《A Fiery Love: A Charlie Weasley Love Story》Chapter 35: Three More Weeks

My dress was purple and form fitting. It went all the way down to the floor and had a super low back. I've worn this dress before, but that was a long time ago. A mirror was a cross from me, and my feet slowly dragged me towards it. My reflection looked the same as it did when I woke up this morning. Quietly footsteps came from behind me.
"You look beautiful." He said with his perfect smile. I could feel my cheeks redden as he looked me up and down through the mirror. His reflection was that of his seventeen year old self.
"You don't look too bad yourself Ced!" I couldn't even explain how gorgeous he looked in his dress robes. His golden brown hair was in perfect place, and his amazing smile looked perfect tonight.
He pulled me into his arms, and my head rested on his chest. His heart seemed to be racing, but slowly turned into a familiar beat that I loved so much. I knew who I was holding and that tugged on my heart. I looked up to see the pair of greenish blue eyes that I couldn't live without.
"I love you Izzy." Charlie's voice was soft but strong. "Dance with me." He pulled me closer and we both began sway. Everything Charlie did took my breath away.
'It's not going to be easy, but with him and all your friends you can do anything. I believe in you.'
Cedric's voice was loud and clear in my head. I knew what he was talking about, but this moment was too good to even think about that or her.
I woke up alone. Neither Paws nor Charlie was in the room. I got up and walked into the kitchen, but still no one was around. I walked back into the bedroom and grabbed my wand.

"Homenum Revelio." I normally wouldn't do this, but something wasn't right. There was no one in the house, not even my cat.
I flopped down on the couch in the living room hoping someone would come back soon. Maybe Charlie had to go to work, but he would have left a note or something. The real big question in my mind was where was Paws?
I stayed on the couch watching the ceiling. After what felt like hours I decided to make something to eat. I went to the kitchen and made a sandwich. I wasn't too hungry, but I knew I needed something to eat. I sat at the table alone silently munching on some tasty bologna and cheese.
"Where the hell is everyone?" I finally started to get frustrated. I jumped in the shower hoping the warm water would take my mind off being here alone.
When I got out Charlie was laying face down on the bed fast asleep. His shoes were still on and Paws was under his right arm. I sighed and shook my head. I threw on some clothes before taking off Charlie's shoes. I crawled into bed with him and began to pet Paws. He meowed at me and squirmed his way out of Charlie's arms. He came a laid on my chest.
"Where were you two today? I have half a mind to turn you into a water goblet!" I said to a sleepy Paws. "But I guess that will have to wait."
I felt my eyelids get heavy and I slowly drifted to sleep. I had no dream or not one I could remember. I finally woke up to Charlie kissing my forehead.
"Wake up my love." He smiled down at me.
"Where were you? And why did you take the cat?" I asked swatting his face from mine.

"Last minute wedding things." He said brushing his lips on my neck.
"With the cat?" I said raising an eyebrow.
"He wouldn't stop crying so I just took him with me. Vikki had a blast playing with him."
"Bill was with you?" That was a stupid question but I asked it anyway.
"Yeah." He said kissing my shoulder.
"Stop that!" I picked the cat up and placed him on Charlie's face. "You leave me here alone without telling me or leaving a note and you just expect to get off the hook?"
"Yeah pretty much." He said putting Paws on the floor and wrapping his arms around me. I felt his lips graze my collar bone sending chills up my spine. "Baby, you know I wouldn't leave you here if I didn't think it was safe."
"Still." I said finally giving into him.
He rubbed my thigh with his hand and nibbled lightly on my neck. It had been a while since we were intimate with each other and the feeling I got with him was pure ecstasy.
"It's been too long Sweetheart." He whispered into my ear.
"How much longer until the wedding?" I asked randomly.
"Three weeks." He said trying to slid his hand up my shirt.
"Well that's how much longer it's going to be." I got off the bed and walked out the room.
"Are you serious?" He said looking like I just threw water on his face.
"Yup." I said hearing him follow me to the kitchen. "It's only three weeks. I'm sure you can wait that long." I winked at him placing a hand on my hips."
"Not when you do things like that!" He said.
"Like what?" I said biting my lower lip.
"Like that!" He practically yelled. "These three weeks are going to be torture."
"You're dumb!" I said with a giggle. "What do you want to eat?"
"Let's go out tonight." He said running his fingers through his hair. He needed a hair cut again, but I knew he was going to wait until a week before the wedding.
"Where did you have in mind?" I asked.
"Let's go to the Three Broomsticks! I've been craving their turkey sandwiches, and a butter-beer." He sounded like a little kid.
"That sounds pretty good right about now actually. Let me just change." I walked to the room to put some decent clothes on.
"You tease." Charlie said with a groan. This was going to be an entertaining three weeks.
The Three Broomsticks was packed as always, but that's what made it so fun. We found a table and ordered a few butter-beers. We probably looked silly getting a hot drink in this summer weather, but it really did sound good.
"Babe, you look so gorgeous in this light." Charlie said taking a hold of my hand. "I'm the luckiest man on this planet." He kiss my hand and I felt my cheeks get hot.
He always knew how to make me happy. I couldn't wait to call him my husband, and possibly start having babies soon. I placed my hand on my belly just thinking about being pregnant. I knew what I wanted in my life, and being with Charlie was exactly what I wanted.
"No Baby, I'm the lucky the one." I stroked his cheek and gave him a passionate kiss. "I love you."
"I love you too Sweetheart."

