《Jade *COMPLETED*》Chapter 7

Jade POV
I shifted uncomfortably from the stares I was receiving from my family and the pack, including Paul. It has been a few hours since I came back from the moon pool to home. It also has been a few hours since everyone has eaten, and now were staring at me like a weirdo.
"So is someone going to talk or can I go?" I asked uneasily making everyone immediately protest. "Okay, okay! Jeez calm it, I just asked a simple question."
"And where would you go exactly Jade?" Jake asked making me sigh. "No, don't sigh on me. Where would you go? Especially now since it's raining." Damn you Jake.
"My bedroom," I answered making Dad chuckle lightly. "Look, if this is about last night, I am sorry that I disappeared like that without a reason. But as you can all see, there is nothing physically, emotionally or psychologically wrong with me. Although I think I ate some sand in my sleep."
"Where exactly did you go Jade? We couldn't find you anywhere on the beach?" Emily asked making me freeze.
"A cave that I found when I was diving once," I replied. It wasn't exactly a lie as I was in a cave, but I did not sleep there. I think I actually lost conscious from the power and magic of the Moon Pool. It was so strong that it made me faint. But now I wonder if there was someone with me in the pool, or I was already on the sandy part of the cave when I lost conscious.
"Since when do you dive?" Jake asked making me roll my eyes.
"Since when do you ask so many questions?" I asked making him growl. Seriously what is it with these people and them growling? Do they actually turn into giant wolves like I read about, or was it just a La Push thing?

"You really have no idea how worried we were about you Jade," Dad said making me look down at the ground and fiddle with my shirt. "We had to abandon our search for you because of the storm."
That caught my attention. "Storm? What storm?"
"The one last night," Embry answered. "Did you not hear or see it in the cave?"
I shook my head as I lied to them again. I knew exactly where the storm came from, and who created it. Me. I will have to contact the girls after this interrogation ends so that I can find out what is happening with them.
"I'm sorry but this is making me crazy," Leah suddenly spoke up making all of us look at her. "What is your problem with rain since you like the sea so much and love to swim?"
I blinked my eyes quickly when suddenly I felt something drop onto my skin. I saw a few drops of water on my hand that escaped from Jake's glass. My eyes widened as I rushed out of the room and went straight to the bathroom, locking the door quickly as my body transformed and I fell hard onto the floor. Damn you Jake!
"Jade!" I heard Paul's voice on the other side. "Jade are you alright? Jade?!"
"I'm fine, I'll be out in a few minutes," I replied as I grabbed a towel and started drying myself harshly.
Curse you Jake. Curse you to Dante's Inferno and back.
Paul POV
"Something is definitely going on with my imprint," I said making everyone nod. "No one reacts like that to a few drops of water."
"Maybe she's allergic to water?" Jared suggested making me scoff.

"She's a swimmer, if she was allergic to water she wouldn't be swimming," Jake replied making Jared raise his hands.
I heard the door of the bathroom open but Jade did not appear. I looked at the pack and Billy before getting up to see Jade on the phone with someone. Who's she talking to? Is it a friend? A boy?
I growled at the thought of my imprint talking to another boy when she said a female's name, Emma, making me relax.
I wonder who this Emma is and why is my imprint saying such weird things to do with the Moon.
"Do you understand anything she is talking about?" Jared asked making me sigh.
"No," I replied honestly.
But I'll find out.
