《Undercover Gangleader》Chapter five

It's the middle of the day and I'm fucking killed out. That Hana girl is bouncing up and down constantly talking about her shopping trip, football players are hollering on about the game tonight, some are just glad to be getting out of this hell hole.... But that one girl.. Asher? She's seems to be just exactly as she was this morning. Joking every now and then, smiling with Hana, and mostly being distant towards me. "She doesn't like hanging out with guys."
"What?"
She smirks at me, which not a lot of girls do, and watches my lifted eyebrow carefully." I don't know if it's bothering you but I do notice a question that comes behind those a eyes of yours every time you look at her. If you're wondering why she's being so distant and hasn't talked to you, it's because she doesn't like hanging out with guys. Well it's more like she doesn't know how unless they're a cousin or very close friend already." She looks over at Asher, who's secretly reorganizing the bookshelf. I've only been around her for a day but it doesn't take long to notice she has a perfection problem." When we were little she was okay. Her parents were still together, she'd play with boys and crush on them. But something changed. Puberty I guess." Her cheeks flush a little and she avoids eye contact with me before going on." She started studying more- we both did- and she didn't seem to be interested in the whole dating thing. She won't even glance at a guy that will smile at her. Some people think she's just being a brat but really she's just afraid. She's afraid of falling in love and ruining her life."
"How does she think it'll ruin her life?" I really don't care but I know it's what I'm supposed to ask, it's what I have to do to make this act seem more convincing. All this talk about love is boring me too.I agree with Asher though. No dating. But that's probably the only thing we have in common I that department. I believe in no dating, only screwing, and I doubt she's even kissed before. She probably means no relations at all." Is she gay or something?" That'd be hot. I sneak a glance at the two of them and smirk when Hana isn't paying attention. I've watched to many adult films to be out in this situation.
"She believes that dating a guy will mess up her chance of having a good life. She believes he'll only come and mess things up. Like thinking he should come first before school and so on and so on. And no she's not gay.... I've already asked."
I nod a sneak a glance at the clock. Two more hours and I'll be away from these people but at that mundane house that I'd never thought about entering in a million years.
"So what about you? Are you dating anyone?"
I shake my head and lean back into my seat and stretch my legs out. The girl glances at me as her cheeks redden, and I smirk. Even as this depressing nerd look I still have that effect on girls. Well most of them. I glance over at the cheerleaders, who's are all snickering away as they bat their lashes at the jocks and wannabe thugs. I watch the boys in leather jacket and combat boots, who try to look tough- which they probably could be- but that could never amount to those of us who are in actual gangs. Those of us who are actual regular street fighters.

A chair is pulled out of a row of desks in front of us and dragged facing Hana. I look over to see its the girl Asher, who has a small smile on her face as she looks at the new bookshelf. All the books are arranged in colors, the darker shades of a particular color going to the lightest shade, then transferring to a different color with the same arrangement of shade. I fight the urge to smirk and say something about how ridiculous it is that someone could spend so much time on just a bookshelf. They're just books." Thanks for leaving me." Hana scowls at Asher, who wears a smirk.
"Paybacks a.. Female dog." She says back, and sticks out her tongue." That's for you going to leave me next period at art."
"But I thought you to were the inseparable best friends." I look over at the voice who spoke out, and to see its a lanky tall dude that sits a couple seats down from Asher. He has blonde hair, and a baggy Call Of Duty shirt on that is three times the size he needs. Everything about him shouts gamer geek, from the checkered black and white vans, to the black cardigan that had holes at the elbows. This the first time of me seeing him.
"Hello Daniel." Asher says coldly and crosses her arms." We were until your skilled fingers came into play- and don't take that perverted. I was talking about painting."
"I don't see how I have a play in this." He says and pulls up a chair beside Asher, who scoots closer to me by trying to get away from him. She squints to herself as she looks at me and Daniel.
"I am leaving." and with that she grabs her bag before going to the teachers desk, who's been gone for half the class period. We're supposed to be writing down the notes on her projected but since she forgot to turn it on, it's kind of hard to do so. Which is another thing I hate about this whole act thing. Nerd= good grades. Good grades= caring about grades. Caring about grades= doing the work. Doing the work doesn't equal me. I'd force a nerd to do it if I wasn't one of them.
Hana frowns at Asher as she leaves but it's not five seconds before she turns to the Daniel guy, and starts to smile. They begin to jabber in about things I can't even begin to understand, her usually blushing and stuttering while he jokes and touches her face. It's disgusting to say in the least. In the middle of their conversation, her phone dings and I look at her lap as she pulls out the phone and begins to read the message.
I smirk at the name above it and look over at Asher who's shooting lasers at Daniel. I look her over weirded out at how someone so innocent can glare at someone that deadly. Her eyes seem to hold nothing but danger and anger , something not even my gang members can do. Hana lets out a sigh and just turns off her phone before going back to talking to the kid. I sit there, having nothing to do for awhile, before I raise up and walk to Asher. She stays still, me going unnoticed, as she burns holes through the wall with her gaze." What did the wall ever do to you?"

