《Sebastian Scenarios // stardew valley》Program buddies 2

Y/n hummed quietly under her breath, her eyes darting from each side of the screen as she typed endlessly, the keyboard making a satisfying yet irritating click each time she heard it.
Sebastian, had also been working on the website.
Like Y/n had thought, Sebastian, unlike her past partners in programming.. had stayed.
He did his best to focus on his work, Y/n sometimes getting distracted and drifting off while typing ideas that she accidentally writes fan fiction on the same document file Sebastian was working on.
He would snicker at the descriptive scenes she would write at times before calling to her attention which embarrassed Y/n completely.
There they sat doing their work.
Thankfully with the help of caffeine Y/n was able to focus more that day.
"Right, and that page is done.." She muttered, sending the document file over to Sebastian who would read over and confirm.
"Done already?" He asked in surprise, Y/n was a hard worker when she tried, maybe she just didn't have the passion to type all day...
Shes mentioned she was more into games than typing which had earned a light scoff from the male.
Sebastian could hear her speak up before being interrupted.
"Hey Y/n! You still doing work?" A feminine voice chirped from her side of the call.
It was cool to see what happens in the daily life of a city girl.
"Yeah, I'm fine I'll have my break later" Y/n said with a heavy sigh, Sebastian cringed at how similar they sounded, if only she groaned more when being interrupted but he guessed she liked having the company more than he did.
"Aw ok.. who you talking to? Your boyfriend?" The unfamiliar girls voice teased, a small giggle squeezed at the end of her sentence.
"Grace..." Y/n sighed.
"Girlfriend then..?"
"Sure, ok.. the programmer is suddenly my girlfriend" Y/n said sarcastically a quiet 'oh' being heard from the other female, Sebastian felt his cheeks warm.
"Alright then.. I'll talk to you on your break ok? Don't push yourself too hard M/n" Grace said with a worried sigh.

Sebastian was caught off guard with the use of her middle name? Was that her middle name?
Guess it was..
"I won't, also please get me another espresso from the cafe while your there" Y/n called for her and a small laugh erupted from Grace, fuelling her friends addiction.
"Tell Zen to get the doc file sent to me!" She yelled one last time before silence came.
Y/n sighed and stretched her arms over her head "You sure you don't wanna go with your friends?" Sebastian asked, he noticed how much more talkative she had been compared to him.
By the sounds of it, she actually enjoyed speaking to others while working, even when getting distracted at times, there were other moments when she'd be rambling about a new manga whilst typing up perfect formulas into the document they shared.
It scared him for a bit but got used to it after a while of working with her.
Still..
It bothered him, the way Y/n's hardworking personality was always used for Jojas advantage, and yet she was still at the bottom of the step ladder.
He could tell she was tired, at times he even thought she'd fallen asleep but could hear her hands typing, he could even see the typing, but somehow Sebastian was convinced Y/n was losing it all in each key tap of the sentence she would be writing.
"Oh Bas, your coming to Zuzu for a meeting tomorrow correct?" Y/n suddenly spoke up.
He felt himself smile at the little nickname she had given to him during one of their lunch breaks.
Nobody's ever called him Bas or Bastian before.. of course the nickname had its quirks but somehow the emo came to like it.
"Yeah, at 3:40 pm correct?" He said with sip of his coffee, specifically his third one that day.
"Great! Looking forward to meeting you Mr. McCarthy"

She didn't know what to expect.
Even when not knowing what Sebastian looked like, Y/n had her terrible assumptions based on his voice.

