《A Love Like This.... ✔》#34-- One Last Time. ✔

We were hiding inside this luxurious apartment. Natasha's apartment.
Parth arranged a back up of police. Roy and I, hid behind the doors. Annie locked herself in the empty room of this apartment. She didn't want to face the drama but obviously she will be the first one to hit the bastard where the sun doesn't shine.
Natasha was sitting in the living room couch, pretending to read a magazine. She constantly checked the time on her wrist watch.
There was a strange kind of calmness in the air. Like the calm before the deadly storm. But there was also the thrill to this situation.
This happened in movies and books and those never ending cop shows. The drama that was created to catch the villain or the culprit of the story or movie. Who thought something like this would happen in real life? Who thought me and my friends will be a part of it? I thought my past was so intensely dramatic that I have passed the course of drama in my life already.
But here I am, in another drama, in another chapter of my life. You never know where life will lead you upto.
The doorbell rang.
Natasha looked up at us and nodded. We nodded back. A silent acceptance that the drama is going to begin.
Natasha kept the Cosmopolitan in the fancy wooden table and stood up. She ran her hands on her dress to smoothen the wrinkles and let out a deep sigh.
She went and looked through the peephole. Then she turned the doorknob and opened the door.
There stood the devil.
He was once again in his black suit and neatly gelled hair. His tie was in place and hands in his pockets. He wore his oh-so-glorious smile.
But... there was a difference. This is not the Michael Richards I know.
Yeah, from his appearance he is the same Michael Richards that I knew from college. His style and confidence defined him.
Now, the facade has fallen.
Behind the gentlemanly behaviour, stood the devil- the destroyer. That innocent, charming smile was nothing but evil. I was never so wrong in my life before. I fell for his facade.
"Hey doll." He said and smirked at Natasha.
I could feel the glare that Roy threw at him from beside me.
"I knew this guy had something wrong in him." Roy grumbled beside me. "And still you chose him over me to dance with at the ball." He pouts his lips childishly. I took the chance and pecked his lips. Who can resist such cuteness?

"Shh..." I whispered.
"So did you get the abortion done?" Michael asked Natasha in an uninterested tone.
"No." She mumbled.
"Why not?" He asked.
"Because I want this baby." She shrugged.
"Do you realize if you have this.." he points at her stomach and made a disgusting face, "..your career will be ruined?" He asked calmly.
"Why do you care?"
"Do whatever. I don't bloody care, as far as I get what I need."
Michael stood up and walked towards her. He held her roughly by her waist and sucked on her neck. He bit her dangerously drawing a trickle of blood. Natasha shut her eyes and sucked in a deep breath and let out a painful whimper.
This man is pathetic! He is an animal! He only uses her as a sex slave.
Natasha jerked and pushed him away.
"This is your baby. Accept it!" She shouted at him.
"Keep your voice down, bitch." He hissed.
"No! No, I won't. This is our baby. You don't have to give your name to this baby but atleast... atleast don't hate it." Natasha sobbed.
This is the first time that I saw her so heartbroken and sad. The bitchy facade was down and came up the broken woman that she really was.
Acceptance was a big deal for her. She was never accepted the way she was. She was way too intelligent. Her mother Megh wanted her to be in the fashion line. Her dreams were broken by her mother. Her father or more specifically our father had a totally different life with us. Our father was married to my mother and Natasha was a love child of Megh's and my father's. I know that man was a cheating bastard but his deeds are not Natasha's fault.
I truly felt bad for her. Okay, she wasn't the best person on planet but no one deserves this. No woman deserves to be treated so cruelly from a man.
"How can I be sure that that baby is mine? You're a slut. You sleep with everything that has a dick between his legs." Michael said casually. I was disgusted by his words. If I felt like this then how did Natasha feel?
"This is your baby, damnit. Why are you doing this to me?!" She screamed at him.

