Eve gasped as she shot up from her slumber, looking around in a panic. Her chest moved quickly up and down as she looked around, her breathing calm as the birds chirped loudly in her ear. The sound of water flowing filled her atmosphere and she started to calm down before looking in the mirror that was across from her.
She was in a bedroom that was made out of logs, it being surrounded by trees and different plants. She was in a bed wrapped in silk white bed sheets. Her hair was out completely and her body was bare from clothing.
"Where am I?" She whispered as she looked around at the beautiful sight. Birds chirped and flew above her head over the open roof of the cozy room. They were exotic in color and sound and it made her smile.
"The sun compliments you."
Eve gasped and looked up to see the familiar older woman smiling down at her as she leaned against the door. She was completely naked still, her long locs blocking her most precious parts from Eve's view.
"What happened last night?" Eve asked. The woman smirked and walked toward her before slowly sitting on the bed and looking up at Eve through her lashes with her now golden eyes.
"You don't remember?" She asked. Eve shook her head and the older woman smiled before snapping her fingers, Eve immediately falling back onto the bed with her eyes closed.
The memories of last night came back to her, the taste of the woman's skin on her lips. She remembered sucking on her finger, before getting undressed and following her to the kitchen where the woman had supper.
She remembered eating the cooked meat ravishing it until there were only scraps left. The older woman watched with a pleasant face as she ate, before bringing the young woman for a bath filled with herbs and pink salt. She cleansed Eve, singing a sweet song in Latin as she rubbed her body down and kissed her skin.

The woman never kissed her lips, though. Eve couldn't help but desire it, which confused her. She was never attracted to women before, but she never had anything against it. It just wasn't her.
Until now.
"Do you remember now?" The woman asked. Eve opened her eyes and sat up before nodding, knowing that she didn't have anything to be afraid of anymore.
"Good. Up. We have stuff to do."
"Like what?" Eve asked as she stood from the bed. They both walked out of the bedroom and walked down the makeshift stairs made of pebbles and sticks down to the kitchen.
"Today I outta teach you what's goin on in here and why I haven't killed you. You're the only human I've spared." She chuckled. Eve didn't feel any fear, instead felt special as her face warmed up.
"I know you is a witch. Nun else to really say, right?" Eve-Marie asked as she sat down at the table.
"I ain't no witch, but I sure ain't human. Well..I used to be." She snickered as she handed Eve-Marie a plate. It had fried sweet plantains and fresh eggs that she knew were all natural.
"You caught these eggs yourself?"
"Sure did, I don't trust anyone when it comes to my food."
"Wait, so what I ate last night? It was good."
"Deer."
Eve-Marie looked up at the older woman who just laughed and rubbed her stomach, her loud laughter causing her erection to jump slightly, causing Eve Marie to stare unintentionally.
"Oh, naughty girl. Eyes up here. You don't even know my name."
"What is it? Satan?" Eve asked causing the woman to laugh harder.
"No but we do have a close relationship. My name is Baley." The older woman let out as she sat down.

"What? How you say that?"
"Bah-leh."
"Bah-leh." Eve repeated causing Baley to nod with a grin as she touched her chin. Eve fell into her touch, the woman's palm warm and comforting.
"So precious..whoever lost you lost a real gem." Baley breathed as she analyzed Eve's face. Eve blinked rapidly, confused by the woman's affectionate nature.
"Why am I so different?" Eve asked. Baley smiled at her before sitting back in her chair.
"You're like me."
"Huh?! You got the wrong one!" Eve hissed as she glared at the woman. Baley smirked and blinked, her eyes flickering red swiftly before turning gold again.
"I'll need you to watch your mouth toward me, that's one. And two, you really must not know where you come from."
"What rubbish you sayin right now? I was born a Christian and I stand by that. That's how my mama raised me."
"Ha! That wicked lady? And you call me a witch. That ain't your mama, girl. She was paid by your real mama to take care a you." Baley admitted, causing Eve-Marie to scoff as she stood up.
"That's a lie. Why you tryna trick me to be with you? What I have that you need?"
Baley stood up and walked upstairs, leaving Eve confused and flustered as her eyes trailed down the woman's bare back, her back muscles flexing causing Eve to swallow hard.
Baley walked back downstairs with a large book in her hand and smiled as she sat down.
"You were mine in our past life. We have work to finish in this life."
"What?! What type of foolery are you tellin me right now? First my mama, and then this. Come on." Eve exclaimed on the brink of tears.
Baley simply smirked before opening the photo album and pushing it over to the young woman who looked up at her, before looking down at the old book.
"Look..that's your real mom." Baley breathed as she stared at Eve while pointing down at the picture. She looked down and her eyes widened as she looked of the picture of a woman who was wrapped in green fabric. Her hair was as bright as Eve's, her eyes a deep green color as she stared into the camera.
There were other pictures of her, but a specific one stood out to Eve. It was her mother holding a candle and she was smirking into the camera, but her eyes weren't green anymore.
They were blood red. Just like Baley's.
