He studied her for a few moments then said, "You say the word and I'll stop."

She nodded. The boundaries had been drawn.

Then he reached out to tug her to him. Her hands went to his chest and before she could register it, his mouth was on hers again.

It felt like a whirlwind around them, encasing them in the touch and taste of each other. His tongue danced with hers and she groaned, loving how he made her feel. Awakening what had lay dormant. This is what she had been missing before.

Now that she'd had a taste she was needed more. Her hands raked through his soft hair as his mouth left hers to trail kisses to the edge of her jaw. She moaned as his mouth kissed her just below her ear. The touch sent a shiver through her.

"You like that," he murmured and she pulling him closer when he repeated the action.

His hand moved beneath her shirt to brush his thumb against her skin. The heat inside burned more deeply and she hung onto him, needing more. It wasn't enough, she needed more.

"Mad," she moaned against his lips.

"Tell me what you want Rae?" he asked softly, lifting his lips from hers to stare down at her.

She saw the intensity of the moment in his eyes.

"I need more..." She didn't know exactly what that was, all she knew was that she wanted him so badly she felt like she was going to combust if they stopped now.

His hands went to her hips and lifted her effortlessly, her legs wrapped around his waist. She kissed him as he carried her. She didn't even register the stairs or when he lay her down on a bed and then lay down beside her, all that mattered was what was happening between them.

His hair was a mess, his lips were a little red from the pressure of their kisses. He looked undone. She was the case, she liked the possessiveness she felt.

His hand thread through her hair when he kissed her again, his tongue traced the seam of her mouth before she opened her mouth. The feel of his other hand sliding beneath her top only registered when his fingers trailed against the cup of her bra.

It brought back to reality the experience he had compared to hers. And for the first time she felt out of her depth.

"Mad," she said, breathlessly.

He stopped and lifted his mouth from hers.

"I'm not as experienced as you," she managed to say.

He looked at her thoughtfully before he frowned. "How inexperienced?"

"Like none at all..." She watched his reaction.

"You're a virgin?" he asked, stunned.

She bit her lip and nodded slowly. She didn't want to stop him but she wasn't ready to do what he might want and she needed to make sure he knew that upfront. They had to be on the same page for her to leg go and enjoy what he was making her feel both emotionally and physically.

He slowly began to withdraw his hand but she stopped him. "I want you to... touch me."

He brushed his thumb across the skin of her stomach. "I want to but I don't want to push you further than you're comfortable with."

"I don't want to have sex," she blurted out, making sure there was no confusion that could lead to the situation escalating.

He nodded. "No sex. There are other ways to make you feel good."

She liked the idea of that. She swallowed as she held his gaze. This was new unchartered territory.

Her body began to relax. "I...don't think I'm ready to remove any clothing."

She was fearful that it would be deal breaker for him but he nodded.

"Do you trust me?"

She didn't trust many people but she trusted him. She nodded slowly.

"Lie back," he instructed.

She moved to lie back and he lay beside her. She was nervous but excited at the same time.

His hand rested on her stomach as he leaned to kiss her softly. While he deepened the kiss, his fingers brushed against her skin in the lightest touch as his hand moved a little higher.

"This is just us, Rae. If something makes you uncomfortable you to tell me."

"I will," she murmured as she felt his hand slide under her shirt and back up to her bra.

"You still with me," he asked and she nodded as his mouth brushed gently against hers.

But she was very aware of the movement of his hand against the cup of her bra.

Maddox kissed her and she clung to him as she rode the last of the tingling rushing through her leaving her sated and tired.

Only when she opened her eyes did she feel Maddox remove his hand gently. She felt oversensitive to any touch now.

Her eyes found his. "That was..."

He smiled down at her.

"I've never..." She was still trying to wrap her mind around what had just happened.

"You've never had a orgasm?" He seemed surprised.

"No." She shook her head.

She continued to lay on the bed, staring up to Maddox and watching his expression.

"You seem to know exactly what you're doing." Like before she didn't want to think about the girls he had done this with. He'd obviously had practice.

"I'm not a virgin Rae. I've been with girls before."

At no point had she ever thought that but it made her feel inexperience and it reminded of the differences between them. And again she didn't want to think of him doing what he had done to her with other girls.

She sat up and he sat beside her. She stood and did up her jeans.

"Rae," he said her name but she refused to turn around.

He came up behind her and she turned to face him. "What Mad?"

"I don't want you to regret what just happened. Doing that for you was the hottest thing I've ever experienced." The seductiveness of his voice and his expression made her feel a little less vulnerable and inexperienced.

"It wasn't good it was mind blowing." She revealed.
