"Dreeeam" He teased.
"Geooorge?" I said. Quackity had just ended his stream, leaving George and me waiting in vc for him to undeafen.
"I found her Twitter."
"Who's?" I asked.
"Anja's."
"What?!"
"Yeah. I followed her and she followed back." He giggled. I scrambled to pull up his follows and find her.
"Are you an idiot? People will see you followed her."
"No, they won't. I followed her this morning. It's fine."
I searched up her name and her account was blowing up. Some good things were being said, a lot more were bad. "People are already talking about her. Unfollow her."
"No."
"Stop being a fucking creepy brat George and unfollow."
"Are you jealous, Dream?" He giggled.
"I'm no joking George. People are going to bother her and if Sapnap finds out he will lose his shit. Unfollow."
"Oh... she's trending." He admitted.
"YOU FUCKING IDIOT!" I refreshed my trending page and there she was. Keyword 'Anja' trending with more than 4 thousand tweets and 'WHO IS SHE' with over 7 thousand. Both kept climbing in number.
"I'll unfollow now."
"Too late. Damage is done. I'm gonna go talk to her." I pulled off my headphones and set them down. "Dumbass," I whispered to myself. I went to open my door when I heard music from across the hall. I peered into her room to see her playing on a guitar. Her room was finally set up, looking lived in. She had a pretty lilac comforter that she was sitting on. Up against her window, she had an electric piano set up, covered in music sheets. I listened to her for a few minutes while she sang before she noticed I was there.
"You know you can come in right?" Anja looked up at me then patted the bed.
"I didn't know you play the guitar." I said as I sat down with her.
"Started learning back in high school when I started taking music writing seriously."
"I've always wanted to learn."
"I can teach you if you want." She offered. "Here." She moved the guitar into my arms, taking my hands to put them in position. They were a lot smaller than mine. Pretty but rough with calluses. "This is C major, easiest one." She strung my fingers down to play. "See."

"Do you play anything else?" I asked.
"Piano, violin, and before we moved here I started learning the drums." She leaned back on the bed, holding herself up with her hands.
"That's crazy. You just do everything music huh."
"It is my passion," she smiled, "also don't press the string that ha-" I broke it.
"Holy shit I'm so sorry."
"No no no, it's okay. I needed new strings anyway. Oh god, you didn't cut your hand, right?" She threw the guitar to the side and grabbed my hands to look. I could see the worry on her face.
I closed my hands to hold hers. "I'm okay Anja. It didn't even hit me. Let me take you to the mall real quick so we can get you a replacement." I stood up and puller her with me.
"You don't have to, I can just order online." She grabbed her phone off her desk and her face immediately switched to shock. "What the hell? My Twitter is blowing up."
"Oh yeah. That's actually what I meant to talk to you about." She looked up at me in confusion. I continued. "Me and Sap-Nick. Me and Nick talked to our friend George about you and he found your Twitter. Some fans are a little... much and saw that he followed you."
"And now people are losing their shit. I've gained 10k followers in the past hour and over 100 dms."
"If I were you I would stay off your phone until it blows over." I stepped over to her and slowly pulled the phone from her hand until an idea popped into my head. "Unless... you want to take this opportunity to open a youtube account and drop music?" I suggested with a smirk.
"You're an idiot." She laughed and pushed her phone in my hand. "Let's just go to the mall and let this blow over."
----
We got to the mall and decided to stop for an early dinner in the food court. While eating we talked more about her possible youtube and music. "You know I've been thinking. I have been struggling to write my second verse in roadtrip cause nothing feels right. Why don't you feature with me? Write some of your own lines." She looked up at me in shock with a bit of excitement hidden in her lifted lip corner.

"Are you-"
"Yes, I'm serious. It could be a gateway. I'm also planning on release my stuff on Youtube. We could do it together."
"That's actually perfect cause I already wrote some lines, to be honest. They were meant for you but if you want me on the song I would love that." Her smile was so big. I could see perfect teeth and the sparkle in her eyes. I almost got lost looking at her until I noticed a group of people eating a few tables in front of me. There was a tall girl with bleach blonde hair that kept staring at me, but what really caught my eye was the 3 guys who were staring at Anja. All four pointing and laughing every once in a while.
Her face fell from a smile to concern because of my reaction. I leaned closer to her, "You don't know anyone in Orlando other than me and Nick, right?" She shooked her head no. "Ok. That's what I thought. I don't want to scare you but there is a group of people behind you that keep talking about you."
"They're probably just creeps." She whispered.
"Want me to go scare them off?"
"No. It's fine. Let's just go get the new string." As soon as she went to stand up, the group ahead did the same. I tried to subtly but quickly stand up and put Anja on my right side before they got to us.
"Anja Moore?" The blonde said. Anja leaned forward to look past my chest, her faced switched from worry to panic as she clenched my forearm.
"Sam. What are you...?" She asked.
"Hi babe, we're here on our first tour." A guy strolled past Sam and came to stand in front of Anja. Out of instinct, I put my hand up to stop him from getting closer to her. He looked up at me unimpressed. Was about 5'10, dark hair and tattoos cover everything but his pale face. He wasn't particularly good-looking.
"Jackson I asked you to not call me that." Anja responded in an annoyed tone.
"So this is that band?" I asked after I pieced everything together.
"emotionvoid. We're kind of blowing up right now. Too bad you aren't with us Anja." He said in a sarcastic manner that made my blood boil. I want to punch him.
"Clay, can we just leave?" She was still clenching me, but at some point, she moved her hands from my forearm to my palm.
"Leaving already?" Sam said. She walked closer to us. She was the same height as me in her heels and was clearly looking down on Anja in multiple ways. "We are performing tonight. Last club performance in Orlando before we go to Miami. You can't go cause you like 12 but you should totally go to the after-party. I'll text you the details." She had a sweet tone but every word she said felt like it was supposed to hurt.
After a moment she looked from Anja to me and pulled a big smile. She placed her hand on my bicep and leaned in. "You should also come. I think we could have some fun together." Her voice and touch made me shiver in the worst way possible. I pushed her off.
"We're leaving." I squeezed Anja's hand and pulled her away with me. Something about them just made her freeze. It hurt to see.
----
"Nick come on. Please! I don't want to go alone." I was walking down the stairs when I heard Anja complaining from Nick's door. I walked around the corner to him trying to close his door but she was stopping him with her body.
"I'm sorry AJ but I have a stream planned. I can't just blow it off. Now leave." He stressed as he tried to push her out of the way.
"Nick!" She whined. "Please."
"I don't get why you want to go anyway. They're all assholes to you. Just stay home."
"Because. It would be embarrassing if I didn't. They're successful and shit now. I would look like a pussy. Plus, I want to ask my they did it." She looked down at her feet.
"Stop pouting idiot I'm not-"
"I'll go with you." I cut off Nick.
Anja turned around with a big smile. "Really?"
"Yeah. You'll probably go no matter what and it might be fun so..."
"Great! Samantha texted me and said it's at 10. I'm gonna go shower." Then she skipped away to go upstairs with a smile on her face. As happy as she was, I was worried.
