3 months later...

The past couple of months have been great. I still live at Alex' apartment since he offered me to stay there as long as I needed.

He is truly the nicest person on the planet.

Not to mention, the best musician in the world.

The 'Arctic Monkeys' came out with their new album: "Suck it and See". A true masterpiece if you ask me.

I still haven't mentioned the kiss to him though. I mean... I don't really had to. Since he forgot the whole evening, and I said I did too.

Luckily, things haven't been akward. Wich makes sense, cause Al doesn't even remember what to be akward about.

After the release party of "Suck it and See", the monkeys decided to go on tour. First stop was in Stockholm - Sweden and the next day they went to Oslo - Norway.

The real deal was about a week later. They went to North America to begin their tour officially.

I joined them whenever I could. I loved seeing them perform. Alex has been becoming a bit more outgoing on stage. He isn't the shy singer anymore. And I am so glad he's getting more comfortable.

But most of the time, I was busy with work so I stayed here at Alex' apartment. It was quite empty without him. But I just had to make it work.

At first I was worried about how Alex was doing. Last time when we didn't see eachother for longer than a week, was when Brian and I went on a trip to America. He drank every night away. I got very worried when I found out.

He just doesn't like not seeing me.

And I don't like it either.

...

"Bella? Is that you?"

Alex smiled trough the screen.

"Yes you silly, who else would I be."

I roll my eyes while smiling.

"I am so glad to see your face again." Alex smiles. "The bloody time difference makes it almost impossible to facetime you."

"And yet, we always make things work."

I said smiling even more.

"I can't wait to have you in my arms again Bella. I have missed you lots." Alex looks serious.

"I have missed you to Al. But we'll see each other tomorrow again. Before I forget, how was America?" I ask

"It was wonderful, truly! But I like Sheffield a bit better." Alex laughed.

"I bet you do." I said

"June 10th... I'll be performing there again." Alex sighs happily.

"Well, then you've got 1 more week to mentally prepare yourself for that one." I smile

"I don't need to, I'd rather spent time with you that week." Alex smiles

"Aren't you adorable Al." I laugh

"I'll see you tomorrow, the flight is boarding." Alex said looking at the plain outside the window of the lounge he was in.

"Can't wait! Be safe." I smile

"Bye love." Alex says while ending the call.

Pfff I miss him.

Only 1 more night without him.

...

"Bella girl, you look amazing." Sarah says.

"Thank you so much! You look breathtaking." I mention.

My friends invited me that evening to have a little party. We haven't seen each other in quite a while, but I still have a lot of contact with them.

Sarah, has been my friend since primary school, and Louise and Mona have been our friends since middle school.

The four of us always have tons of fun, and we tell each other everything. I can't imagine a world without them.

We don't see each other that often, since we all moved to different towns. I stayed in Sheffield, while Sarah moved to London, and Louise and Mona both moved to Liverpool.

So once a month or so, we come together at our favourite pub here in Sheffield. Or when we feel like it, we go clubbing in London and we all stay the night at Sarah's.

Tonight we were in Sheffield.

Well... only Sarah, Louise had an internship in Paris, and Mona was 8 months pregnant.

Gosh times fly

"How have you been?" Sarah asks.

"Honestly great. I've been better than last time we met." I sigh

"Do you know what Brian is up to?" Sarah asks

"No, we haven't really spoken to each other after the break." I mention. "We once called each other, and both apologized for both our actions. But it's still for the best to stay separated." I sigh

"I know you loved him Bella, maybe you guys can still be friends?" Sarah said.

"That's right, it shouldn't be a problem right?" I light up a little.

"Why don't you call him and ask if he wants to join us here in the pub?" Sarah said.

"I mean, i could... should I?" I ask

"Yeah totally, it can't harm a thing." Sarah smiles.

"Okay let me call him." I smile.

...

"Hello ladies, how have you two been?" Brian sits down at the barstools.

"Great. How about you?" I smile

"Good, good... Bella?" He asks.

"Yes?"

"I know that I've hurt you, but I still really like being around you. Can we still be friends?" He looks in my eyes.

"Ofcourse Brian, that's a good idea." I smile.

We gave each other a hug

It feels nice knowing we forgave each other.

"So, how's Alex?" Sarah says while stirring in her malibu mix.

"He's amazing, he arrives in Sheffield tomorrow morning." I smile

Thinking about him makes me smile

"You know what? You two would make an amazing couple." Sarah looked excited.

Sarah wtf, My ex boyfriend sits next to me.

"Honestly, I was thinking the same thing." Brian says while smiling.

What?!

"You mean that Brian? We've been in a relationship for years, and you ship Alex and I all of a sudden?" I look confused.

"I know Alex, and I know how well he treats you. If you decide to date again, he would be a perfect candidate. I just want you to be happy." Brian smiles.

He means it

"Well, thanks guys. But Alex and I are bestfriends... it'll never work."

"Uhm sweetie, you and Brian we're bestfriends in college aswell, and look at the relationship that grew from that." Sarah mentions.

"She's right, and Alex and you see each other a lot. Something that broke us apart..." Brian looks down. "But we're better now, right?"

"Yes Brian, don't worry about it." I laugh

"So, Bel, do you like Alex?" Sarah asks.

"I do..." I say looking guilty.

"Then just go for it! Kiss the guy!" Sarah says excitedly.

"We already kissed Sarah, I don't know how to make a next move." I state

"YOU TWO KISSED?" Sarah looks shocked.

"Yes, we were drunk. But, he doesn't even remember the whole thing." I sigh

"Well that's fine, maybe you should tell him, and see what his reaction is. Then you'll know if he likes you or not." Brian said.

"That's isn't the worst idea Brian, I am proud of you." Sarah laughs

"Okay, i guess that's a smart move, I'll tell him tomorrow when he comes back home." I smile.

Maybe this could work.

Only if he likes me back.
