I woke up this morning and made me some breakfast I just made some eggs and bacon. Lias is at that age where he trying to eat table food so I fed him some eggs.

When we finished I put him in his playpen and while he played I looked through my social media to see what the move was but instead I seen I had a recent message.

I clicked on the persons profile to see who he was and while looking through his pictures I could have sworn I seen him somewhere and that he looked familiar.

I opened the message

I decided to text him back

After we finished texting I got up and started to clean the kitchen. It was gonna be a while before it was 4 o'clock so I was just gonna clean up a little bit.

While I was cleaning the kitchen Eli came in the house

"I could have sworn I took your keys" I said and he ignored me walking to the playpen and picking up Lias and playing with him

"What y'all getting into today ?" He asked

"Going to hang with a friend what you doing?" I asked

"Not shit chilling I thought I was gonna be able to hang with yo ass today" he said and I rolled my eyes

"Where yo girl at?" I asked him

"Somewhere minding hers" he said

I walked Over to where he was at and gave him a side hug

"Bring him and come in the room" I said and he did

We sat on the bed and played with Elias as he laughed and rolled over

"So who this friend you hanging wit?" He asked and I rolled my eyes

"His name Darien he esha big brother" I said and he shook his head

"What" I asked

"Nun man" he said and I responded with a whatever

"just be careful ma especially since my child gone be with you" he said and I nodded

"Hey can you stay the night with us tonight " I asked and he looked at me for a minute

"Why, what for" he asked

"Because I'm so lonely " I said and he shook his head

"You could have called Kota over here for that but I'll stay and since I'm staying my son not going wit you and dat nigga" he said and I agreed

"Aye tell me sum though what's up with you hanging wit all these niggas and shit" he asked and I laughed

"Because I miss having a man around I need a companion shit mad boring " I said and he shook his head

"You had me though but you didn't want that" he said

"Yea cause you cheated on me Eli I don't care if it was only head you still engaged in intercourse and on top of that you were so rude and mean to me why would I stay?" I asked

" Yea I understand that but if you love someone you don't give up that easily " he said

"I still love you, I love you soo fucking much but I'm not gonna sit around and look stupid while you doing you" I said and he didn't reply

We talked some more and I took a nap. When I got up I went and took a shower and got dressed. When finished I kissed Eli and Elias and called Darien telling him that I would meet him there instead of him coming to get me.

When I got to the restaurant I got a table and waited for like two minutes before I seen him walk in.

He looked around and I stood up and waved my hand.

He walked over and I gave him a hug. We order or drinks and food and started talking

"Who would have ever thought I would be sitting here with you especially because of how you used to turn me down when we was younger" I laughed

"That's because I was going through a lot and to be honest you wasn't my type back then" I said smiling

"Ohh so I'm you type now?" He asked

"I mean we here ain't we" I said and he smiled at me

"Ha ok ok I got you" he said drinking his coke

"So I seen esha earlier you know even tho we don't get alone I still stay in touch with my niece and nephew and she was telling me how she miss you and she was going through shit and acting off of jealousy back then" he said

" ok and I don't give a fuck" I said with a mug on my face

" look we were supposedly best friends and friends not supposed to be jealous of the other, and first off what was she jealous of was it money cause we was both with drug dealers and shit so what was her problem?" I said and he shrugged

"Look I'm just expressing what she asked me to tell you I feel like like y'all need to talk that out with each other can you do that?" He asked

"No" I said and he smirked

"Come in Ma show that you the bigger person y'all use to be tight" he said

"Well now I'm tight with Kota and forever will be" I said and he smirked

"Yo stubborn ass just talk to the girl and see where that go.. for me" he said with a little pout

"Fine but shit ain't gone be sweet" I said and he nodded

"Don't expect it to be but aye let's ride out and go somewhere else " he said and I nodded getting up. This went better than I thought it would
