I woke up this morning missing my son so much. I was bored as hell so I decided to put on some music and clean and finish unpacking

While cleaning my phone started ringing. It was an unknown number so I declined it but it called right back

"Hello" I answered

"Oh hey sorry I didn't answer the first time your names not save, what is your name" I asked and he chuckled through the phone

"I'm good ma I was calling to see if you were sober enough to go out with me for a little bit" he said and I smiled

"Yea sure let me get ready but I have to leave at about 4:30 though cause my son comes back at 5:00 " I said

"No problem meet me at Dave and busters" he said and I smirked

"Good first date choice " I said and he laughed a little

"Who said this was a date " he said and I rolled my eyes a little

"Ok well see you there for whatever you call this" I said then hung up

I went and took a shower and took care of my morning routine.

I ate a piece of toast to hold me over till it was time to eat cause my stomach was on ten

Once I got dressed I headed over to Dave and busters

When I got there He was waiting by his car

I took a second to look him over cause boy he was fine as fuck

I walked over to him and he reach out and gave me a hug

We both laughed and walked into Dave and busters and he paid and we went to play the games

We played for a while having fun and enjoying each other's company

We went to a table and sat down and ordered some food and started up conversation

"So last night you were telling me how you do hair and make up, tell me a little more" he said

"Well yea I do hair and makeup for a living I usually and mostly do it for movies and videos and sometimes for weddings or other little occasions I actually have a little business with my best friend, what about you" I asked

"I dibble and dabble in some of everything like I model a lil I'm on every social media platform trying to make a name for myself and right now I'm trying to make my own clothing line, and I'll also an activist for racial justice" he said and I smiled liking what I was hearing

"That's interesting me like" I said and we laughed

"Tell me about your little girl" I said and he nodded

"Well she was a twin but one didn't make it she didn't have enough nutrients " he said and I gave my condolences

"But yea she is the light of my life, she is two and bad as hell it she is a sweetheart hear I have a picture I can show you" he said pulling out his phone

"Well I have a 6 month old little boy who is literally my everything, umm his dad is very active in his life and we still close he's like my friend even though he pisses my off every time he open his mouth but yea that's it" I said and he nodded

We finished up talking and getting to know each other a little more then I headed home

When I got one I took a shower and put on some shorts and a bra and threw my hair up in a ponytail then resumed cleaning up

About two hours later Eli came knocking on the door and when I opened it he just looked at me

"Give me my babyyyy" I said taking him out Eli's arm and kissed him all over his face while he was sleep

I went and put him in his bed so he could sleep peacefully

I walked back in the living room and Eli was just sitting there

"Where yo happy go luck ass was at today" he asked and I rolled my eyes sitting beside him

"Boy like I said yesterday I'm a grown ass woman I can do what the hell I want to and not have to check in with nobody" I said with attitude and he just smirked

We went at this for about five minutes fighting for dominance

He then picked me up and laid me on the couch
