《To Be Loved By A Mikaelson | Hayley Marshal》Mr. Big Heart

Gabriel and Hayley walk hand and hand down the side walk idly chatting about everything but nothing at the same time.
"What was your childhood like?" Hayley peers up at him curiously. "Elijah had shown me from his point of view but there wasn't very much of you in it. Now that I think of it, you were only in small flashes as a teenager."
Gabriel avoids her eyes and sighs lowly when he realizes she wouldn't give this up. "Well I wasn't around a lot because I was married." He admitted.
Hayley gasps in surprise before barking out a laugh. "No way!"
"Have you ever heard of Tatia?" He looks down at her with a small smirk.
"Every once in a while I hear something about her from your brothers, why?" She narrows her eyes at him.
"I was married to her sister." He exhales as he remembers the crazy woman. "Never date a Petrova." He shudders.
"That bad?" She comments amused.
"She tried to get pregnant so many times but I just couldn't stomach the thought of a child with her." He seriously says. I
"Would you ever want children? I mean if Klaus can have them I assume you can." She nervously laughs.
"Only if it was with the right little wolf." He winks at her and begins waking away while she stands there absolutely shocked.
With her face bright red she runs after him. "What are you staring at?" She questions confused and follows his line of vision.
He points at a woman that was maybe in her early twenties and shivering on a bench while her young child cuddled up to her coat. They both looked malnourished and freezing. "She just gave her daughter her coat so that she wouldn't freeze."
When he begins to walk across the street Hayley grabs him arm in confusion. "What're you doing?"
"Just follow me." He says with a warm smile.
As they start getting closer to the woman and child they notice the mother tightening her arms around the child in a frightened way.
"We mean no harm." Gabriel assures her with a friendly smile.
The lady still looked wary but Gabriel ignored it. Taking off his jacket he slowly hands it to the woman and begins taking out his wallet.
"I-I can't accept this." The lady's bottom lip wobbles as she frantically shakes her head.

"Please, I have more than enough." He assures her.
Hayley steps up to introduce herself. "Hi I'm Hayley, how come you guys aren't staying in a warming shelter?" She says concerned.
"They're all full." The lady says in shame.
While Hayley talks to the woman Gabriel bends down to speak to the child. "Hello, I'm Gabriel."
"Hewo Briel." The little girl shyly waves.
"I have a present for you. But it has to be our secret." He whispers playfully.
She looks up to see her mother distracted and quickly nods her head. Gabriel slyly puts it in her hand and covers it.
"What is this?" The little girl questions dumb founded.
"Give it to your mommy when I'm gone okay? Promise." He holds out his pinky finger.
She slowly but surely hooks her tiny pinky with Gabriel's large one. "Pwomise." She whispers.
Gabriel stands up off of his knees and dusts his pants off.
"They'll let you stay there, I promise." Hayley swears as she gives the name of a small shelter not very known a few blocks down.
"It's time to go love." Gabriel says as he places his hand on her lower back and begins to lead them away.
"Gabriel I'm not done talking." She exclaims and tries to turn around but when the mother wasn't looking he speeds them behind a nearby building. "What is wrong with you!" She argues. "I was trying to help that woman and her child, god damn it Gabriel I know what it's like to be all alone and homeless. I was homeless I had no where to go and-"
Gabriel quickly places his lips on her slightly chapped ones and she slowly melts into the Kiss. Pulling away he simply whispers, "Watch."
Pulling her towards the edge of the road where they were still hidden they watch the little girl poke the mother's shoulder and animatedly talk.
The mother visibly gasps with tears in her eyes as she sees the money and looks around for the couple she had seen moments prior. She hugs the little girl and hurriedly picks her up walking in a different direction that Gabriel could only hope was a store or hotel.
"Why would you do that?" Hayley emotionally questions.
He smiles down at her short form and brushes a piece of hair out of her face. "Because I hope that if that was ever the mother of my child and my kid that someone would do the same for them."

"God damn Hormones." Hayley aggressively wipes her tears away and Gabriel laughs pulling her into his chest.
"Well I love your hormones." Gabriel kisses her forehead and that only makes her let out a sob. "Why are you so sad love?" He laughs a bit.
"I'm not sad! I'm happy!" She cries even more.
Gabriel's pulls back and kisses away her tears from her cheeks. "I think it's time we get some food in you."
"Me too." She blubbers.
Gabriel almost cooes but holds himself back for her sake. "Come on there's a Popeyes a few blocks away."
After Hayley finally calms her tears down they continue their walk down three blocks straight into Popeyes.
They get up to the cash register and Gabriel gently nudges her arm. "Order whatever you want, I'm paying."
"You don't have to pay." She immediately shakes her head.
"Of course I do, what do you take me for a barbarian?" He replies. "And besides, you didn't bring your wallet." He laughs.
She shoves him with a smile and turns towards the cashier who was smiling at the two. "I'll have a six piece tenders meal."
Hayley turns to Gabriel waiting for him to order and notices he's raising his eye brow at her in a 'really' manner.
Sighing he turns towards the cashier and says. "Make that a ten piece with large fries. Oh, and make the drink a large vanilla milk shake."
The cashier nods and finishes their order and Gabriel guides Hayley to a booth in the back.
"Why'd you change my order? Are we sharing?" Hayley questioned.
Gabriel shakes his head. "You're a pregnant wolf Hayley, I know you eat more than six pieces of chicken tenders."
Hayley looks down at the table blushing and Gabriel reaches out to grab her hand. "No ones judging you, especially not me. I absolutely adore the fact that you can eat a whole pizza to yourself."
Hayley throws her head back in laughter while Gabriel just gazes at her fondly.
After calming down Hayley speaks. "It's so crazy."
"What is?" He questions confused.
"A year ago I didn't even know you existed, I was scheming with a professor to find my family, I mean I thought Tyler Lockwood was hot!" She scrunches up her face in disgust.
"Tyler Lockwood really?" Gabriel muses unamused.
"Oh yeah." Hayley nods her head. "I stayed with him for a while in Mystic Falls."
He rolls his eyes in annoyance. "That pup is pathetic."
"Pup?" Hayley questions in humor.
"Mhm." He nods, a large smirk growing on his face. "He thought his wolf stood a chance against mine one night, he was about an inch away from death."
"What happened? I mean not that I'm saying you should've but why didn't you kill him?" She leans forward now intrigued.
Gabriel suddenly looks away uncomfortably and she pieces one and one together.
"Caroline?" She says and he wordlessly nods.
The worker brings a tray Of food to their table with a warm smile. "You two are such a cute couple, my husband use to bring me on cute little dates like this all the time." She gushes before wishing them well and going back to work.
"A date huh?" Hayley raises a brow with a wide smile.
"I guess so." Gabriel's smile matching her own. Patting the spot next to him he says, "Come sit over here."
"Why?" She asks confused.
"You're too far." He mock pouts.
Hayley rolls her eyes playfully and moves to the other side of the booth.
Gabriel puts his arm around her shoulder and pulls her closer. Nuzzling his face into her neck he mumbles, "God you're perfect."
Hayley just grins and starts to eat her food but Gabriel stays in the same exact spot, laying small kisses on her neck here and there making her squirm.
He runs his lips all the way up her neck to her jaw and groans. Hayley looks at him confused as to why he was groaning but laughs when she notices him trying to subtly shift his pants.
She holds the milkshake to his lips and he gladly takes a sip, giving her a sweet kiss afterwards in thanks.
"I wish we could stay like this forever." Gabriel sighs.
And at that exact moment his phone rung he threw his head back with a frustrated growl knowing he had jinxed himself.
