The sun shone brightly on Neelu's face as she turned her small head to the other side where her brothers were sleeping . Her fringes irritated her delicate skin and she pushed it away with her little fingers .

" bhaiya curtain" Neelu complained groggily without opening her eyes .

" close it" Abhimanyu said , who was sleeping right next to Neelu and covered his face with bed sheet . Neelu drilled her face on to her brother's back and snuggled behind him .

Noor , who was sleeping in the middle like a ball opened her eyes wide . She looked to her left and right . She saw Utkarsh bhaiya sleeping with his mouth wide open and his drool 🤤 seeped through her small little fingers on to the pillow cover . She pushed the rest of the saliva from her fingers into his open mouth and felt proud of herself .

Lil Noor scrunched her nose and pouted before crawling down the bed and slowly walked towards the dressing table . She looked around at the new place and then put her small hand on the dressing table to grab anything present there .

Her little hand swept through the warm surface and stopped as soon as she her small fingers found something . She held it and pulled her hands back .

She saw that it was a pen .

She threw it into her shirt and started climbing back on to the bed while holding on to the bed sheet .

"Oofff" she sighed as she went back to sit her ass on the same place where she slept previously .

She put her little hand inside her shirt and pulled out the pen .

She tried to pulled it all over the pen and then finally the cap came out . She threw it aside and then looked at her brothers . She immediately turned to her left and started scribbling on Utkarsh's face .

She fell in love with the pen as it glided more smoothly than the pens she used previously....

As soon as Lakshmi woke up , she looked towards the watch clock and then went out of the room . She wrapped a shawl around her night dress and then went out of the farm house .

She took a short cut and went to the nearby shop run by an old man .

" uncle , 4 milk packets" Lakshmi asked as she blew warm air through her fingers .

Even though the sun rose up long ago , it was still chilling cold .

She took the milk packets and paid him .

" uncle , I am new here and my house is near by" she informed leaving as the old man nodded at her .

Soon she reached back her home and Arjun too entered back in to his room from behind her .

" Arjun beta ,

It's been two days since you have left .

Is everything alright there ?" Anita asked on phone .

" everything is fine here .

You don't have to worry mother

I will be staying with Lakshmi and kids from now on .

I will send you the address" Arjun said and talked with his mother for a while before disconnecting the call .

" ji !

Lakshmi and Arjun are staying together with kids !

Isn't that a good sign ?

I hope that everything is resolved between them ." Anita said while Veer smiled at her rejoice .

As soon as Anita left , the smile on Veer's face fell .

How can it be so simple ?......

~ In another room in mansion ~

The running water in the washroom was turned off . Saraswathi came out of the washroom with a smile on her face and her eyes were filled with tears .

Sanjay too entered the room at the same time while reading a file in his hands as pushed his specs up on to the bridge of his nose . He heard sounds of footsteps and raised his head to only be pushed back and engulfed in a hug .

He looked down at his wife to see her sniffling on his shirt with a smile on her lips .

Never had his wife approached him openly in their married life .

He was blank for a moment before he patted her head .

" I'm......I'm pregnant" Saraswathi said with happiness slowly creeping up from the bottom of her heart .

" what ?" Sanjay asked again as if he had mistaken what he had heard .

" real....really" Saraswathi said again and this time Sanjay too held her in his arms tightly before letting her go and then made her sit on the bed .

" are you tired ?

Do you want me to get you something to eat ?

Do you feel dizzy ?

Why is your face turning red ?

Are you having fever ?" Sanjay bombarded her with questions while searching for a thermometer .

Saraswathi stopped her husband from rambling and got him sit on the bed and she sat beside him while holding his palm on to her abdomen with happiness.

Soon the news spread to the whole mansion except for the one in the guest room .

Everyone were happy and so had the news been known to Arjun and Lakshmi too .

" Lakshmi , I'm so happy .

I didn't know whom to call .

You wouldn't believe that finally god has heard my prayers and gave me my child" Saraswathi went on rambling in her happiness that neither she could make a head or a tail .

Lakshmi quietly heard her out .

She had never seen Saraswathi this happy . The corners of Lakshmi's lips bent up at Saraswathi's contagious happiness .

" be careful of everything and everyone around you .

Someone might not be happy about this" Lakshmi kindly gave a reminder to Saraswathi .

Saraswathi went silent for a second and the smile on her face fell .

" yes , thank you" Saraswathi said as she understood whom she was referring to . She talked for a while before disconnecting the call .

Rajputs mansion was filled with happiness while Lakshmi's maternal home was filled gloominess .

" let's go now .

No more discussion ." Hari said sternly and left from there while his PA helped him with the wheel chair .

All of them got into the car and drove for a couple of hours before reaching the farm house .

Amala held on to the wheel chair and she pushed it forward as tej and Mona followed behind them .

Lakshmi and Arjun were playing chess while facing each other . One who might see them might assume that it is a couple playing for fun, but only those two who are playing knows that it was a game of war.

One wrong step

You lose.

This was what Lakshmi's family saw when they arrived. It looked like a husband and wife playing a game in their free time in a good weather.

As soon as they entered, Lakshmi turned her head over in a millisecond and saw her father. She straightened her posture and then got down the couch while keeping down the chess table behind the couch.

