...."So? Who is the first Candidate?" Kyro questioned. Liz sighed as she put the file up.

"His name is Arthit Rojnapat. He's twenty-five-years-old. He works at a local elementary school teaching music to the children. He also paid us in full for three months of our services." Liz explained. She showed them the various pictures that were taken of him by their private investigator. Boy For Rent, at least their version of the business was not like the one in the past. No one was forced to become a Boy for Rent and all their clients, who came in were investigated thoroughly before they were in the running to become one of the few chosen for these services.

Several pictures had been provided of him. He had dark hair that fell just below his eyebrows, pale porcelain-like skin, a long nose, almond-shaped eyes, and every picture that was taken of him consisted of a cheerful smile.

"He seems happy. Why does he need a boy?" Badtz questioned while he read over Arthit's file, his wants and needs and all the specifics that came with purchasing this service specifically.

"Well, these were taken from his friends IG, a Byul Kim. They're quite close. She was also originally the holder of our ticket. Smile interviewed him a few days ago." Liz explained.

"Why does he need our services?"Kyro pressed this time.

"Cheating," Liz explained.

"His boyfriend cheated on him?" Badtz questioned.

"Girlfriend."

"He is aware that we only have males to rent. That's why it's called Boy For Rent." Kyro spoke up.

"He knows gender does not matter to him." Smile spoke up.

"Alright," Kyro spoke up with a nod.

"Let's find him the perfect boy." Smile spoke up before she played them the recording of her session with Arthit. After a moment they had all went into their heads to think of who would be perfect. They went through each file trying to find the perfect one each of them going through points and arguing about who they thought would be perfect for him.

Kyro was the last one to suggest a boy. There was a pensive look in his eyes as he shuffled through several files with purpose, knowing exactly who it was that he wanted to choose after reading Arthit's file.

He smiled as he found the file he was looking for.

"He'd be perfect."

"What?" Badtz questioned.

"No way!" Smile spoke up. However, Kyro turned to Liz there was a knowing look in both their eyes.

"I think it would be good."

"No way." Smile snapped.

"Why not?" Kyro questioned.

"He's a playboy! He doesn't take anything seriously!" Smile argued.

"She's right. I think we should go with someone else. Like Pin." Badtz suggested.

"I think the same." Smile said.

"I know you identify with Arthit Smile. He's shy, a bit insecure. He doesn't know his full potential..." Kyro said thinking of the old Smile.

"But it was Badtz Love that changed you... Just like Liz's Love did that for me." Kyro said to her.

"Yes. So what makes you think he needs HIM and not someone like Pin.. Or Two." Smile argued.

"Because. This isn't just for Arthit. It's for HIM too. Pin and Two are something else. "

"How are you so sure that he will accept so easily. You know how he is and why he came here in the first place." Badtz questioned Kyro.

"It's because he knows and understands perfectly that he's suggesting him," Liz says. Kyro smiles at Liz who reaches to take his hand. They both look at each other lovingly their own love story playing out in their head.

"Is he strong enough... to change him?" Smile questions in worry.

"We'll be here to guide them if they need it." Kyro assures her.

"Fine.." Smile says apprehensively. Badtz places a reassuring hand on Smile's shoulder and she sighs.

"So it's settled then." Kyro begins with a smirk.

"Kongpob Suthiluck is assigned to be the Boy of Arthit Rojanapat..." Kyro then places a picture of Arthtit beside Kongpob's. Immediately it was as though looking at Day and Night. Sun and Moon. It would be difficult but they all hoped that it would work out.

"So here it is. Our first official Boy For Rent VIP. Let's hope this is a successful deal and that our client is left satisfied..."

There was loud music playing inside the club. Bright lights, people dancing, the entire room seemed to be celebrating happily. What were they happy about? How many couples were on the dance floor? Arthit didn't know. He sat by the bar on his own. There was a drink in his hand which was continuously filled repeatedly by the bartender.

The image in his head would not leave him. His childhood friend Jay and his girlfriend Namtarn of five years in bed together. The look of surprise on both their faces was still there playing over and over. After they both got over the initial shock it wasn't Jay that confronted him but Namtarn.

"What did you honestly expect?" Namtarn asked Arthit coldly. She had the white bedsheet wrapped around her body as she got out of bed and walked over to him while Jay himself was putting on his clothes rather quickly.

"What did I expect?" Arthit questioned while trying his best not to cry in front of two people that he had thought he could trust.

"I expected my girlfriend to not cheat on me with my friend. I wanted to surprise you today before you came back from visiting your parents but I guess in the end I was the one that was surprised." Namtarn scoffed as she heard Arthit speak and she glared at him.

"I couldn't keep waiting for you Arthit. I'm so tired of doing this."

"You? Tired of this. Was I the one that forgot our anniversary? Was I the one that continuously complained about everything from how small my apartment is or how much money I'm making?" Arthit questioned. Suddenly it dawned on him how the signs had been there that something was wrong.