"Nothing. But maybe if I keep warning it with my eyes then it won't stab me in the back and fall for a useless piece of meat."
"I wouldn't call him useless, well hot topic obviously wouldn't."
She snorts back a laugh and my eyes widen a fraction. No girl has ever done that in front of me. Especially considering how they're all mostly to afraid to mess their chance up of getting into my pants." Thanks. But I'm still mad at her."
"You'll get over it and forgive her. That's how it usually goes with girls." I get a flash of a face that I've grown to be disgusted by. Seraphine Snow. Every time I'd cheat on her, to try and make her leave, she'd always turn it around and say it was her fault and it wasn't two hours later until we were back in my bed. I once even left after and brought another girl, where we did it right in front of her, but she would always come back. The same thing will most likely happen with Asher and Hana. Hana will keep getting different guys but Asher will always forgive her. That's the stupid thing about friendship.
Her jaw tighten before she says," No I won't. Whatever sexist and stereotypical idea you have in your head about girls forgiving easily, if your going to be hanging out or even being near me, you better let that go. Because for me to forgive you, you better be sacrificing your first born child, making me a parade, and getting on the ground with your hands and knees. I'm not like most girls. I don't forgive and forget like those dumb girls on wattpad."
"Prove me wrong." Is all I say, this time me actually talking. I'd like to see this little nerd take up her words. She won't and I want to be there when she fails. But what in the hell is wattpad?
She looks me in the eyes and something flashes behind her eyes, as she smirks. I take in her blue eyes, dark brown hair, and delicate yet strong features. Deja vu goes through me as I look at her, and notice how she can look innocent and naive one minute but strong the next. Determination is shown on her face as she looks at me for the first time." Okay, there Mr.Sure of himself. I will. And I'll laugh in your face when I win this."
A sensation goes through me, the kind I get when I'm fighting or doing something I shouldn't. That's new.I smirk at her this time and say,"It's a bet then. You say..."
"That I won't forgive her until she's crying on her hands and knees, or by the end of the week on Friday. And you say?"
"You won't make it for three days, or you'll forgive her for a simple apology."
She smiles slightly and looks over at the class, who have been ease dropping for awhile, " Xavier, I'll take you on this bet. Even though it clearly isn't fair on you're part considering you've never meet my family. But before you agree on your side I'll give you a glimpse. My father used to work as a carpenter. One day while he was drilling into a roof, he fell from his latter. He broke three ribs, and got a nail stuck in his hand but he got back up and finished the roof before going to the hospital. My mother. She was pregnant with me and was having painful back pain when her water broke. She was so stubborn that she had me in her office while selling houses on the phone at the real estate she worked at. That's my family Xavier. So do you still want to make this bet?"
I squint down at her. There's no way that what she just told me was true. And if it was then I doubt she'd tell a near stranger that. She's just trying to scare me off." Yep."
"Okay. The bets on."
"Yep."
"Okay." She says getting annoyed for no apparent reason.
"Hmmhm."
She scowls at me before saying," No I always get the last word. So we got the bet. That's good. Okay?"
I smirk at her before saying," Okay."
She groans and whisper yells." This is not the Fault In Our Stars. So please stop with the okays. Okay?"
"Okay."
Her groans fill the room as we keep going back and forth until she begins to scoot my chair away from her with her legs." Stop. I get the last word. Now I'm going to leave. And the bet's still in by the way." And she raises up before stalking off to the bookshelf again. Probably noticing an imperfection and needing to fix it.
She glances my way, shooting death glares at me and I smile before mouthing "okay."
