I finally know who you are...Bill Cipher, Destroyer of Worlds, the One Eyed Beast."
Bill gaped. "What the hell--"
He was cut short, when out of nowhere, objects flew out of the boxes and zipped across the ceiling. When they slowed, it was revealed that they were shears. Bill winced, as they aimed their razor blades at him. Then, he felt his whole body grow numb, and he was lifted into the air, with a light surrounding him.
"How are you even doing this!?" He yelled, struggling to no avail.
"You're not the only one with secrets," Gideon spat. "Now, time to get rid of you once and all."
Despite his current situation, Bill rolled his eyes. "If I had a dollar for every time someone wanted to kill me, I'd be a freaking billionaire by now!"
"Yes, go ahead and make jokes," He snapped, his eyes blazing like blue flames. "It'll make your death easier for me."
Then, the shears loomed closer to the blond's face. He cried out loud, when one of them sped past, and grazed a cut on his cheek. The other shears grazed at his skin, opening bleeding cuts, erupting needles of pain across his body. Bill realized Gideon didn't immediately kill him, more like the boy was playing with him, hurting him for his own amusement.
This kid was insane.
"Bill...?"
The blond breathed heavily, as the warm tickle of blood ran down his wounds. He managed to turn his head, and saw Will raising from the crate. Once the boy registered the scene before him, he gasped in shock at seeing his brother in the air.

Gideon looked distressed. "Dang it! That sleep spell was supposed to last longer!"
"Bill!" Will yelled, climbing out of the crate.
"Don't come any closer!" Gideon shouted, blocking Will's path. "Can't you see, I'm trying to help you!"
"What you're doing, is hurting my brother!" He screamed back, rage lit in his eyes. "Put Bill down, now!"
Gideon narrowed his eyes. "If I let this monster go, it'll be the end for all of us. Bill is a Demon, and he has to be stopped!"
Will looked at him blankly, then bowed his head. "I'm sorry about this, but you left me no choice..." Then, he lunged at the other boy.
Gideon didn't have the time to react, as Will pinned him onto his back. Then, as fast as he could, the blue haired boy reached out and ripped the bowtie from around the psychic's neck. Nearby, the power faded from the shears and they fell to the floor, and so did Bill. He screamed in panic, but fortunately, managed to land in some nearby empty boxes. Dazed, Bill slowly rose to his feet, meanwhile, Gideon was staring down Will, as the boy gripped his bowtie.
"It's over, Gideon," Will said, determinedly. "You can't hurt anyone, now that I have your magic amulet."
Gideon didn't move an inch, then his gaze darted to Bill. He bared his teeth. "Guess I have to do it the old fashion way."
Then, to Will's dismay, the peacock boy picked up a nearby shear and advanced on Bill. The blond, still recovering from his wounds, tried his best to back away from Gideon, as the other started slashing the sharp object at him. However, both boys didn't notice the window behind them, and before Will could warn them, Gideon lunged forward with a furious yell. He barreled right into Bill, and both ended up crashing through the window.
Will felt his stomach drop, and rushed forward. He looked down to see the two plummeting down the hill, the bottom nearing them in each passing second. He stood in shock, before only deciding now to do something. Then, he shifted his gaze to the bowtie, and clenched it in his hands desperately.
Please! Please! Please!, He pleaded to it.
And, like a miracle, the amulet began to glow. Will felt relief crash on him, as he saw the two figures below began to slow their descent to the earth. After Gideon and Bill were placed gently on the ground, Will had another command for the amulet, and very quickly a light surrounded him. He was lifted into the air, and was slowly lowered down the hill. The two boys stared at him, as he landed before them with ease.
Will faced Gideon with a glare. "I said: it's over."
He threw the amulet to the ground, where it smashed into a dozen pieces. Gideon only gaped in complete shock, trembling slightly.
"You must understand, Will!" He pleaded. "Your brother is a Demon! You can't trust him!"

