No matter how hard she tried, harshika could not conceal her smile, her elated heart and her spirit up body whenever her glance landed on raghavan who sitting near her in the sofa of his office room in the hospital.

Even there is single seat sofa on his office room, harshika chose to seat near him closely to feel his warmth and to be close to him. Her heart is screaming and jumping crazily whenever his hand brush hers unknowingly. Moreover, her reddened cheeks and chillness on her body, is not helping her in any way to suppress her emotions which are spinning wildly. Harshika licked her dried lips nervously as her mind exclaimed her to use this opportunity to know whether he loves her or not. Regardless of her mind command, her glance once again moved to his long and slender finger, which is typing something in his phone. She just wish to intertwined her fingers with his and lean on his shoulder like couples.

A crease formed on her forehead when raghavan paused his finger's movement. She jolted and jerked up her head and looked at him with widen eyes and shivering lips when she felt his gaze on her. Harshika blinked her eyes without knowing what to reply raghavan when he questioned her,

“ What happened, harshika ?. I have been noticing you for a long time. Why are you looking at me like this ?. Do you want to tell me something ?."

Unable to compensate his gaze which enslaves her heart spontaneously to him completely, harshika quickly lowered her head and replied raghavan in a meek tone,

“ No.”

Raghavan let out harsh breath and proceed his work on his phone after hearing harshika reply. Although raghavan tried to concentrate on his office work, still his mind is lingering on his wife. His wife. He feels an indescribable sense of peace and happiness in his heart whenever he utters the word “his wife”. Raghavan lived his life without any objection until he married harshika. Now his only goal is to keep his wife always happy. Just for her happiness, he was staying in study room for last two months with the intention that she should not feel disturb or sad due to his presence.

Even though raghavan being away from his wife in order not to disturb her in anyway, another reason for his deviation is guilt. Guilt is deeply engraved in raghavan heart since the day akash confess raghavan about his plans which he implemented to get harshika together with raghavan and how he made harshika come to the hotel room.

Since the day, he learned that truth that harshika didn't do anything to trap him or get his property and her situation was made her to compel with akash and made her to come hotel. The thought that he married harshika forcibly, due to misunderstanding and to fulfil his selfish desire, who is loving his younger brother, slowly torturing him and made him to hate himself.

His mind countless times advised him to apologize harshika and freed her from this relationship. However, his heart is not ready to agree with his mind because he makes her as his wife as per his wish, and she is living in his house as his wife as like he dreamed. He did not want to destroy his own dream that to keep her with him as his wife forever. Therefore, he was determined to keep her with him, even if she didn't like him.

Harshika who was unaware of any of raghavan's mental struggle, savouring every moment with him in her heart securely. Harshika eyes were shimmering with exhilaration as she looked at raghavan dreamingly. She narrowed her shimmering eyes as her mind again suggested her to use this opportunity to ask raghavan whether he loves her or not.

After plenty of consultations, as per her mind suggestion, harshika decided to use this opportunity to know about raghavan real feelings. As soon as harshika decided to clarify everything, a sweat formed on her forehead and palms, her lips once again dried in tension and coldness crept up her entire body. Harshika brushed her palms together to lessen the nervousness as she voiced out,

“Raghavan.”

Before harshika's voice could catch raghavan's attention, his attention was attracted by someone else's voice.

Harshika looked furiously and suspiciously at the girl who had come as a barrier to collapse their perfect time. However, the girl didn't even look up harshika even for a second. That girl entire concentration was embedded on raghavan as if harshika were not present there. Harshika was furious and raged to pull out that girl eye who was staring unblinkingly at her husband. Harshika eyes were exploding endless jealousy as she viewed raghavan who is got up in a swift second and went near her at the instant he heard her call. A wave of fear crashed through her when raghavan called out that girl name,

“ Maya.”

Harshika heart hammered against her chest hardly by seeing their eye-to-eye conversation. Harshika knows very well that maya is the name of Raghavan's ex-girlfriend. Moreover, raghavan weird behaviour, maya tear filled eyes and their shared eye gaze confirms harshika that the girl standing in front of her raghavan ex- lover maya. A fear spiked on her heart as she sized up maya from top to bottom. There is not even little bit resembles between her and maya. Maya has a beautiful hourglass figure, not like her plump body. Maya baby face making her to look young and attractive.

Harshika huffed and closed her eyes as she clenched her fists, unable to bear the fact that she was in no way compatible with maya. Even though maya was prettier than her, harshika was firmed in her decision that she should never degrade herself for anyone. Moreover, now she is raghavan wife. She has more rights on him than his beautiful ex- lover maya. Therefore, Harshika decides that no matter how beautiful Maya is than her, she should not give up her rights as his wife.

As a wife, it is her duty to save him from his past life when it bothers him. Therefore, she opened her eyes, thinking that she should not allow her husband to talk to maya who came back to disturb their peaceful life. Harshika called out her husband loudly in a way to stop his conversion with maya as she gets up from the chair.

“ Raghavan.”

Just as she thought, raghavan stopped his conversation with maya and looked back at her because of her loud voice. Today after two months, harshika sees anger on raghavan's face and some kind of hatred towards her. He glared at her enragingly and warned her in dangerous tone in the way to crush all her desires and expectations about their future.

“What ?. Can't you see that I'm speaking with someone else. Be silent.”

Due to his harsh words, tears began to pour out from her eyes like a waterfall as if it had been stored for days. She quickly lowered her head in order to hide her broken state from others glance. Harshika completely lost the strength to stand up and admitted her defeat as her legs and feet were turned cold due to raghavan harsh behaviour in front of his ex-lover. She sat quietly on the sofa without paying any attention to their conversation and their moving away silhouette.