8 258Sturmblitz Kunst: Becoming a Dissident for Martial Arts
"I don't care what you read in some old, dusty tome. You can spend decades chasing an outmoded cultivation method that'll probably lead to a faux-breakthrough trap from the Emperor that turns you into a walking impurity tumor, or you can give me a couple months and I'll teach you how to punch through someone's head." - Zelsys "Sevenfold Storm-conqueror" Newman, Founder of the Newman Family The world at large has just begun its recovery from the nigh-apocalyptic War of Fog. Catastrophic environmental damage and gaping power vacuums stir the cogs of history into motion in the absence of open war, eternally greased by the blood and sweat of ambition. A small duchy in the North of the country now stands at the precipice of upheaval as the burgeoning powers of the new era clash within its borders... Meanwhile, as the survivor of a now-extinct cultivator family struggles for survival in a world that cares not about his social status, the very embodiment of his escapist coping mechanisms forces him to pursue the fantasies of self-determination he had never dared act upon.

I am not professionally trained as a writer but I have tried my best to teach myself and make the chapters as clean as possible. I believe I have reached a point where my limited skills cannot improve the work or make any more corrections. It is very difficult to show this work, but if I do not, I fear I will never improve and learn. So here it is. To anyone who lends the time to read all of this and any of my chapters. Thank you.

8 156HUD: Wargame (Sci-Fi GameLit)
★★★★★UNFRIGGENBELIEVABLE!!!!!! "HUD: Wargame is a sci-fi GameLit worth reading." -TienSwitch ★★★★★Rock-solid FPS GameLit. "Nic - the main character - is an ambitious, hyper-competitive perfectionist, and the story fortunately handles him correctly in that it does not push these traits too far." -Akaso ★★★★★This is a good one! "This is one of those stories where you read the first few paragraphs and can just tell that the author has the chops to tell a story. It's engaging and the rules are well thought out and clearly explained. The action is punchy and exciting. Anyway, read it." -HonourRae In the future, everything is a game. Even war. 18-year-old Nic Sigfried wants the high score. Virtually piloting a real-life robot, he'll face off against his peers with the help of his AI guidance system, RTIFIS. The prize? New worlds across the galaxy that are ripe for human conquest and terraforming. It sounds glamorous on paper, but this job might be more dangerous than he thought... HUD: Wargame is the first of a five-part sci-fi series featuring GameLit elements. HUD: Wargame contains some (simulated) violence and very sparing PG-13 profanity. Updates Monday-Thursday-Saturday.
8 429The Book of Hickory
Now why did Hickory go and punch that Angel? Sure it spooked him, popping up right there at lunch, and yet, it wasn't fear that balled his hand into a fist - Cause wouldn't you? Wouldn't anyone - with a sick Ma at home, Da long dead, buried, all them prayers piling up on bruised knees, unanswered? Hickory was angry, all right. He was fierce, now - cause that Angel didn't show up to give no help, that Angel came by asking for it - with all that power just plain to see, the power to fix the world and all that ails it! And now look what poor Hickory has to do - to save the world? Now how is he supposed to do that when its taking near everything he's got - just to keep them chickens safe, Ma fed, and himself out of trouble - All he wanted was maybe just a dance with May, maybe a bit more, to hold her close? That she's sweet, now, a voice like an angel, but now she's over there lookin at him like he's more than a man. And that's not to say Hickory is bad, not all the time, not ever on purpose - just there are things a man has to - That drinking and fighting ain't wrong just as long as the chores are done proper first, that those parts of life that make it worth living ain't no sin, that loving a lady is proper and Hickory just has so much love to give! And May is special, right, sweet and soft, now she's sophisticated. That she wears her passion like a pearl necklace? That certainly Hickory would notice, naturally - that she's already spoken for, perhaps taken? That ever since Hickory came back, that all she can think about is swallowing - those strange feelings, because it wouldn't do, would it? For a Lady? But certainly she can worship him and still be seen with Weston Covanger? Because Weston needs May, that what happens in the Study is only half the battle, the Men's Business, and he's far too proud to settle for half of anything. That if he wants to move up the ranks of his family, to be more than a Covanger, to become the Covanger? He's going to need a woman in the Kitchen as well - he's going to need May. And if that seems a bit old fashioned? A bit too much like the Wild West? Well the West is starting to get wild again now that everyone starts to Drink. A different take on LitRPG where answers aren't given - they must be earned, discovered and fought for, one at a time. An orator style, a long read, filled with magic buildings, crafting, alchemy, but most of all - This is a story about the human spirit. About understanding what defines a person, their morals, their beliefs, and also faith when everything they understand becomes challenged - changed. So do they. People can change. They will. Just not always for the better, not always - sometimes. Sometimes that's enough. Sometimes that's even everything.
