Lakshmi woke up in the evening as her headached. She left her room and entered the kids room to find them sleeping. She slowly closed the door and went back inside her room.

She changed into a Maxi dress , wore a black mask with goggles, tied her hair back with a scrunchie. She opened the mini fridge in her room and stuffed a few bottles into her bag.

After renting a Gear cycle from the reception (which has been arranged for nature activities stuff), she paddled herself against the air as it hit her face.

Cold and fresh with an scent of morning dew and nature.

She looked around at the greenery as the ride continued for an hour before it came to a stop in the fields. She hardly had any sweat as it was cold enough here. But her cheeks flushed red from the cold air.

She looked around at the green fields as she walked in between them while touching the soft leaves while rustling through her fingers...

She sat down on the ridge in between the fields as she opened the bag and then took out a bottle. She looked at the black glass bottle and then held to her heart.

" let me forget for once and for all " she said as she looked down at the bottle of alcohol that she detested before.... But now she came here to find her solemn peace in this rotten piece of shit.

She laughed loudly and then opened the bottle. She gulped in mouthful and then spit it out as soon as the bitter taste touched her taste buds....

She lifted the bottle again but this time she took in a sip and then another sip followed by another sip.

" boss

Madam is consuming alcohol " Vardhan said from afar from being a banyan tree, while observing his boss's wife.

Lakshmi was already swinging with bottle as she held on it like it's her life saving drug. She looked to her left and then looked to her right and then started walking to her left into the wet mud .

Her legs sank into the cold mud as she giggled making vardhan sweat. He was mentally praying for his boss to arrive soon.

As soon as Arjun followed the gps and arrived within a couple of minutes, Lakshmi has already completed a huge bottle and she started another one as she jumped in the mud and crushed the crops underneath.

Arjun saw this and ran towards her quickly and pulled her out while lakshmi wailed, wriggling her hands in the air.

He pulled her near the car as she stood there quite...feeling tipsy. He took out a bottle of water and poured it over her feet as he removed her muddy shoes and threw it away.

He made her sit in the car and buckled her up. He saw how she was looking at him with her wide eyes keenly. He almost went into a trance seeing that innocent expression...as if it was 6 years back... The same way she looked at him....every time....

He drove away along with her to the hotel as vardhan followed from behind. He made her wear her mask and goggles and then hooked her hand to his as he walked towards the elevator.

He took her to his suite as he didn't want anyone to see her like this. Especially their children. After laying her on the couch in his room. He brought a bucket of water and a towel. He cleaned her feet uptil her calfs and then her face and hands slowly. Making sure that she is neat and clean....

Because he still remembers that she has Allergic Rhinitis .

" you look... Look so good " lakshmi blurted as she watched the man infront of her who is taking care of her.

Arjun's hands paused for a moment before he went inside the washroom with the bucket to discard it. There was a tiny bit of blush on his cheeks.

By the time he returned he found her near the fridge and he shut the fridge door making her swing to the other side feeling tipsy as she held another opened bottle in her hand.

She giggled on his face and then went towards the bed.

" p...put songs! " she said as she burped . She was about to drink when the bottle from her hand vanished. She blinked her eyes and then searched under the pillow, bedsheet and then under the bed.

Arjun almost laughed seeing her searching around with her wide open eyes under the flower vase and his phone too.

" this...juice....gone ?" He heard her almost questioning... which made him laugh at her . Juice ? Only his wife will call alcohol as juice .

" maybe it doesn't want you to drink it" Arjun said but as soon as he saw her crying , he was shocked .

" every...everything....gone" as soon as he heard those words , it pained him .

Does it hurt her so much that she didn't even step back to drink something she hates to death ?

Does it pain her so much ? Of course it will.....

He looked down at the bottle behind the foot of the bed .

" I'm still here right ?

I'm here with you hmm" he said slowly as he looked into her sad eyes .

He saw her raising her both hands towards him and touched his face with her soft palms . He saw her staring into his eyes and he was flustered thinking that the alcohol effect on she her system decreased . He was ready to move away but stopped as soon as he heard her speaking .

