Avni was holding a liece of broken glass i her hand. Neil moved his gaze down and saw that the glass in which he had earlier given her water to drink was lying on the floor, broken into millions of pieces. He ran to her immediately, clearly understanding her next move and slowly snatched the glass piece from her hand.

Saying all these things, she blacked out. He was scared seeing her like this. He laid her on the bed and and asked his mom to call the doctor. He sat beside her on the bed and was caressing her knuckles gently.

Shweta was sitting at the foot of the bed and was looking at her son, she noticed for the first time, his concern, which was for someone else other than his own family.

Neil bahut pyaar karti hai iss ladki se. Pehli baar main usse aise dekh raha hun. Woh kitna care karti hai uske liye, shayad she is the one for him. Lekin pata nahi, yeh chehra kahi dekha hai maine, yaad nahi hai. DD ke aane ke baad shayad pata chalega. Jo bhi ho, yehi meri bahu banengi. Bahut hi achhi ladki hai, company mein bhi Neil ka khyaal rakhti hai. Jald hi iske parents se baat karni hogi mujhe. Pata nahi aisa kyu dar gaya, aur yeh doctor bhi abhi tak aaya nahi. Ek aur baar,

But Shweta's thoughts were interrupted by the ring of a phone call. She searched all around and saw Neil's scrutinizing gaze, on a phone on his hand.

Vidyut Pandit. The true caller showed. Since the number was not saved, Neil guessed it must be someone she was trying to avoid maybe. He picked the call and silently listened to what the other person was saying.

Avni! Mujhse shaadi ke liye mana kiya aur ab usse shaadi karne jaa rahi ho. Kya kami thi mujhme? I just asked you to be physical just once before our marriage aur tum to pata nahi kaha bhaag gaya. Don't worry, tumhari past uske saamne rakha tho, he will throw you out of the house, just lile before. Zyaada der tak khush nahi reh sakti tum aur lautkar vaapas mere hi paas aana padega. Neil! What are you saying aur dekho doctor bhi aa gaya hai. Shweta tried to stop him from using more curse words.

You beware, Mr Vidyut Pandit. He said in a dangerous threatening tone and cut the call.

The doctor had arrived and was checking her. Shweta was inside the room with him amd he was waiting outside. A lot of questions were running in his mind, without any answers.

Her life is a mess. She must have suffered a lot. And her ,other, wherever she is, I need to rescue her first. I really want to know her past and protect her from it. This time no one will harm her and if they dare to touch her, then I will kill them. I hope she would be fine. Yeh last time hoga Avni, jo tumhe ause panic attack aa rahi ho. There won't be a next time and I would make sure of that.

He then called the guards and asked them to rescue her mother from Vidyut's clutches. The guards looked confused as how were they supposed to rescue a person they didn't see. He then calmly asked them to search his house and rescue a woman, who would be in a bit bad condition. They nodded instantly and set off, before he would bark at them. He then called DD and asked him to look for Vidyut Pandit also. DD informed him that the information he had asked for earlierwas fetched, and should he mail it to him. But he denied and asked him to bring all the files together as searchingfor Vidyut won't take long as he was a business man. DD complied and cut the call, ready to find about Vidyut Pandit.

The doctor was out of her room now and she was behind him. A maid followed them, taking away the pieces of briken glasses, after cleaning the room. Neil approached the doctor and asked,

How's she now?

She is unconscious for the moment, will be conscious after 6-8 hours maybe.

What had happened to her?

A panic attack, and I think this one's after a long time so is having a worse impact on her. She was having depression pills?

Yes, if this is what you mean. Neil said showing him the depression pills, he had got earlier from her bag.

The doctor took a look at it and nodded his head,

Sleeping pills too, I see. Mr.Khanna, whtever that had made her have this attack, she mist be keot awy from it. It would be fatal the next time.

She won't be having panic attacks any more.

Shweta showed him out, while Neil went inside his room. She was still sleeping, her pale face glowing in the sunlight that was coming through his windows. Her expressions said that she was very frightened and tired at the moment. Neil slowly went to her and sat beside her. He then took her hand in his and started talking to the unconscious Avni.

He kissed her forehead once and then went down. DD was already there with a file in her hands. He was waiting for him. Neil walked towards him and asked for the file, while the guards that were sent to Vidyut's house returned. Two of them were supporting a very lean woman, whose face was pale, and eyes were drooping. Neil called his mom and some maids and asked them take her to a guest room and asked DD to call a doctor for her.

Shweta exclaimed concerned for her close friend and far relative.

Neil said this and looked at the guards.One of the guard was injured. When Neil enquired, they said that Vidyut was trying to shoot the lady and he got shot while saving her, shielding her from hi sight. The guards now knew better. They knew that if they didn't do what they were told, they would suffer very harshly, Neil won't kill them but would punish them and it was unbearable. He was thta ruthless monster. But he always made sure that the guards were not affected too much also.

He then moved to his study room and DD was behind him. Neil took the file from DD and started reading. The doctor came in between and DD led him to the guest room. Neil was going through the file, not missing even a small bit of information. When he asked DD to bring the file, he meant all the details. All about their past, their dark side, their bright side everything.

He was now having a list of all of Vidyut's illegal activities, drug dealing, women trafficking, child trafficking, organ trafficking, all about the brothels that he was running. He came to know thta he had forced Avni to marry him, but she had rejected him. So he had kisdnapped her mother. She was forced to live in his house for two days, but her mother had forced her to escape, giving her her kasam amd she unwillingly did so. It was after that, that she had joined Khanna industries. The last part of her life was now clwar to him.