It wasn't low but wasn't high either.
He always sounded tired but strangely enough Sebastians voice was soothing and clean.
If she really thought about it he sounded a lot like Marshall lee from that gender bend episode of Adventure Time.
Y/n waited patiently with her boss for Sebastian on the first floor of her workplace, leaning against a large square pillar as she scrolled through a Discord server she was in.
She wore one of her earbuds as she had her playlist on in the back, the other dangling down from the chord connecting to her phone.
Sebastian on the other hand was a hot mess.
He was nervous to meet his new friend, but at least they won't be alone.
He didn't get much sleep the night before, of course he didn't...
Sebastian was too much of a wreck thinking about what Y/n looked like.
Usually meeting with other programmers wasn't a big deal like this one.
But Y/n was most definitely female.
Sebastian usually never spoke to girls other than Abby, but Abby was fucking gay.
Then again he couldn't just assume things about Y/n.
Based on Y/n's conversation with her friend yesterday it was mentioned that she could go both ways.
Who knows maybe she even went in between.
None of Bas' thoughts calmed him down though...
Actually they made him even more insecure.
Especially when he saw her in the Lobby-
OH SHIT HE SAW HER ON THE LOBBY.
Sebastian stared in awe, carefully eyeing down Y/n's outfit.
She wore a black oversized soft woven twill tunic shirt and high waisted black jeans.
Y/n topped it all off with a black choker and ankle high platform boots.
He knew it was her.
Before meeting up, Y/n's boss notified him of where they'd be.
It was her.
Sebastian swallowed the lump in his throat, feeling anxious and powerless when looking at the girl.
She was short and small but her just standing there gave off a 'Fuck you I'm superior' aura that never failed to have others staring.
He quietly walked over, Y/n's boss was the first to notice.
"Mr. McCarthy!" He grinned with pleasure, shaking the emos hand.
Thankfully Sebastian was smart enough to dress up a bit.
He wore black skinny jeans, and dark grey sweatshirt with his white collared shirt peaking out from the top of his sweatshirt.
His hair was lightly pushed back so he at least won't look as if he hadn't taken a shower in weeks.
Y/n looked up from her phone, locking eyes with the boy before smiling softly and shaking his hand, taking off her earbuds in the process.
"Hello Sebastian"
Oh did her voice out of phone calls sound so much more amazing.
"H-hey.." He said anxiously.
Oh god she was good with people.
Their eyes stayed on one another, never realizing that the boss was still talking.
Sebastians cheeks burned tremendously as she gave him another smile.
He noted himself of how her hair shifted from its original form when tilting her head.
It was a mess but somehow she made it look good.
"Y/n, did you hear me?" Her boss checked her in, pushing himself in between the two.
Y/n looked at him in irritation before following him with Sebastian next to her.
"Yeah, I know" she sighed, rolling her eyes over to a small cafe.
Sebastian smirked down at her.
He was sure she didn't actually hear him talking about the plans for the website.
"Sorry he's so stingy, how are you?" Y/n whispered to him.
Her smile was so bright Sebastian could've fallen for her there.
It was crazy how he's known Y/n for only a few months and he was already comfortable around her.
"I'm okay, you..?"
"Tired, hey why don't we ditch and go to the mall or something?" She joked, elbowing Sebastian softly.
He chuckled at her suggestion before the annoying man in front of them began speaking louder.
This was going to be a long day...

8 128By Myself
The diurnal monsters worship the day, while the nocturnal creatures rule over the night. But nothing opposes two folks more than living on the same land at the same time. Humanity prospered until it reached a pre-industrial age where the largest cities observed the first long chimneys made in brick whereas the smaller villages still had to cut the forest's logs with their axe. But to get to this flourishing era, something had to be sacrificed.
8 183The Paths of Magick
Credits: Story by Xcaliburnt. Cover Art by @Bervolart. Magick, the power to bend the laws of reality. All because of a mystical substance known as mana. Mages follow the Paths to achieve power, for there is no more addictive chase. Each Path winds and twists, forcing mages through the flames of adversity and challenge. Though the operative word is "path", the reality is far less straightforward. Instead of a road, Paths are like the branches of world trees, erupting into the heavens, intertwining, and ending in sharp snaps. Only the strongest reach the sky. There are several Paths, and many Ways to walk them—variations of the same Path, and like the stars, they are endless. Magick is the sacred flame that scours the fat, rendering the truest self. Superfluous flesh melting away to show the skeleton of one's being. A chance for ascension—apotheosis. Though not every mage works to godhood, if they survive long enough, It is inescapable. Witness the lives of those that tread the knife's edge of self-destruction. Each one intertwined in their search for answers, revenge, and, most of all: power. These individuals have all lost something precious—irreplaceable—and In search of filling the void left behind, they have taken up the mantle of a mage. Per aspera ad astra. Ad mortem vel divinitatis. (Through adversity to the stars. To death or divinity.) There is no consistent release schedule except my consistent inconsistency. Besides, there’s like a thousand pages worth of content, how can—you already read it? Goddamn. Oh, and there is a very long hiatus between volumes as I intend to edit and rewrite a lot. What to Expect: This story is progression fantasy, so expect a healthy dose of training. It's also heavy on slice of life, and it isn't entirely overarching-plot-driven. Expect characters to live their lives, and not always be on some quest to save the world. There's a lot of magic theory and discussion about it in the story. So, if you don't like impromptu lessons on sorcerous theory by traveling monster slayers, this might not be for you. But if you do like it, rejoice! For there is a lot of it. This is also heavy on prose, purple as a bruised eye. I use outdated, uneccesarily collegiate-level terms and play around with the writing style just for the heck of it. I find it fun to wax and wane poetic, and that might grate on you—I don’t plan to change this aspect of the Paths much if at all. Onto the viewer discretion is advised parts: This is grim-dark/ grim-heart. Take the tags seriously. There will be combat scenes that are brutal and horrifying. Fights to the death tend to be. This is a tale about medieval mercenaries (quite literal killers for hire), man-eating monsters, and eldritch gods beyond the material plane. Beside that, there will be traumatic events that are best left unread. I do not detail certain acts I find heinous enough, instead leaving some parts unwritten but still alludded to if not outright stated; there is simply no graphic narration thereof. This is not for the faint of heart.
8 282Don't be Mistaken! I'm not a Reincarnate!
I have someonelse's memories but none of it makes sense. It's like looking through a photo album that doesn't belong to you. But still you can't help but wonder: Who were the memories meant for, if it wasn't supposed to be mine?