" y...you are soo good"

"Who a...are you ?" She asked softly while burping lightly once again but still looking at him in the eyes.

" I'm your" Arjun stopped .

Husband ? Was he really her husband ?

Maybe he was on the paper.....

He mocked himself while smiling gloomily...

" a....are you my f...father ?" Lakshmi asked almost making Arjun choke himself to death .

Father ? In which way !

He ain't that old !

" b...but father always sh...shaves" she said while gripping his beard .

" b...brother ? But you a...are large !

Big like....um...

Godzilla !" Lakshmi said after tapping her chin for a couple of seconds which made Arjun to numbly stare at his wonderful wife from whose mouth he heard the same animal the second time .

He felt.... a little happy ?

"t....then who are you ?" She asked slowly while looking at Arjun . He saw her tipsy state and sighed . " little wifey , if I say that I'm your husband ?" Arjun said while touching her cheek with his large palm making her lean on it . It made him more happy and his mood brightened up . He was scared that after hearing that , she would remember everything and run away from him....

" oh... s..so you are my b...big godzil....oops.....sorry

b...big husband" she said making Arjun laugh out . He loved it . He is feeling happy and content from within his heart after a long time....

" big husband" Lakshmi called out to him as she leaned forwards on to his sturdy torso . Feeling warm and safe . Arjun looked down at the woman who cuddled with him in his arms.... never in his dreams did he ever imagine that she would come on her own into his arms...

" Husband" Lakshmi called out slowly as she raised her head up and looked at his face with her doe like eyes . He pushed the unruly strands behind her ear as she stared at his thin lips .

He knew what those eyes meant....

He didn't want her to do something she might regret later, so he was about to stand up when she suddenly cuddled him around his waist with her legs interlocked at his back . He looked down to see her dress piled up at his front and her soft legs around his waist .

He looked at her face only to be captured by those pair of plump lips . She sucked his lower lip as she pushed herself more into him , making him groan .

He tried to control himself but he couldn't !

He held the back of her head and kissed her more tenderly and urgently . Their tongues intertwined with each other as his other hand traced around her waist slowly . As soon as she was out of oxygen , he parted from her lips while their foreheads touched and their eyes met with each other's .

"H...husband....

You...are s...so good...

I'm hap....happy" he heard her saying as she looked deep into his eyes....

He could see pain in her eyes... he knew that she was feeling the pain right now... but the alcohol made him her saviour whom she could depend upon , unaware of the fact that the pain was from him .

She held his shirt, unbuttoned the first two buttons but struck herself with the third one...

She pulled it hard and the button popped .

She stared at the button on the ground with wide eyes and then looked at her handsome husband who is staring at her face .

" sorry husband" he heard her saying softly , looking worried about the button . He pecked on her lips " it's okay dear" he said in his voice which turned raspy...

She hugged him and slowly started kissing his neck while Arjun's back straightened as goosebumps rose on his skin , feeling her lips on his neck as they trailed behind his ear and then she bit his ear as he inhaled sharply .

You wouldn't want it" he said controlling himself . He is hanging on a thread feeling her body pressed up on his....

" hu...husband" he heard her calling out to as he saw what she was doing . She removed her dress and moved on to him and his last straw broke .

He hugged her around her waist as he fell onto the bed along with her . He kissed her furiously as if complaining her...

complaining that she left him till now....

Arjun who was sleeping , felt a moment on the other side of the bed . He opened his eyes and looked at his wife's bare upper body as she looked at the sheet in her lap with her hands on her forehead . He looked at the hickeys he left from the previous night, of which a few of them turned light blue....

Before he could assess the situation , Lakshmi already stood up unsteadily from the bed as she held on to the thin inner sheets of the bed sheet around her body .

She looked at Arjun who was looking at her and noticed that he was naked under the sheets .

She didn't speak a word as she wore her inners and dressed up calmly but as fast as she can under sheet .

She can't blame him though she very much wanted to because she remembers that it was her who did everything while he tried to stop .

Was she really that much of a thirsty bitch ?

She scolded herself while her head still ached . Well, she thought that it was better than waking up with an unknown man...

