《A Fiery Love: A Charlie Weasley Love Story》Chapter 38: Somethings Wrong

One more week. I couldn't even pretend that I wasn't nervous about it, but those nerves quickly went away when I thought about how wonderful the rest of my life was going to be.
For some reason today my nerves were even worse than normal. It was as if they were trying to tell me something, but I couldn't figure out what. I decided to just shake them off and get started with my day. There was still so much to do before Charlie and I get married.
Charlie had to go into work early today. One of the Firebolts got a nasty virus and they were scared he would give it to the rest of the dragons. Charlie was exhausted from putting in so many hours so he could get two weeks off for our honeymoon. He really didn't need to take so much time off; we weren't going anywhere, but he said he wanted to be with me and only me.
I stood in the kitchen sipping on some orange juice lost in my thoughts. I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I didn't even hear the knock at the door.
"Izzy?" Said a rough voice. I jumped from the unexpected surprise.
"Jaden, hey! Sorry I wasn't even paying attention." I smiled seeing my brother let himself into the house.
"Didn't mean to scare you. I knocked, but you didn't answer and the door was unlocked." He shrugged his shoulders and put his hands in his pocket. That was strange Charlie always locked the door.
"It's alright. What's up?" I asked hopping onto the counter.
"Just wanted to see you." He smiled walking over towards me. "You nervous that it's next week?"
"A little more than usual." I answered truthfully. "My nerves usually only get me for a while, but these won't seem to go away."

"Maybe if you got out of this house and thought about something else for a change you wouldn't be so nervous!" He said nudging my leg with his foot. "Come on let's get out of here."
"Ok. Just let me get dressed." I smiled and walked to my room. I threw on a pair of jeans and a shirt really quick so I wouldn't keep him waiting.
Jaden didn't tell me where we were going, but I trusted him. I took a hold of him arm and we apparated.
We were standing in a strange yard. Trees were tall and ominous looking. The house behind us had a few broken windows, and you could tell it had been unoccupied for years. I had been here before, and I knew what was going to happen.
"Jaden why are we here?" I asked knowing I said the wrong name. "Or should I say Emily." I looked in her direction and her face was beginning to look like hers again.
"Well aren't you smart?" She said mocking me.
"What do you want?" I asked touching my wand in my back pocket. I turned my back to her so she wouldn't see what I was doing.
"For you to leave my family the fuck alone, you bitch!" She drew out her wand fast. "Reducto!”
Charlie's POV
"It's alright Boss! With this you'll be feeling better in no time." This Firebolt was going to burn me to a crisp if I didn't approach slowly.
Boss growled at me eyeing the syringe in my hand. He hated anything or anyone coming close to him, so me being even remotely near him was seriously pissing him off.
"I'm not going to hurt you." I said lying through my teeth. This shot was going to hurt like a bitch.

I finally was able to get close enough to stick him with the needle. He let out a howling wail and I booked it away from him.
"Giving you trouble there, Charlie?" Asked Adam a tall brown haired guy. His Irish accent was thick and at times I didn't know what he was saying.
"Yeah, but hey that's what happens when you work with dragons!" I said feeling the erg to flip him off.
"Well dragons won't be the only thing giving you trouble soon enough, am I right boy-o?" He chuckled a bit.
"Yeah I'd rather face a piss Firebolt than a pissed fiancé." I said laughing with him.
It was true. Izzy was pretty scary when she was mad. Just seeing her reaction about the whole Emily thing freaked me out a bit.
"You ready to have her all to yourself?" He said giving me a wink.
"You don't even know." I said thinking about Izzy and her teasing over the past few weeks.
"Don't worry this time next week you two will be inseparable, literally!" He let out a loud laugh. "Sorry, I just had to!"
"Yeah wel.."
"CHARLIE! CHARLIE!" I heard my name being called by a breathy voice. I turned to see Jaden running towards me with a panicked face.
"Izzy..." I whispered. I ran as fast as I could to him. "What's going on? Where is she?"
"I don't know!" He said trying to gather him thoughts. "Emily she put me under and and and I don't know Charlie."
"We have to find them." I said whipping out my wand.
Jaden grabbed a hold of my arm and we apparated to the house. I knew she wouldn't be there, but something inside me was praying she was.
"IZZY?!" I yelled pushing the door open.
No one was home. Paws was pacing around the house looking irritated. She was with Emily and I knew something was wrong.
