《Music In My Heart - Dreamwastaken》It's Nice To Meet You

In the week following up to Sapnap moving, I had finished his room and decided to finish the home theater I wanted in the basement. Other than periodic streams and video editing, I needed something to distract myself from my nerves. I was so happy for Sapnap to come, but that was ruined quickly.

I was waiting for him in the luggage reclaim hoping to surprise him. I saw him walk through the doorway talking to a girl, laughing his ass off. Wow, he's trying hard to get laid. She was pretty. She had long black hair that fell down to her waist, full pink lips, a cute nose, and deep brown eyes that caught me staring. I immediately got flustered and switched to look away. I observed as they went separate ways to pick up their luggage.

"Nick!" I yelled after he grabbed his bag and turned in my direction. I immediately ran over and pulled him into a hug.

"Oh my god dude you're fucking tall. I thought the six-foot-three was a lie." He laughed out while squeezing me back.

When I stepped back from the hug, I noticed the girl from before standing next to Sapnap. She about the same height as him.

"Uh... hello? Who is this?" I pointed at her.

"This is AJ." He said as she gave a little wave. Her smile is cute.

"I thought AJ was a guy?" I was severely confused.

"AJ is short for Anja..." She said looking just as confused as I was.

We both turned to Sapnap as he played with his hat avoiding all eye contact.

"Why is your roommate here?"

"Well. You see. She... is moving in. With us." He stuttered out. What the fuck is he talking about?

"What?" I asked.

"Nick." She stepped forward and pulled his hat away from him forcing him to look at her. "You didn't tell him?" Anja said. I could feel her fuming but not as much as myself.

"I... uh... I thought you would like be okay with it and stuff cause like you have an extra room and yeh." He said softly.

I rolled my eyes and signed. I didn't want to ruin our move in or argue in public. "It's whatever. Let's leave."

We had just gotten off the plane and were heading to luggage reclaim while Nick and I joked about the shit we wanted to do in Orlando. He suggested Universal Studios while I argued that Disney would better. When we made it through the doorway I noticed a guy staring at me. He was freakishly tall, over six-foot easy. He's kinda cute. He had fluffy blond hair and bright green eyes. As soon as we made eye contact, he panicked and looked away. That was weird.

For first impressions it was bad. He pulled Nick into a hug, ignoring me. He got pissed off at me because of a misunderstanding caused by Nick. On the way out of the airport, he'd let every door shut in front of me while he would happily holding it for Nick or strangers.

We got to the parking garage of the airport where he left his car. It was a nice black BMW that looked brand new. It reminded me of my Opa's car in Germany. Dream immediately got in the driver's seat and ignored me asking him to open the trunk, forcing me to open it by hand.

"Don't worry A, I got it." Nick said.

"Why did you lie to me?" I whispered to him.

"I'm sorry. I thought he would be okay with you coming."

"Whatever. I'm getting in the car." I uttered.

I jumped into the backseat to find Dream staring at me in the rearview mirror.

"What?" I asked harshly.

He just looked away in silence and turned on the car. Nick got in the passenger seat and we left for the house.

"It makes sense now why there were so many boxes now. Damn, and the boxes of panties make even more sense too." Dream said.

"Why were you going through our stuff?" I barked.

He looked back at me in the mirror again. "Don't worry princess. I was just unpacking his stuff. I stopped when I found your box of clothes." He had a smug smile. I've decided, he's an asshole.

"Backpfeifengesicht."

"What the hell does that mean?" He whined.

"Be nice AJ," Nick said. "Also Dream focus on the road."

"Just call me Clay now. It's kinda awkward for us to call each other by our online names. Especially if we are in public."

For the rest of the ride, I sat in the back quietly while the two boys talked their asses off. Clay didn't seem upset with Nick anymore, but I could the annoyance radiating off him every time we made eye contact in his mirror. Why the fuck does he keep looking at me?

Eventually, we pulled into the long driveway of a cream house. It was big compared to the others in the neighborhood. Stood two stories with a large front door, large windows, and a two-car garage. He had a beautiful green front yard with the sprinklers on. How did he pay for this?

Nick and I grabbed our bags from the trunk and followed Clay inside the front door. It was surprisingly clean. The entrance led into the living room. It had a large flat screen screwed into the wall with floor-to-ceiling windows on either side. Opposite the tv's wall was his kitchen. I peaked in to see beautiful dark marble counters on top of dark mahogany cabinets and all new appliances. The furniture color-coordinated with each other and the walls. I was surprised.

Clay showed Nick to his new room on the ground floor. This door was down the hall that was across from the front door, behind the stairs. It was big. Light blue was walls and all new furniture. You could tell by the smell. I followed Clay back out and he pointed to the stairs.

"Your room is upstairs."

I followed him up to what looked like a guest room. It was completely filled with boxes of his merch.

"You can clear out the boxes and put them in the basement."

"Wow. Thanks." I said with a flat sarcastic tone.

"Your fault for inviting yourself here."

"I didn't-" He was gone before I could say anything. I let out a signed and decided to started clear off the bed so I could lay down. I might regret this.

----

Tuesday Nick was nice enough to help me move Clay's box to the basement from my room. Clay just sat and watched us. It seemed like he enjoyed watching me struggle, carrying his stuff down two flights of stairs. After I had finished clearing out the room I came to a cat lying on my bed.

"Ah, well hello." I cooed.

It was a small multicolored thing curled up in a ball enjoying my new empty room. I scooped her up into my hands and rubbed her chin. She's so sweet.

"I see you've met patches." I immediately jumped and turned around to see Clay leaning in my doorway, holding the top of the frame with his hand. Patches didn't like my reaction and decided she wanted to be let down. I obliged.

"Yeah." I said.

I watched as patched walked over to Clay and rubbed herself against him. He scooped her up and cradled her like a baby. His smile is cute. After a moment he set down to let her go find Nick. He looked back up at me, I noticed I was staring and quickly moved my eyes.

"Um." He cleared his throat. "I actually came here to talk to you. I wanted to apologize for how I acted yesterday. I talked to Nick and he explained that he lied to you about getting my permission so I shouldn't have assumed the worse of you."

"No, it's fine. I understand. It was a complicated situation."

He took a few steps toward me that caused me to step back in caution hitting the bed behind me. He extended his hand out to me and smiled. "Well... My name is Clay. It's nice to meet you. Thought I should give you a proper introduction since I was an asshole and didn't do it yesterday."

"Oh." He was finally being friendly, it was refreshing. I took his hand. It was rough and a lot larger than mine, but soft. It made me flustered to hold it. "Hi. My name is Anja."
