《A Fiery Love: A Charlie Weasley Love Story》Chapter 5: The Wedding

I looked myself over in the mirror making sure everything looked fine. My long brown hair was done in a low side pony tail with curls at the end. My turquoise dress fell to my knee and had a sparkly belt right under my bust. My eyes looked darker than ever today, but that made them look bigger at the same time.
I adjusted the top of my dress and put lip gloss on to finish my look off. As I grabbed my clutch off the desk I heard a knock at the door. Standing at the doorway was Charlie looking absolutely handsome. His hair was fixed nice and his black suit made him look sharp. As soon as he saw me his eyes lit up and he smiled his gorgeous smile.
“Wow! You look gorgeous!” He said not taking his eyes off me. I could feel my cheeks get hot.
“Thanks, you look handsome!” I giggled out.
We stood at the doorway for a while just looking at each other.
“Uhh, you ready to go?” Charlie asked.
“Yeah!” I smiled up at him.
“Alright. Hold on tight so I don’t lose you!” I wrapped my arms around his waist and took in his scent. The next thing I knew we were standing in a garden with a huge white tent in front of us.
“Welcome to the Burrow!” He exclaimed proudly. “This is where I grew up.”
I took everything in; the smell, the sounds, how bright everything was.
“CHARLIE!!!” I heard someone shout. I looked over to see a man walking over who look similar to Charlie holding the hand of a beautiful woman with blonde hair.
“Bill!” Charlie went up to him and embraced him in a big hug. “Hello Fleur! How are you? Where’s Victoire?” Giving her a gentler hug.

“I’m very good, thanks! She’s somewhere playing with Teddy.” Fleur had a French accent that made her seem even more gorgeous.
“Oh! You guys this is Isabella.” Charlie said gesturing to me. “Isabella this is my brother Bill and his wife Fleur.”
“How nice to meet you!” Said Fleur pulling me into a hug.
“Yes, it’s nice to meet you.” Bill said kissing my hand.
“It’s nice to meet you as well.” I said with a smile on my face.
“Well, come on now! You need to meet the rest of the family!” Said Bill dragging me away. Charlie followed behind us.
We walked across the garden to a group of even more red heads who I presumed to be the rest of the family. I felt a hand intertwine with mine and when I look up Charlie was standing next to me blushing slightly.
“Mum, Dad, I want you to meet Isabella Jennings.” Said Charlie.
At the sight of our hands together his mother ran to me with a huge smile on her face.
“Oh Dear! It’s so nice to meet you! I’m Molly and this is my husband Arthur.” She gestured to the man on her right.
“It’s nice to meet you!.” He exclaimed taking my hand into both of his.
“Don’t forget about us!” Said a taller red head.
“How could I, George?” Said Charlie “Izzy these two knuckle heads are my younger brothers, George and Ron.”
“It’s nice to meet you both!” I said waving at them.
“I’d introduce you to the women in their lives but their helping Ginny get ready!” Charlie said with a smile. “Come on let’s go find a seat!”
He refused to let go of my hand wherever we went, but I didn’t mind one bit. He introduced me to a few more people; some I knew, others I had no clue. I felt welcomed and everyone was friendly.

Bells began to ring signaling for us to take our seats. Charlie and I sat in the second row with Bill, Fleur, and their child behind where the bridesmaids and parents would sit. The orchestra began to play and out stepped Harry Potter in the front of the alter. He looked nervous, but handsome none the less! The bridesmaids walked down first escorted by the groomsmen; Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood; George Weasley and Angelina Johnson; and Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. We all stood at Ginny was walked down the isle by both her mother and father. She looked absolutely beautiful. The ceremony was gorgeous and somehow half way through Teddy Lupin was sitting in my lap.
As Ginny gave her vows she began to cry which in turn I began to cry. I’m such a cry baby. I felt Charlie take hold of my hand once again and caress it with his thumb. The ceremony ended with Harry and Ginny kissing and running off the alter.
“That was a beautiful wedding.” I said to Charlie, placing Teddy on the floor for him to run off with Victoire.
“It was!” He embraced me in a big hug. “I saw you crying and wanted to give you that.”
“I always cry at weddings! I’m a big cry baby!” I said laughing.
We both started laughing still embraced in our hug.
“Come on! Let’s go find Ginny and Harry and congratulate them!” I said taking a hold of his hand.
We took off to find them which wasn’t that hard. They were taking picture in the garden next to all the roses. They were looking straight at each other with a loving look in their eyes. I looked up at Charlie gave him a half smile, wrapped one arm around him, and place my head on his chest. I could hear his heart beating and it was beating pretty fast.
As soon as they were finished taking pictures Charlie and I went to congratulate them. Charlie picked Ginny up in a monstrous hug. I went up to Harry and we just stared at each other. I hadn’t seen his since my seventh year, the year Cedric my best friend was murdered. Harry gave me a gentle hug.
“How have you been?” He asked.
“I’ve been good. What about you?” I asked back.
“Good, you know, just getting married at what not!” He joked with me.
“Oh yeah! Nothing special!” I laughed.
“You two know each other?” Questioned Charlie.
“Yeah she was a seventh year my fourth year.” Harry smiled at me trying not to talk about it. “Are you here with Charlie?” He looked towards me.
“Yeah.” I blushed and looked towards Charlie. Harry smiled and gave me a wink.
After meeting everyone we still had a few hours until the reception dinner and dance. I looked across the room to see Luna, Fleur, Hermione, Angelina, and Ginny whispering about something.
“Go talk to them.” Charlie encouraged me.
I walked over to them and they welcomed me in.
“What are you guys talking about?” I asked curiously.
“Should we include her in?” Luna asked with a slight smile.
“I think we should!” Exclaimed Angelina.
And with that they dragged me upstairs, laughing and giggling.