By now, the blue haired boy was fumed with anger. "Gideon, if you hate him so much for being a Demon, then you might as while hate me too."
Gideon paled. "What do you mean?"
"I am a Demon...at least, I use to be," Will said, softly. "But, why should that matter? I'm still me...we can still be friends."
He reached out for the boy, but Gideon backed away from him, rather harshly. Will regarded the boy before him, whose eyes that were usually caring towards him, but were now cold as ice.
"To think I ever thought of you as a friend," Gideon hissed. "Stay away from me."
Then, he turned on his heels, and slinked off into the shadows. Will felt a crushing feeling in his chest, and looked down sorrowfully at the remains of the amulet by his feet. He bent down, and picked up the pieces. When he rose again, Bill was by his side.
"C'mon, Will," He told him, gently. "We don't want Wendy to worry."
Will only nodded, and then followed his brother, as the night loomed over them.
❇❇❇
"HE DID WHAT?"
Much later, the twins had returned to the shack, and after they patched up Bill's wounds, they told Wendy of their recent encounter with Gideon.
"I swear, when I see that little punk, I'm gonna hang him from the highest tree from his underwear!" She snapped.
"Count me in," Bill said, eagerly. "What about you, Will?"
Will was silent, gazing at the pieces of amulet he arranged on the table. He sighed heavily. "I really thought Gideon was different..."
Wendy and Bill shared a look, before they approached the boy, and stood by his sides with warm smiles.
"Don't sweat it, kid," Wendy reassured, ruffling his hair playfully. "You still have plenty of friends who aren't fakes like that guy."
Will returned their smile, though it was a weak one. "I suppose you're right."
"Of course, we are," Bill said. "I can imagine what the little pipsqueak is doing now, properly brooding somewhere, planning out his revenge."
Wendy chuckled. "Properly using his psychic powers. Ooohh!"
The two erupted in laughter, Will laughed along with them. "Hehe, yeah...though, I am still a little worried."
"Please, we faced bigger threats than Gideon," Bill reminded. "I mean, what's the worse he can do?"
❇❇❇
He was alone in his room, feeling panic swell up in him.
Why did he do that? Why did he say those things to Will?
The pained expression on the boy's face, will forever be imprinted into Gideon's memories. He felt extremely guilty, after all, it wasn't Will's fault that his brother was a monster.
I have to get him on my side, Gideon thought. But, will he be able to face me after what I said?
The vision flashed through his mind once more. The destruction was terrifying, he couldn't let that happen. He had to stop Bill, but how? Even Journal #2 couldn't help him.
Looks like someone's desperate.
Gideon froze, once hearing the distorted voice bounce off the walls of his room. "Who's there?"
Then, he noticed red smoke clinging to his feet. He cried out in fear, when it expanded, and a form rose from it. It was a man in a leather jacket, with red hair, and equally red eyes.
"Hey there, partner," The man smirked.
Gideon yelped, and backed into his chair, landing on it. A second later, was when a sixteen year old girl appeared on his lap.
"Oh, look at how fluffy his hair is!" She beamed, combing her fingers through his white locks. "Can we keep him?"
"Who the hell are you two?" Gideon demanded.
"I'm Kill, and the weird girl fussing over you is my sister, Jill," The redheaded man explained, then tossed a disproving look at his sister. "Seriously, Jill, stop scaring the kid."
Jill rolled her eyes, but got off Gideon, so she could stand beside her brother. After that, the psychic rose to his feet and glared at the two, feeling a little braver.
"Why are you here?"
"We're here to help you, of course," Jill giggled.
Gideon rose a brow. "With what, exactly?"
"You know what," Kill shot back, crossing his arms. "To stop the Demon that destroyed our home."
He blinked. "Wait...you mean Bill?"
Both nodded. "And, we can't do it without you," Jill insisted. "So, what do you say, handsome?"
This would be Gideon's chance to do something! But, he barely knew these two besides for their names, and the way they appeared on the exact time that he needed help...it was almost too good to be true.
Jill must've noticed his hesitation, then a smirk played on her lips. "Would you like something in return?"
Gideon looked at her suspiciously. "What are you playing at?"
"There must be something you desire," She said, coolly. "Riches. Fame--"
"I already have that."
The blonde girl hummed. "I guess you're right. How about something better...like the heart of special one?"
She held up a hand, and blue flames rose in her palm. Gideon stared in amazement, when it began to take shape. He turned a deep red, when it took the form of a shooting star.
"Agree to work with us, and then she'll be yours."
By now, Gideon wasn't thinking straight. All he could think about was saving the town, protecting Will...and finally winning the love of the Guardian of the Heart.
"I agree," He said, the air seemed thick around him as he breathed out those words.
Kill's eyes gleamed. "Good. Now, listen very closely to what we have to say..."

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