" hi Nanna " she called out sweetly with a smile and held her mom's hand while helping her father onto the couch.

Arjun too helped Lakshmi's father on to the couch and served him a glass of water followed by Amala.

" beta, come back home.

Tej was too immature back then..

He accepted his fault.

Tej... " Hari called out to his son and tej turned his head away.

" TEJ! " Hari screamed at his son looking at his reluctant face.

" why should I apologize?!

She has a share then so do I!

It's all a business..." he said as he turned his face to a side. He still couldn't dare to see his own eldest sister's face.

Hari pointed at his son as anger rose within him and his hand shivered.

" Hari Hari wait wait

Cool down. Don't stress.

It ain't good.

I will talk to him..." Amala said from a side.

" tej

It's not right for you to do so beta

She is your eldest sister.

When we were in trouble, she was the one who helped us out.

Otherwise, we couldn't even have dreamt of having these peaceful days" Amala said trying to make her son realize.....

" no mom

Please stop.

She might have helped us but that doesn't mean that she could take over the entire business " tej said angrily.

" tej, akka didn't buy shares like you.

She just helped us to get us out of our predicament and took a stand in position for our father. " mona tried to put a sense in her little brother's head.

"stop it akka..

U don't know what she has done .

She has removed all the older ones who used to work in our business and replaced them with her own men. She said that those men were her friends . But do their efficiency any where resemble mediocrity? They are professional !

She held our business in her tight grip. " tej yelled back at his parents .

" shut up !" Hari shouted again and he turned red with anger .

The atmosphere went tense and Lakshmi spoke softly while breaking the silence .

" tej , all you wanted was the company .

I have given it to you .

If you feel that the people I have appointed in our business are a hindrance to you , then I shall remove them" Lakshmi said and she called Antonio immediately.

" resign" she said and that was more than enough .

Within 2 mins , more than 75 resignation letters have been placed on the secretary's table , which are to be handed over to the CEO .

" it's all done brother ,

Why are you fussing over such a small thing ?

I have already transferred my part of shares to all three of you equally .

You don't have to worry .

As you have said ,

What is the need for me to work when I have a rich husband and a household.... Right ?" Lakshmi said as she placed plates over the table .

Arjun gazed at his wife silently before smiling .

' there is going to be a good play' he thought.....

One might not know Lakshmi's psychotic behaviour better than him....

Maybe he is more psychotic than her .

( well , time will tell us.....)

All of them were eating quietly when Amala spoke up again .

" beta , don't keep this in your mind .

Don't let this affect your siblings relationship.....

They are your siblings only....

Tomorrow , it's going to be your brother who is going to stand behind you and support you." Amala said and she was shocked internally when she saw her daughter gaze at her with cold and detached orbs .

' what is the use of these sugar coated words' Arjun thought looking at his wife's interaction with her family . If her own brother can snatch something so small from her , how can she trust him and face forward while standing in front of her brother....

Wouldn't her own brother stab her back quietly ?

" Amma , leave it now .

It's what he deserves

It's what he owns

I never care about these small things" Lakshmi said while everyone thought that Lakshmi has settled down her grudge . Though none has seen it , but Arjun caught on to the word ' small things' .

If this business is considered small .

Than what is considered big ?

Is she still hiding something more ?

He thought while looking at his wife's lithe form .

They stayed for a couple of hours before leaving .

Hari was reluctant to leave his daughter . Especially with Arjun .

As soon as they left , Lakshmi sat back in the chair in balcony . Arjun too sat beside her in another chair as they watched the twilight....

Lakshmi heard small footsteps behind her and she stayed still for moment before calling out

" come out" she said softly and kids came out and stood in front of her .

Noor quickly climbed on to her mother's lap with the fear that her big sister will occupy the place .

But her big sister is too busy with laddoos in her hand which her grandma bought for her .

" how do you feel seeing your grandfather not asking your uncle and aunt to give back their shares to your mom ?" Lakshmi asked quietly to her kids .

Cold breeze blew by and creases formed on kids foreheads as they thought about it .

Arjun didn't meddle in their conversation as he sat quietly aside .

He wants to see how would their children respond .

He knew from the start that their kids weren't normal .

But he still didn't understand how his kids are like this....

" mumma

It's not ours" Abhimanyu said and most of the kids nodded .

Lakshmi stayed quiet .

" mumma

It's not yours from the start" Neelu said and everyone nodded .

Thought it might be a bitter truth , but that was the fact .

" I asked how did you feel" Lakshmi asked again and everyone stayed quite for a minute .

Some of them stayed quite will some said that they were angry at their grandpa .

" I feel pity" Neelu said and Lakshmi looked at her with her sharp and narrowed eyes .

Neelu smiled brilliantly , portraying the same innocence like that of previous Lakshmi....

But the words she spoke had an ulterior meaning.....

" they are going to feel bad soon " Neelu said again and this time Lakshmi smiled....

A smiled filled with craziness .

Arjun stared blankly at his wife and his children . To be frank , he stared more at his daughter whom he thought was the only normal one among all his children .

Turns out that his sons were 'more' normal compared to his daughter .

All he can do was to support his wife in doing whatever she is doing...

He too wants to see ,

to what extent she can trouble her own family...
