Today it's very special day for our angel Avni..it's her engagement ceremony... everyone are very happy and are roaming here and there and preparing last minute decorations..

Everyone are excited to know who is groom right 😉???

Avni's pov

Today I'm very excited and nervous...it's my engagement day...omg I'm gonna be somebody's part of life...life is gonna change completely ...i will miss my maa n papaa😑😑...and tears came out...

She heard a voice of her mom n suddenly wiped her tears..

Neela: Avni beta...r u ready??

Avni: ha..ma!!

Neela(happily): bahut Sundar lag rahi hey..meri pyari beti..and kisses her on forehead

Avni gives a light smile

Neela: kya hua meri baby doll ko bahut dull lag Rahi hai???

Avni: Kuch nahi maa...bass toda nervous hu..!!

Neela:Avni beta thuje a engagement pasad hey na beta??

Avni(gives a smile):ha..maa muje pasad a ma.. papa aur app ki selection hey...meh apko trust Karti hu.i know u will always give me the best😊.

Ashish was standing at door..n listening his daughter's words tears came out from his eyes..

Ashish: ha beta..we love u so much... wherever u r u should be happy and hugs her and kisses on her forehead.

Avni: I love u too papa.. and I will miss u so much..papa and mama and she starts crying..

Neela: Avni beta..Rona mat...today is Ur special day u need to be happy 😊and hugs her

Ashish also joins them..here Riya comes and sees their emotion and tears roll in her eyes..and to make them happy she says mujhe chodkar aap thino hi hug karte kya...mey naraz hu and pouts

Avni: Riya come here...hum tujhe kyu chodunge...come join us.

And all four hugs..

From downstairs

Dayavanthi(shouts): Avni beta...tum tayar Hu???

Avni: haa dadi ready hogayi hu

And goes down

Dayavanthi was very happy and she hugs Avni and kisses her on forehead n says bahut Sundar laga Rahi hey meri Avni😍

Soon someone shouts hurry up grooms had come..

Neela Daya and Ashish goes to welcome them and Avni gets shy and starts blushing 😊.riya sees her sis getting blush and starts teasing her..

Outside the mansion

A man gets down from a car...and comes towards Mehta's..

Neela: vidhyut beta tum Akela ayaa...mom n dad Kaha hey???

Here's our groom vidhyut

Vidhyut: mummy ji..vo and stammers

Ashish:Bolo beta! Kya huva??

Vidhyut: vo papa ji.....and call a girl.. juhi come here...and a girl get downs from a car..

Daya: a kuan he beta??

Vidhyut: dadi ji vo kya he na....ok fine and sighs..and says them that I love her...I wanna marry her...I don't want to marry Avni...this is y I came here...I just came to inform

Daya: shouts kya(loudly)

Avni and Riya listens the shout and goes out..

Avni: kya huva dadi??

Nobody speaks and Avni and Riya gets tensed

Riya:sab chup kyu hai?? Kya huvu??koyi Kuch Bolo na??

Neela:vo..kya hey na Avni......and stammers

Vidhyut: mai bathunga ...she is juhi...we love each other...I only want to marry her..!!I'm sorry Avni 😑

Avni:are u crazy?today is our engagement and u don't want this marriage...

Vidhyut: I don't want to marry u...I only love her...I will marry her only...yes its mistake that I didn't say it before bcz my parents didn't ask my decision and they forced me for this marriage...and goes from there by holding juhi's hand..

Avni(broken):no!!u can't do this to me..plz come back..and starts crying..

Here everyone tries to console but she couldn't stop and runs to her room and locks it .

Everyone goes there knocks door and calls Avni..but she will not respond anything and doesn't open door..

Neela: leave her alone for sometime...she need sometime to come out of it...she is a strong girl she will not do anything for herself...

Ashish: Ur right!! She need sometime...leave her alone .

All the relatives goes from there..

all mehta's were broken down and are silent..

Here Avni lay down on her bed and cries...tears continuously flows from her eyes..

She was broken down..!!Yes.. although it was an arranged marriage...but she dreamt her life with him...she was ready to spend her life with him...how can she control herself??

At night

Nobody was interested to eat but due to force of riya everyone came to eat..but everyone tried to call Avni...but there was no use...she was not ready to eat and not responded to anything..

Next morning,

Everyone woke up..and thought not to discuss about it anymore..as Riya consoled them that it's over we can't do anything..we can't change what happened...let's start day freshly...and stop thinking about it and everyone realised it and nodded in yes..

But Avni didn't come out n not responded to anyone

And then Ali enters the house and shouts Avni..avni.. excitedly!!! As yesterday he had some work and was not in the city..he couldn't attend the engagement and didn't know about yesterday's issue

Riya: Ali u r here?? I'm so worried about Di..time good tum

Agay!!!

Ali(worried):Riya... kya huva Avni ko ??.

Riya explains everything what happened yesterday...Ali got shocked and got very angry on vidhyut...but now he is more concerned about Avni...and goes near Avni's room and knocks the door..but Avni doesn't respond anything...Ali calls her Avni Avni plz bahar ajao Avni...plz...door kolo..open the door Avni plz.. but no use Avni didn't respond nor opened the door.

Ali: Avni ab tum door open Nahi kiyo tho meh tumhari best friend nahi hu..aur mei Zindagi mey tumse bat nai karungi..

After hearing this...Avni wakes up from bed and wipes her tears and opens door...by seeing Ali she just hugged him tightly and cried so badly...

Ali couldn't see her best frnd like this and consoled her...Avni he doesn't deserve u...u will get someone better than this...plz Avni don't cry... crying is not solution Avni...he loves someone else..even if he marry u..u will never be happy with him...plz move on Avni...

Avni listens everything and nodes saying yes...

ali:But Avni he made my best friend cry...I am not gonna leave him..

Avni(slowly): no Ali..u r not doing anything to him...yah he made mistake by saying it lately...it's not his mistake...it's his parents mistake...let it be...at least he came n informed without running away..

Ali: ok Avni I will not do anything...but on 1 condition u need to be normal and forget all.

Avni:ok Ali..I will try...I need some time..I can't forget everything that easily...I need some time..

Ali: ok take Ur time...I will be there for u and hugs her..she hugs him back..

All are happy by seeing there frndship n bond..

Neela comes to Avni hugs her and kisses her forehead

Neela: Avni beta...we r sorry we didn't bring a perfect man for u...we r the reason for Ur situation today..we r sorry..

Ashish: ha beta!! We had broken Ur trust...I'm sorry beta and cries

Avni: maa aur papa is meh ap Ka mistake Nahi hai..he is a good man..but I don't deserve him that's it...u no need to say sorry..and hugs them

Daya holds Avni's face and kisses her on forehead and says..

Daya: Avni beta...tum unko Nahi..vo tumko deserve Nahi katre hai...u r an angel...he is the unlucky 1 not u beta

Avni gives a small smile and hugs her...

Avni takes 2 weeks to come out of it and to be normal..in this 2 weeks Ali was there with her... supported her and consoled her..

As I said before in the character sketch Avni avoids committments and relationships..This engagement was the reason for it.

I don't know Hindi properly..but tried by best...plz forgive if there is any mistake.