"I can't do this anymore Arthit. I tried. For us. You want tamed and boring. You're so predictable. All you do is routine. I'm so sick and tired of it all. I'm tired of you. Jay is much more exciting." Namtarn tells him.

Arthit sighs as he chugs down the whiskey down his throat. The burn does nothing to muffle the pain that he feels in his chest. Tears begin to fall down his eyes and his heart feels as though someone has sat on it and crushed it. The music that plays in the background, the people dancing, everything is muffled down by his heartache.

Arthit is too lost in his thoughts to notice someone coming to sit beside him.

"Arthit..." When he looks up he realizes that his friend Byul is beside him and he smiles bitterly. She was his best friend and the only person that he could think about calling. The look in her eyes is filled with concern and he feels more tears begin to fall from his eyes. Before long he is being hugged tightly in her arms as sobs escape his lips.

"It's okay. I promise things are going to be okay." She whispers to him.

"What do I do? What am I going to do?" He keeps whispering these words continuously as he cries. Byul rubs his back gently, trying her best to comfort him. She offers him a smile and shakes her head.

"There's no use crying about people like them." She tells him.

"Another drink. Tequila." Arthit tells the bartender.

"Make it two," Byul says with a sigh.

"Aren't you going to tell me that you told me so?" Arthit questioned Byul.

"No." She says to him when their shots are put in front of them. They both suck on a lime with some salt before downing their drink and wincing.

"That's P' Two's job not mine. He's the cynic when it comes to things like these, not me." Byul tells him. Arthit smiled bitterly and thanked the bartender when another drink was placed in front of him. More whiskey.

"You were against her too."

"I was. I didn't like the way she looked at you. She was also always trying to flirt with P'Two and Son when you weren't around." Arthit sighs and nods.

"I suppose she just wanted to find someone who could give her money... and excitement." Arthit smiled bitterly as he spoke. Byul laughed as while shaking her head.

"Jay's not that great. He's the one with the least money."

"You forgot me," Arthit tells her. While Jay did not have as much money as P'Two, Son or Byul. His parents were well off. They owned the company Ocean's electric and he was next in line to run it. The only reason why Arthit was able to hang out with them was because his mother had been Byul's nanny from the time they were eight years old.

"You?" Byul questioned. That's why Arthit loved her. She never saw people for their money rather for their personal value. What she called "Heart Value"

"I work as a music teacher."

"Don't you love it? Besides. You work with me." Byul offers him a smile.

"Of course I do. But... today I feel like I'm not deserving." Byul reaches to cup his cheek gently. She shakes her head at him.

"If there is someone that is not deserving it's them. You're going to fall in love one day and you're going to be happier than you have ever been." Byul tells him. Arthit feels tears in his eyes while listening to her say this to him.

"Thank you... But it doesn't feel that way to me now." He says to her bitterly.

"At least you have a choice." She whispers to him.

"What?" He asks confused. Byul smiles at him sadly. She takes a sip of her drink and sighs.

"Mai and Por are making me get engaged soon. They'll be back in town in two weeks."

"It's not P'Two?" Arthit questioned. He remembered that Byul and P'Two had been engaged for most of their life. Byul.

"No. Not since P'Tul framed P'Two for the drugs... Mai and Por only care about their reputation... not me." Arthit looked at Byul sadly for a moment and then Byul offered him a bright smile that didn't quite reach her eyes.

"I'll be okay. I have a plan." She offers him a smile and then motions him to come closer to her. When he does she pulls out a piece of paper.

"What's this?" Byul smiles at his question and urgest him to unfold it and read it.

"Byul... You're not..." Arthit began and Byul grinned.

"Of course I am."

"Who gave this to you?" Arthit questioned. Byul smirked.

"P'Two."

"And how did P'Two get this?" Arthit questioned. When Byul smirked again Arthit's eyes widened in realization.

"He works there. Of course! It's why he's always photographed with so many different and very rich women."

"Of course," Byul admitted.

"You two.... are trouble. The only sane people in our group are Son and I." Arthit tells her. Byul laughs.

"Anyway. I've already called and made an appointment next week on Friday." She tells him.

"You shouldn't beat yourself up about your situation either. There's always a way."

"You forget that Namtarn works with us too. She's the school counselor." Arthit tells her. Arthit could already see Namtarn being dropped off and picked up by Jay. He had been so stupid to introduce her to him. It had been at his birthday party the previous year that he had introduced them.

"Maybe you should use the services too. Or you can finally ask out P'Dante. He seems interested in you too." Byul tells him.

"I'm not interested in him," Arthit tells her. Was he interested in men? Of course, he was. Arthit didn't like labels, he simply fell in love with people and felt attracted to people. He had dated both men and women in the past but his first real and serious relationship had been Namtarn. He had never felt as heartbroken as he did now. He felt completely betrayed.

"I just got dumped and cheated on today. I'm going to need some time to get over this" He tells Byul.

