《A Fiery Love: A Charlie Weasley Love Story》Chapter 29: Yes!

School started up again, and everything pretty much went back to normal. Even the kids were over their Spring Fever. I really didn’t feel like grading a bunch of papers so close to the end, so I just assigned one Transfiguration project that counted as their final as well. Sometimes I’d sprinkle in a few take home assignments to look like I was trying to teach something. Neville liked my idea and started doing the same thing.
Neville and I started talking more during our breaks. He was such a different person than he was in school. He mentioned a girl in one of our conversations but never brought her up again. I just figured the relationship ended, and I didn’t want to bring it up. He liked to also talk about plants and goodness like that, but I never minded listening.
“Thomson has been taking all of my Nux Myristica for his class. I’m really getting sick of it.” He said taking a bite out of his sandwich.
“You should tell him something, or hex him. Whichever gets the job done.” I said nonchalantly.
“You really don’t like him do you?” He said with a chuckle.
“It’s not that I don’t like him, he just gets on my nerves! He thinks he’s big man on campus, but he’s just an arrogant son of a bitch.” I paused a moment. “Ok, maybe I do dislike him a little.”
“Don’t worry you’re not the only one! Even students are sick of him. He’s only around because he’s a decent teacher.” Neville shrugged his shoulders.
“I’ll give him that one. He knows how to teach the kids; he just has his head up his butt.”
Our break was over, and we walked back inside. I got my class started when McGonagall walk in.

“Sorry to disturb you Professor, but could I see you in the hall for a moment.” She said with a smile.
“Of course.” I smiled at her. “You guys keep working on your project, and please don’t blow anything up!” I walked out of the class and followed her to the hall. “Is everything alright?” I asked.
“I just came to tell you that Angelina Johnson just had her baby! A little boy!” Her smile was so big and happy.
“Really? That’s wonderful! When school lets out I’ll need to visit her.” This was exciting news, and I was pretty sure Charlie already knew.
When school let out I immediately went home to see if Charlie was still there. I found him pacing around the kitchen; he was probably waiting for me to get there from the look of things.
“Angelina had…”
“the baby! I know! We need to go see her.” We both looked excited and wasted no time apparating to the hospital where she was.
We found her room fast, and of course there was a bunch of people in the room wanting to see the baby. Everyone was there from the Weasly’s, to the Johnson’s, to the Potters. So many people in one tiny room it was ridiculous, and possibly a fire hazard, but with wizards and witches in the room I doubt that mattered.
“Izzy! Isn’t he beautiful?” Cried Ginny from the large crowd. She pulled me over to Angelina who looked exhausted. “Oh look at him!” She pointed to a little basket next to Angelina. I looked down at the tiny little baby. His caramel color skin was gorgeous and his little nose resembled George’s.
“He’s so tiny.” Was all that I could say. Seeing how little and gorgeous he was made me really want a little baby of my own. I looked back at Charlie who was busy in conversation with Bill. In my mind I pictured a little baby running around with Charlie chasing after him.

“Do you want to hold him?” Angelina asked me.
“Sure.” I said nervous. I’d never held a baby before, and I was scared something was going to happen.
Angelina picked up the baby and placed him in my arms. He was so small and precious. I imagined holding my own child in my arms, rocking him to sleep, feeding him, even changing his diapers. I guess holding a baby made me want one.
“You look really good with a baby.” Fleur whispered in my ear. “You’re a natural.” Hearing this made me happy. I gave the baby back to Angelina, and she kissed his forehead.
“What did you name him?” I asked. Angelina and George looked at each other and grinned.
“Fred.” They both said simultaneously. I heard Molly let out a cry of happiness.
“How sweet!” I said. Charlie came behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.
“Alright everyone! Time to leave. Mommy and baby need their rest.” Said a nurse with highlighted hair.
We all said bye and congratulations to George and Angelina before leaving them to rest. Everyone was excited about the baby, but it was getting late and everyone also looked tired. Charlie and I got home and collapsed onto the bed. I let out a sigh still thinking about having a baby of my own.
“I’m going to grad something to eat, you want anything?” Asked Charlie getting out of bed.
“A baby.” I said without thinking. Charlie just stared at me with a funny look on his face.
“I’m sorry, a what?” His voice cracked.
“Nothing, sorry, wasn’t thinking.” I said fast to recover.
“Ok…” He left it trailing.
When I knew he left the room I smacked a pillow on my face. I need to be more careful with what I say around Charlie, even if it’s something I really wanted. I laid with the pillow on my face until Charlie came back. He had a bowl of grapes and strawberries. He sat on the corner of the bed making obnoxious munching noises. He lifted the edge of my pillow and slipped a grape into my mouth.
“So a baby, huh?” He teased. I felt my cheeks blush deeply. “Well if that’s what you really want, but under one condition.”
“What’s that?” I pushed the pillow off my face and sat up. Charlie got off the bed, took my hands in his, and got down on one knee.
“Isabella Jennings, will you marry me?” As soon as he said the words he pulled out a box from his pocket. He opened it and inside was a gorgeous ring with a knot and a diamond tucked into it.
I was so speechless. The ring was gorgeous and everything I wanted. I felt tears escape my eyes as I covered my mouth with my hand.
“Yes!” I cried.
Charlie slipped the ring onto my finger. I stared at it for a while then threw my arms around his neck. I kissed him passionately as he picked me up and spun me around. He set me down and pecked my lips.
“I love you so much Sweetheart!” He said giving me another quick kiss.
“I love you too.” I stared at my ring and felt my eyes tear up again.
This was everything I wanted. Soon I was going to marry Charlie; soon I was going to become Mrs. Charles Weasley.

8 84The Arcane Gunslinger
A lazy celestial being's mistake leads to Sergeant William Remington, a decorated member of the Coalition Marines, to be placed into a new body. His old life aboard the Valkyrie, an interstellar destroyer has also been replaced as he finds his new body in an unknown world. Where he learns of magic, skills, the system, helhorses, and slinging lead with ancient revolvers. Initially, he is skeptical of his new norm but the desire to survive leads him to try to earn a living while he figures out what just happened to his life. He's a fighter but far from the elite, a grunt with some experience. But what better way than to fall back to what he's familiar with, weapons and going after criminals and rebels. With the added challenges of monsters. This is my first Litrpg writing. It's a wild west fantasy setting with the MC taking a role as a gun-slinging bounty hunter in a world of magic and monsters. Hope you enjoy it. UPDATES AT 3PM EST ON MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS! Warning. The story has a slow start because I'm trying to keep my MC realistic. It takes him some time to adjust to his new surroundings, start to make some friends, and really get into the swing of it. I kind of think it's dumb when an isekai's MC manages to blink twice and suddenly adapts to their new world without any sort of struggle or learning period. So not doing that but don't worry Will may be confused and a bit unfocused at first but he'll grow into his own. Also using it to practice my digital artwork... which is far from par but improving. Keep an eye on author notes for maps and depictions of monsters and characters.
