Emily's POV

1996

"You're sister would love this." Said dad Thanksgiving night.

"Why don't we invite her?" Jaden asked stupidly.

"Because she's not a part of our family that's why." I answered hoping my tone would come across as horrible as I said it.

"She is too! She's our sister." Jaden said on the verge of tears. "I wish she was here so I could have a nice sister!"

"That's enough." Mom said looking straight into my eyes.

"One day you'll meet her, I promise." Dad said looking down at the table.

"Yay!" Exclaimed Jaden.

"I never want to meet her." I got up from the table and walked out the door. The breeze was warm, and the stars were clear in the sky. The big Oak Tree in the yard was swaying as if it was inviting me in.

I was so fed up with Dad talking about this precious child of his. If he really even cared about her he would have done everything he could to keep her with him. Instead he was a coward. Fearing the person who was going to make the world a better place.

I wish my Uncle was still alive he would have understood my feelings and not treat me like I was a bad person. It wasn't me who was the one tearing my family apart. It was her! If I ever meet this little brat I'm definitely going to make sure she gets the point that she's not welcomed in my family, or maybe just get rid of her all together.

Present Day

The view you get from sitting in a tree is amazing. The feeling and adrenaline you get knowing how high from the ground you are is even better. I had been climbing up this tree for years. It helped me clear my mind when I felt like it was going to explode. I came up here the night before the battle to help me concentrate and get into focus.

I couldn't believe she actually came around. That little bitch! Who does she think she is? She should have just gotten the hint that nobody wants her and leave my family alone. My dad hasn't been the same since she came around. He's acting strange and talking about her wedding and how excited he is for her and Charlie or whatever the hell the gingers name is. Jaden was acting just as stupid. He'd been over to her house on several occasions, and it was seriously pissing me off.

Everyday that passed meant it got closer to the next time I would see her. I wish she would just disappear or even better die. I don't know how she can live with herself knowing she's fucked up my family. Didn't matter anyway; she was going to get what was coming to her.