"I understand. But think about it. Hiring someone isn't so bad either. Namtarn and Jay deserve to know that you can do so much better. P'Two guarantees that each man that works in that agency is handsome." Byul tells him with a smile. Arthit shakes his head.

"Another shot," Arthit says but Byul shakes her head.

"Let's go home. You can stay at my apartment today. I know you don't want to be alone today and you also wouldn't want Auntie to see you either." Byul tells him. He sighs and nods knowing that she's right. He stands up from where he is sitting after paying the tab and it's only when he takes a step that he realizes how much he's had to drink. Quickly Byul puts an arm around him to help him up and he smiles at her in thanks.

He doesn't know why he feels so tired. Byul calls a cab for them and sends a message to one of her people to come and pick up his car for him, she lets him know that the car will be outside her apartment in the morning as they get on the back of a taxi.

He rests his head on Byul's shoulder as tears sting his eyes once more. He shuts his eyes tightly to stop himself from crying. This is the way he drifts off to sleep...

Arthit doesn't know how he gets back to work that next Monday morning, nor does he know how he manages not to punch Jay when he shows up every afternoon after work to pick up Namtarn. He spends the entire week at Byul's apartment. He doesn't want to worry his mother. His mother lived in a comfortable home a couple of hours away from where both he and Byul lived.

She had just gotten married to Mr. Chen his University professor and the two were on their honeymoon. He would tell her later that he and Namtarn had broken up. In the meantime, he was staying away from his apartment. It did him good to live with someone else for the moment. P'Two had already given him an earful as well about people that used others.

Even though he had no money, unlike his friends. The fact that he was associated with P'Two, Son, and Byul; was enough for people to want to use him.

Sighing Arthit began putting away the instruments properly. He needed to finish tuning a few guitars and replacing the string on others. He was in the middle of putting away some drums when the door to his classroom opened. Arthit immediately tensed when he saw Namtarn on the other side; in her hands was a box.

"Is there anything you need?" He questioned.

"Actually yes," Namtarn spoke. She offered him a smile.

"I wanted to return your things. I don't want to keep anything that belongs to you." Arthit's heart clenched as he heard these words from her.

"I went to your apartment. I called you several times. But you weren't picking up." She spoke.

That's because I blocked your number...

"I'll make sure to gather your things for you," Arthit answered after a few moments. The fact that Namtarn was acting so nonchalant about what happened between them put things into perspective for Arthit as to where he had always stood in his relationship. Nowhere because to Namtarn, he meant nothing.

"Thank you. " She spoke to him. She didn't give him any more words after that, simply left after discarding the box on top of a piano. Arthit sighed as he headed towards the piano and took the box. There were a few jackets, some jewelry, pictures, things that he had given to Namtarn. It had all been so meaningless to her. Arthit would do the same. He had a lot of Namtarn's clothes a few of the gifts that she had given him but he knew that she would not want that back.

He didn't care about anything that Namtarn had given back to him. All that it made him feel was a bitter aftertaste of what he now realized, was not a real. At the time, when both he and Namtarn had applied to the same elementary school it seemed like a good idea. Back then he had been so in love with her.

Namtarn was a counselor at the school. She was good at her job and she was well-liked. It was a known fact that they were dating, now he also had to deal with people talking about their breakup too.

Forget about her Arthit. She's not worth it.

Once he was finally done cleaning up his classroom he quickly began to gather his things. He was on his way out the door when his phone began to ring. He picked it up when he realized that it was Byul.

"Hey."

"Arthit. Sorry to bother you but do you think you can go to my appointment at the agency" There was screaming heard in the background and honking causing Arthit to frown.

"Agency? What agency? Where are you?"

"I'm stuck in traffic."

"You crashed into me!" A man was shouting quite angrily.

"I'm on the phone you prick! It's not my fault you didn't see our turn signal. You were on your phone!" Byul shouted back.

"Byul...Do you need me to go pick you up? Is everything okay?" Arthit questioned in concern.

"I'm okay. Just... I was on my way back to school because I left the leaflet in my classroom. You have my spare key too. Go to the appointment for me you can take my spot." Byul spoke and Arthit realized that the agency that Byul was talking about was Boy For Rent.

"I told you I didn't want to do those things. What would I need to rent a person for?"

"To get back at that harpy. Don't forget we are having that annual Christmas party at work that we need to attend. I can't go as your plus one I have to put my own plan to get rid of my parents into motion and you said so yourself that you don't want to try with P'Dante either."

Arthit bit the inside of his cheek. He knew that Byul was right to some extent. People were already gossiping about him and he knew that Namtarn would most likely bring Jay with her this year. There was no way to avoid it as they would also have to meet the man that was funding their school and it was important that all staff were there too. He would be humiliated if he came by himself. Not to mention Byul or Dante were too obvious.

"Arthit?" Byul questioned, it was only after a few moments of silence that he finally responded.

"I'll go."
