A/n: this is a completely different series from introverted, they do not have the same story line, kinda like the mute reader series on here
Fucking dumb.
Stupid stupid job.
If only I hadn't stopped playing in that band..
My mind fell to my highschool years and the few months of college before suspension.
Those were the days I actually had fun..
I made money out of it too.. why did we ever stop..
Usually the sound of typing would tick me off but the only typing came from me, everybody else had left.. I'm not even supposed to be here but my stupid boss just hates me.
At this point it was just depressing.
Not caring about the keys tapping each second was my last break at insanity.
I sighed before picking up the last of my papers and bringing them to my boss.
That dumb guy..
I was supposed to married to him.
Arranged marriage by my step mom..
What an idiot..
I knocked on his door and a muffled 'come in' came from the other side.
"Got the last of the papers, can I go home now?"
"Now now, you can't just go off and walk away from your work like that?" He smirked at me smugly.
"What?" I raised an eyebrow at him, irritated with his shit.
The man dropped a pile of papers, blank.
Don't tell me..
"This is bullshit! It's 11:00 pm! I should've been at home hours ago!"
He only smiled even more.
"What a joke.." I scoffed before taking the papers and going back to my cubicle.
This is so stupid..
"Ugh! Why even do the stupid papers!" I groaned, slamming one of my open drawers at my desk.
One of the desk drawers opened.
The very bottom.
Out of curiosity, I looked through all the papers.
Man.. I seriously need to do work..
Just as I was about to put the papers away an envelope slipped out.
What the heck is this..?
PT..?
Somehow the stamped letters felt so warm.
Kinda like those scenes in anime's where everything's all pink and bubbly.
Am I in an anime..?
Aha.. I'm going crazy aren't I..?
Well..
Slowly, I opened the envelope, being careful not to crack the waxed stamp.
The recognizable handwriting caught me off gaurd as the words curved so perfectly.
Dear Marceline,
If your reading this, you must be in dire need of change.
The same thing happened to me, long ago. I'd lost sight of what mattered most in life... real connections with other people and nature. So I dropped everything and moved to the place I truly belong.
I've enclosed the deed to that place... my pride and joy: D. farm. It's located in Stardew Valley, on the southern coast. Its the perfect place to start your new life.
This was my most precious gift of all, and now it's yours. I know you'll honour the family name, my dear. Good luck.

Love, Grandpa
P.S if Lewis is still alive say hi to the old guy for me, will ya?
.
..
...
....
Well then..
"Hey ass crack! I'm quitting!" I slammed the door open, smiling and throwing all the papers I haven't done at the ground.
He stared in shock.
"What do you mean leaving? you can't?"
"Well I am! So ha!"
I took my bag and slammed the door shut.
Walking out the building, feeling powerful.
Making sure to flip the building off I ran immediately to my car.
"EAAEHFIGNEODNA...."
I turned the thing on and giggled to myself smugly, blasting songs I wrote in the band as I drove.
"FUCK YOU JOJA, FUCK YOUUUUUU"
I called my step mom.
"Hey bitch, I'm moving out that stupid apartment you put me in and never talking to you again, byeee~~"
"Wha-"
"THANK YOU GRANDPA" I turned my phone off, opening my window and having the time of my life.
Well..
Goodbye old life..
Hello country boys and girls.

After getting off work I drove to my apartment immediately packing everything up.
I left some of my clothes with Molly.
Molly's one of the members of our old band.
I love her she's so sweet-
"Last stop!" The bus driver yelled.
I sighed one last time before smiling to myself.
Well..
This is it..
Taking my backpack and guitar case with me, my other stuff would be mailed to me with the help of Dexter.
The bass player of my old band.
Dexter and I have been best friends our entire life..
I stepped off the bus, not knowing what to do or where to go.
Shit..
I haven't told anybody here I was coming have I..?
God dammit..
Uh..
As I walked towards the fences I looked to my left where a town stood at the end of the path.
"Oh! Maybe I could head that way!"
Quickly, I ran to what looked like an open area, passing by a sign which said 'saloon' I could only guess the building right in front was the mayors.
Maybe I should talk to him..
The door stayed closed as I knocked on it repeatedly.
"Maybe no ones home.." before making my way down the stairs, the door swung open and I looked back to an old man.
"Who are.."
"I-I'm Marceline, your Mayor Lewis correct-"
"Marceline!?" He yelled, grabbing my hands.
"Y-yes?"
"What are you doing here!? It's been years!"
"I um.. I'm sorry but I don't remember much.. my grandpa gave me this letter at his deathbed.. I only found and read it now.." I passed him the beige paper, the old man read the words carefully.
His eyes darting back and forth.
"You needed a change huh?" He smiled at me and passed me the letter.
I nodded before he chuckled and pulled me into a hug.

