《Big Brother》3; the big news

Its summer now, and it's been weeks since that dinner, and my mom told me that we're having another dinner, but this time at Michael's home.
I dressed in normal clothes: Skinny jeans, Cute sweater, and sneakers with crazy socks. I left my hair down in its normal wavy state.
Once we got there, Luke was there. He opened the door to let us in. Their house was huge! It was a three story that they paid off. Michael's room was on the first floor, the basement was half gym have mini movie theater where as the second story was 3 other bedrooms: a set of a Jack and Jill suite and a guest bedroom with a bathroom right next to it.
I've been in the house before, but when Luke wasn't here. He has the Jack and Jill suite all to himself.
Lately Luke would attempt to make conversation with me. But me being me, I would only stutter a bit. He would chuckle and leave it at that.
Me and my progress, am I right?
Michael said he had a big suprise for all of us, but we would have to wait until dinner.
After Michael and Luke finished bbqing, we went inside to eat. As we talked and laughed at the dinner table, Michael stood getting all of our attentions.
"Okay everyone, I have big news." He said with a huge grin on his face. He turned towards my mother and held a hand out to her.
She stood by his side.
"Amber, I am completely and totally in love with your mother. She makes me happy, and I love her so. This is why I would like to ask you, and Luke's, blessing"
Once I heard him say this I knew. And I was happy for him and my mother.

He got down on one knee and took a box out from his pocket.
"I love you so much, and I want to spend the rest of my life, my days, my minutes, my hours, and my seconds, with you. I can't imagine myself without you. So, will you please make me the happiest, no, luckiest man in the world, and marry me?"
My mother was already in tears she nodded and sobbed and threw her arms around Michael as they kissed and hugged.
I clapped. Luke was shocked to say the least. I'm not entirely sure if he was okay with yhis, but soon he smiled reassuringly towards his father.
But then it hit me.
If they're getting married........
"Well, I guess your my new little sister!" Luke laughed and nudged me. I laughed nervously.
