《Jade *COMPLETED*》Chapter 1

Jade POV
I stared at the red house that I called my family house, the house that I grew up in until I was nine and was sent away to Gold Coast. It has been over a few months since I have discovered that I was a mermaid, and only not long after, I received a call from Dad that he wants me to come back.
It has been over twenty hours since I have left the girls alone, left my Aunt, and left Gold Coast. After a small delay during the flight, I finally landed at Washington airport and took a cab heading for my house. My house. It's weird to call it that since I practically grew up in the Gold Coast.
Taking a deep breath, I knocked on the window of the wooden white door. I heard some commotion going on inside when the door opened to reveal a man with long black hair in a wheelchair. "Hi Dad."
"Jade!" Dad exclaimed happily as he came closer to me. I bent down and engulfed him into my arms. "It is so good to have back here, Jadie. You look like you had the time of your life with your Aunt."
I nodded in response making Dad chuckle as he rolled his wheels backwards making him go backwards and into the house. "Well come in, I'm sure everyone is going to be very excited about you coming back."
I entered the house and closed the door after me. Immediately the smell of wood, Chinese take out, male cologne and sweat. "Everyone?" I asked as I watched Dad pick up the take out containers and put them in the trash can.
"Yeah, it's bonfire night," Dad replied as he tried to tidy up the place. Sighing heavily, I went over and took everything from him and helped him clean up. After about an hour of cleaning and talking about my life in Gold Coast, of course not my mermaid life, the house was exceptionally tidy. "Now it looks like a family house!"

I laughed when I saw that Jake's door was closed. "Is Jake home? I haven't seen or heard him."
"He's out right now, but he'll be back, don't worry," Dad said with a reassuring smile. "Now go and settle in."
"It's good to be back with you Dad," I tell him as I lean down and hug him. "I missed you so much."
"I did too, my little Jadie, I did too," Dad said making me smile. "Now go."
Kissing Dad on the cheek, I took my luggage and went to the door that said 'Jade's'. I opened the door to reveal an aqua sea coloured room. In the corner of the room was my bed made out of oak. Next to it was a oak desk, in-front of my bed was a oak wardrobe for my clothes. And of course the window which gave me a perfect view of the forest surrounding the house.
I quickly unpacked and put everything away, with my personal belongings going in the nightstand. Surprisingly, night time came very quickly and soon I heard chatter outside the house. I changed into a long dark green sleeved shirt with high waisted jeans and black boots. I took a hoodie in case before coming out of the house and going outside to see Dad talking with very familiar people. I just forgot their names.
I looked around to see if I recognised anybody, and I did when I saw a very familiar looking face. "Jake!" I exclaimed happily catching everyone's attention, including the girl with the brown hair.
"JJ!" Jake yelled as I ran up to him and jumped into his awaiting arms. Jake lifted me up and twirled around making me laugh. "I can't believe your back. You're finally back. I missed you so much JJ."

"I missed you too, brother," I whispered only for Jake to hear.
I heard a cough and Jake immediately put me down, but he did not take his arm off of my shoulders. "Sorry, I just couldn't help myself."
"You never can," me and Dad commented making everyone chuckle.
"Billy, who's this?" The brown haired light skinned girl asked.
"Ah, everybody please meet my twin sister, Jade," Jakey said making me blush and put some of my hair behind my ear in embarrassment.
"Twin?!" I suddenly heard a lot of people, mostly the guys, and the girl next to us exclaim in shock.
Jeez what a shocker.

Jeffrey's a guy who's most certainly a heretic but likes to believe he's not. Like we all do. Though, being a villain, there are many do gooders that'd like to exchange a strong word— or rather fisticuffs with him. Doing the deeds of villains, he places his own strange lens of justice over it, all the while, being an absolute fool. How will Jeffrey fare against the might of the good? —————————— "You tryin' ta shill me heresy?" "Ye- I mean yesn't," That's absurd why would I shill heresy? I'm not a heretic godsdamnit! In a realm of heretics and apostles alike, what to do? Well, I'm not sure of that myself. Though I have a feeling joining a cult may not be the best action... "No way. Are we being clapped by the power of friendship?" "Indeed we are," Shite. NOTE: - Don't expect an overpowered main character, nor a weak character. Strength isn't a plot point. - This is mainly a comedy, so it ain't as dark as you think it'd be despite the numerous mentions of cultists, heretics and murder... - There isn't going to be any face slapping scenes.