"Welcome back kiddo.. you might not remember but you definitely had tons of fun memory's here.. now, let's go! We gotta get to Robins to get your cottage all fixed up for you!" He closed the door behind him and we started towards the mountains.
As we grew closer to the mountains, a large house came into view.
Mayor Lewis escorted me in and the red head stared at me a couple of times and listened to Lewis talk.
She gasped and ran to me.
"Marceline!? It's really you!?" She hugged me.
"I-uh y-yes?"
"Robin she dosent remember anything"
"Right.. well, I'm Robin! Town carpenter! You used to play with my kids and a bunch of others here when you were little.. speaking of.."
"Sebastian!" She suddenly yelled.
A groan escaped from the hallway along with some stomping.
"What?"
EMO PHASE.
IM NAMING YOU EMO PHASE.
How old is this dude?
He's probably in highschool if he's still in that phase..
Memory's come back from middle school to college.
Man I had great style..
Pretty much still wore the same styled clothes..

As I got up the stairs a girl stood by the doorway.
First thing that stood out was the clothing style and guitar case.
She had long pale blonde hair, just a bit curly.
Her roots fading from black.
She wore a blue plaid skirt, over top was a black mcr hoodie which was zipped down to show a white floral lace halter type bralette.
The girl also wore fishnets and converse that had been written on many times with messy writing and small drawings.
The girl had many piercings, on her ears, one on her nose, and as I could see, three over top her collar bones on both sides.
She wore a choker and a necklace with a key Dangling from it.
Multiple rings sat carefully on her fingers.
Well this is interesting..
I'm naming you emo phase..
"You remember Marceline right?" Mom asked, gesturing to the unique girl.
"N-no..?"
Am I supposed to..?
"Well then, she's moving in to the old farm, I'm gonna need help as I'm gonna be cleaning up so your gonna go fix up the cable"
"Um I-"
"Ah Ah Ah! Let's get going!" She interrupted Marceline, grabbing both our arms and taking us with her.
God dammit.
I have work to do..
"So... how was the bus ride from Zuzu?" Mom asked her
Zuzu?
She's from Zuzu?
"Seriously? You moved out from Zuzu? Out of all the places you could live you chose Pelican town?"
Marceline stared at me in surprise before frowning.
"Yeah? So what? How old are you? Sixteen?" The small girl snapped.
I stared in surprise from the sudden anger.
Mom let out an 'Ooo' in a smug tone.
"I'm twenty four actually, how old are you? Thirteen?" I smirked at her, flicking her fourhead with my middle finger.
"Twenty three actually, so thanks! Now I know I look younger than I actually am!" Marceline huffed before running ahead.
Wasn't a compliment but ok..
"Wow.. never seen you have so much fun with a person Sebby~" mom cooed at me, bumping my elbow with hers.
"Oh please.. she's just a spoiled brat"
I rolled my eyes at her.
"I wouldn't get ahead of myself.. I knew her mom and dad Sebastian"
What does that have to do with anything..?
We got to the end of the path where Marceline stood.
"H-how do I clean all this up.." she whispered to herself.
"Ah.... well..I can always help! Just call me over and we can work on it!" Mom put her hand on the girls shoulder.
Marceline nodded and we walked through the forest like farm.
"And here we are.." mom muttered as we got to the cabin.
"Your middle name is Ashton right Marcie? I know your last name I just forgot the middle"
Mom asked, we entered the cabin and the two immediately went to clean up all the dust.
Marcie..? She's already got a nickname for her..
I sighed before going over to the cable.
"Ashton"
Ashton..? Really?
"Marceline Ashton Darling.. Always found it funny how your farm is shortened to D."
"Ah well.. can't really change it now can I..?" She smirked.
Guess not..

Man we worked really hard..
Robin and I..
Not stupid emo phase..
Fucking dumb ass..
I turned the lights on as a test and the bright yellow light flickered before turning on completely.
I smiled and turned it on and off just to make sure.
New furniture was put it, a small coffee table sat in the middle of the room.
my bed which was by my front door.
A TV on the ground in front of the coffee table, beside it in front of my bed stood a fireplace.
Man this is nice..
On the other side of the room was a small circular dining table with two chairs and a bonsai tree which sat on the table for decoration.
"Hey, why don't you come have dinner with us for today? I've already explained the selling bin, so tomorrow you could spend your time meeting people!"
"A-are you sure I can come over..?"
My eyes glanced over to Sebastian who looked away in annoyance.
I furrowed my brows at him before looking back at Robin.
"Yes! You didint get to eat lunch correct? And if I remember you mentioned earlier that you haven't eaten breakfast?"
"Well.."
"Nope! I've already made up my mind! Let's get going!" She pulled Sebastian and I and out the door.
Sebastian glared at me.
What the fuck is his problem?
Can I bark at him?
I wanna bark at him.
Nah.. I'd just weird them both out..
Why is he so rude?