She promised herself that she would never ever touch those bottles again.

She left the room before Arjun could say a word .

It doesn't matter .

He at least hoped that she would fight with him.... In that way he could at least know if she cared a little about this...about them....

She took her bag which was near the door and left while searching her phone in it . Arjun quickly put on his shirt and shorts as he followed behind her quietly .

As soon as Lakshmi reached her room , she locked the door and saw that kids were still sleeping , as Saraswathi was laid on the couch beside the bed . She was shocked to see her here but calmed herself in seconds .

Saraswathi soon woke up and washed her face in the washroom and came out into the hall to see Lakshmi talking on the phone . But when she heard Lakshmi asking for 'I-pill' she felt embarrassed .

Saraswathi cleared her throat as Lakshmi turned to her and cut the call .

" yesterday night kids couldn't find you . They were alone so I accompanied them for night" Saraswathi said and Lakshmi Lakshmi smiled nodding at her .

Saraswathi left the room as Lakshmi went for a bath .

She felt frustrated and dirty as she scrubbed her body hard enough to turn it red . She stepped out of washroom and changed into a saree while feeling uncomfortable between her legs . She sat down on the couch in the main hall .

She turned on her laptop and started working . As Rahul and Anu left for their honeymoon as soon as they got married , they booked the whole place for their family to stay a few days in Mussoorie before leaving , for a holiday as a gift from the newly weds .

Though Lakshmi would very much love this free holiday , but not if there are unwanted people who would turn her mood sour as soon as she sees their faces . The kids looked at their mom who was working , they neither anticipated nor asked their mom about her absence the previous night as they knew how to take care of themselves .

The door bell rang and Lakshmi received it . She looked at the huge pile of food on the tray which the waitress bought along with another lady who bought a cover . Lakshmi let them in as she took the pills from one of them . She helped them in setting up the table and served the kids as they both left .

They were all having breakfast together when she heard the door bell ring once again . She saw that it was her father and helped him inside the room . Hari looked at his grand children who were sitting on the table and eating quietly .

Among the kids , one bought plate , the other bought spoons , followed by dishes which they served to their grandpa one after one making Hari smile at them .

They silent atmosphere broke down into giggles and jokes with hari's presence making the ambience bright and cheerful .

As soon as the breakfast was over , Lakshmi looked at her kids who were busy and took the cover inside her room quietly without them noticing . She took in a pill and then hid the cover in between her clothes .

She came out of her room and looked at the silent main room .

" your friend took the kids out" Hari said looking at her daughter from his wheel chair . Lakshmi nodded sitting on the couch as her father strolled the wheel chair in front of her , facing her .

He held her small hands and looked at her cute fingers... his daughter's small fingers... making him feel nostalgic.... the way she used to hold his hand even if she was a teenager and never felt embarrassed about it....

" did you eat enough ?" He asked as he looked at his daughter .

" yes nanna" she said while looking at the wheels where his legs laid motionless.

" do you have something to say beta ?" He asked while looking at her .

" about what nanna ?" Lakshmi asked flustering,.. she could never hide anything from her father . He always reads her well and better than anyone .

" you don't have to trouble yourself . Tell me if you don't want to stay with them" Hari said making lakshmi's eyes go wide . She never thought that her father would say something like that... does it mean that her father knows ?

But how is it possible ? No one except for her in-laws family knew about it .

" your father knows it .

Don't hide it beta . How can I be happy when I knew what my daughter has been facing. Don't hide it beta . My heart aches so badly beta .

Lakshmi looked at her father . She....she never expected that her father knew about it.... she looked at that wrinkled face , seeing that her old man had held back his emotions trying to stay strong for both of them.... she choked on her saliva and held back her tears . She can't give him more pain , the torment and separation from past 6 years had left him like this....

Shall I come back to home ?

Can....can I take a divorce?" As soon as Lakshmi spilled out the last word , Hari immediately nodded his head .

" yes of course . Your old man can feed you and my grand kids . I will ask the lawyer to send the notice to them as soon as possible "

Lakshmi heard his tone which didn't have a little of contemplation .