"I'm doing nothing!" He screamed back. "This was the plan all along. You were supposed to go and get aborted or better yet go and tell that this is Roy's seed. That will fuel my revenge further." He growled.
"You wanted revenge from Ashna! That was the reason all along." He completed.
"Why do you want revenge from her?" He asked her back.
"Its none of your business!" She hollared. "You're the one planning to ruin her! Her fashion empire!"
"Her empire?" He asked rhetorically and laughed humorlessly. "Yeah she expanded her empire but... It was mine! That freaking empire belongs to me!" He became red with anger surging through him.
His empire? His words were confusing me. What is he talking about? I asked myself.
"What's he saying?" Roy asked me in a whisper.
Parth looked at me in confusion as well. I just shrugged. Hell, I didn't know the answer myself.
"What do you mean?" Natasha asked the question that was on everyone's mind.
"Why will I tell you the reason?" He tilted his head and smirked evilly.
Natasha looked down for a while, thinking a plan probably.
"If you tell me the reason I might help you in this ..." she smirked. Her stance changed completely. "... I'll claim the baby being Roy's."
Michael laughed. "And why should I believe you? You already betrayed me once."
"Oh c'mon! I got carried away with the baby matters. I want my revenge from Ashna. If she and her company is doomed, I'll get Roy. Means I'll get all the Singhania property, estates and assets if I claim this baby to be his." She explained wisely. She was always intelligent. She persued her masters degree in economics. I know its hard to believe.
"I guess I can trust you for once. You're a total bitch. And a bitch stays a bitch." He said. Natasha's strategy worked.
She nodded.
"She started her business with my money. My wife- Hea, gave her money. Once she started flourishing in her business she kicked off Hea. More like manipulated Hea to hand over the power of attorney to her. Though Ashna was having more shares in the business, she somehow managed to get hold of the 100% shares and became the sole owner of 'Basic'." Michael completed his story.
Liar!
Hea, by her own choice gave up on the company and then I made a deal with Michael and as we know he became my media partner. Hea did this for him because his business was not flourishing and his man-ego would hurt if he asked help from his wife.
Hea gave up the power of attorney and 100% ownership to me so that Rogan can flourish his media business by merging with 'Basic'.
That bastard! He doesn't deserve Hea. He doesn't deserve anything good in his life.
At this moment, I decided to make my dramatic entrance in the scene.
"You bastard!" I screamed in anger.
"You're doomed, Richards." Parth said smirked.
"Lets get this over with. I'm hungry!" That's Roy.
"You bitch!" Rogan yelled at Natasha.
Natasha's eyes held deep sorrow for the man she loved. Michael. She finally learned to love but she loved the wrong man.
She smiled at me and I nodded. She also felt a kind of satisfaction that she finally choose the right path. Now she is certain that she can teach her child to follow the right path.
"I'll ruin you, Richards." I said menacingly.
He smirked. "This is not over yet."
In an instant, he was pointing a gun at me.
The gunshot echoed in the room.
I blinked....
I heard shrill screams, some more footsteps and warm arm wrapping around my shoulders as my cold body made contact with the marble floor.
An agonizing pain shot through my whole body. In my blurry vision I saw the police taking away Rogan.
"Ashna..."
"Ashu..."
Voices called out my name.
"Please God ,let her be okay."
Warm, red liquid was oozing out of my stomach.
Red! Every where it was red.
Sleep overtook my senses. My blurry vision turned to pure white as if I saw a glimpse of heaven.
And then... I blinked, again.
Roy.
One last time.
"Open your eyes!"
"Ashu....!!"

|Nanopunk |Crafting | Detailed Science and experiments | Inner thoughts | Bio-Robots | Evolution | Infodumps | Tell not Show | Insane to Sane | Slow and Detailed Pace | Puddle to Unknown | Artificial Intelligence | Trans-humanism | Bad Jokes | Moving 'Dungeon' Core | Hi! I am G00. I am a project made by some weirdo. Some may refer to me as the wobbly thing in the fridge or the slimy thing in the ceiling. Others might tell you about that sticky thing inside your nose. In the end, they called me the Seed of Life, yet didn’t tell me what I was supposed to become. Furthermore, it just happens that this stage was the most miserable place to reincarnate... Reincarnate as in… What the hell did I become?! (Whispers) You are a puddle. A puddle? (Whispers) Yes. C’mon little guy, say your lines! You’re live right now! Welcome to puddle-springs aka the afterlife of a puddle. CUT! Eh? Why?! No edition or photoshop needed?! We’re short on puddle-staff. The camera is broken, I am broken, and you are broken. Wait! How can a puddle be broken? You are not a puddle, you are frozen yogurt. NOOOOOOOOOO! Additional summary: Spoiler: Spoiler Humanity has finally made the second step towards space. Many developments were taking place at the time this happened. All of them accomplished thanks to nanotechnology. Inventions regarding Artificial Intelligence and nanorobotics created the opportunity, a way to terraform planets by sending nanorobots to space. Their orders? Colonizing and preparing the new worlds before humanity's arrival, aka terraforming. Meet G00, a weird agglomeration of nanomachines. A bit stupid, but it's not because he was like that. The little guy... 'He' is really broken. The hardest start of a story is when language is oddly misunderstood, when you know nothing of the place you just arrived; when your companion is a buggy system, and when you have to repair yourself with whatever trash you can scavenge from your surroundings. All of this while you fight your worst enemy: potatoes? What will you do in an unfamiliar circumstance where nothing is what it seems and where you won't even understand the boring ramblings of a confused main character? Well, patience will... probably have a reward? Additional tags and disclaimers: Read before starting the story: Harem: Not included for the moment, depends on characters added, votes by readers, and things that happen on the go. Magic: Far away chapters maybe... as part of high level or non-understandable things by science. Slice of life: Probably some parts will include it. Disclaimer #1: Crazy amount of content about high-tech info-dumps, slow pace, starts with biology and nanotechnology. Might have some weird jokes and puns. Game bugs are also possible. Disclaimer #2: No puddles were harmed during the making of this story. No character is real, no real puddle was used as part of the cast. Character is stupid at the start on purpose but he will get beta and beta. All written content follows a logical approach no matter how stupid it appears to be, maybe… Because it’s just a raccoon splashing some cotton-candy over a puddle after it was thrown. Yup, a bully raccoon with rabies or so it seems.