He then started to read the file of the Mehta's. He got to know that she was the daughter of Ashish and Neela Mehta. Her mother was always treated very badly and was accused of having many extramarital affairs. One day, a small, twelve year old Avni had stood in front of her father, stopping him from beating her mother. That day onwards, she too was treated badly. Dayawanti Mehta, an old school, orthodox lady, found pleasure in seeing her son beating his wife and daughter as she had had a failed marriage and the suffering of a woman at her husband's hand made her feel happy. Ashish got very much harsh day by day and it was becoming unbearable. She was sent to college just to maintain the family reputation. After she had completed her masters in MBA, she was locked in the house, always beaten up till she fell unconscious. Ashish had now stopped beating Neela, and had instead turned his full attention on Avni.

Avni was treated very badly until Vidyut's proposal came. But she had rejected him on his face and this had angered Ashish very much. He promised Vidyut that Avni would only marry him. Neela, when she got to know about his promise has escaped from that house, somehow dragging an unconscious Avni to one of her friends house. The next day Vidyut had kisdnapped her while she was in the garden. Avni was getting her wounds treated by a doctor then. When she got to know about her mother's kidnapping, she had immediately rushed to save her. Vidyut blackmailed her saying that she would kill Neela if she doesn't marry him. He gave her a week time to think. On the third day, Neela had escaped from the basement, where she was kept, and had forced Avni to leave the place. She was not agreeing. Neela vowed that she should go, or else Neela would kill herself. Neela always dreamt of a happy family life with her husband and child, but her husband alwys used to abuse her. She didn't want her daughter to suffer the same. Avni had escaped from his Mansion and had been living secretly, hiding from every familiar persons. She had then joined Khanna industries.

Neil felt something was amiss but thought to chack it later as he had more important things to do now. The only people who could answer her queries are unconscious right now. He will wait for them to wake up and then clear everything, calmly.

After reading the file Neil was fuming. He smashed the glass table over there. DD was not surprised as it always happened whenever he got angry. He then went outside and sat on his car. DD started driving out of the house.

Neil ordered and DD immediately drove there.

He commanded.

He entered the station and the commissioner came out to greet him. He submitted all the files of Vidyut and asked the commissioner to arrest him.

Neil roared at the commissioner.

He immediately obliged and went inside to get the handcuffs and some paper. On the way to Vidyut's house he arranged an arrest warrant and was all ready. They reached his voice.

DD parked his car right in front of his door. Neil got out and sat on the bonnet of his car, keeping his one leg over the other, all ready to watch the show begin. The media was already there. The commissioner arrested Vidyut and had brought him out of his house. Neil got down amd went to him.

The commissioner nodded scared.

Neil was very powerful, he had his influence everywhere. But he never misused it. It was the first time he wad using his powers for his own benefit. He was ruthless and arrogant, very powerful, but he made sure that he always used it for the right thing, it was his upbringing that made him like this.

The media was continously capturing the picsof the Neil Khanna at Vidyut's arrest place. It was the second time that he was making the headline.

He then asked DD to drive to Mehta Mansion. On his way he made some calls and made sure that the Mehta's would be doomed. The media was following him, ready to make new headlines.

DD stopped the car and Neil enters the house. He directly went inside and sat on the couch.

The guards, who were close behind him in cars all swarmed insde and threw out everything in their way. They dragged Ashish and Dayawanti out of their rooms and threw them out. They were astonished with the sudden act of his, but Ashish soon composed himself and pushed the guards away.

The police came there and arrested the both of them for charges of women and child abuse. They would be punished very brutally and would get hanged at the least, Neil had made sure of that. The media were still surrounding them and Neil ignored them and went back to his home. The guards bkocked the media from further following him.

He was welcomed by the sight of his worried father, when he reached back home. He had seen the news, but only a bit and was extremely worried.

He said angrily and left to his room.

Prakash, his dad, was shocked at the response he received from his son. He usually agrred to help everyone but was now refusing. Shweta was now back from Neela's room amd saw her husband sitting there. She approached him and he shered the latedt news about Neil talking rudely.

Shweta narrated what had happened in the morning and also switched on the news. They saw the latest news, of Mehta's arrest. The channel was playing everything, repeating the morning kiss scene, Vidyut's arrest and the arrest of the Mehta'sand was trying to join the dots. Prakash was shocked to see this. He then went upstairs to adk Neil to explain everything clearly, and Shweta went behind himas she too wanted to know everything as her once best friend was involved.

But they were all the more surprised seeing Neil sitting behind Avni and sleeping holding her hands. Prakash knew Avni already as she was Neil's PA. They left them alone.

Shweta went to Neela who was in a stable state now. She was drugged heavily, and that was whu she was like that earlier. But now she was in her senses. Seeing her bestie after a long time, Neela felt happy and hugged her tight. She sobbed in Shweta's arms for a long time. Shweta became more concerned now. She slowly made Neela speak everything and then she got to know what Avni and Neela had suffered. She felt bad for them. She then informed Neela about Avni working as her son's PA and told how he had said that je loved her. When Neela got to know that hee daughter was there, she requested to meet her and Shweta happily took her there.

(Here Shweta knows the original story not the one that Neil knows. Half of the story is same, of that abusing part and all but the reasons are totally different. Maybe some of you could guess it if you just read both the parts clearly.)

Avneil were now sleeping on the bed, Neil looking exhausted from all the happenings of today. He was sleeping like a dead and that was why Avni's movements didn't wake him up. Avni saw Neela, the firstthing and thought that she was hallucinating. But when her mother came and kissed her forehead lovingly, she felt sure that she was actually there and hugged her tight. Avni was in Neela's arms now, hugging her from a long time, she was not letting her go. Shweta left the roomand went to tell everything to Prakash.

After along hig Avni finally looked at her mother.

She said in a broken tone.

Neela points to Neil, who was sleeping ipon the other side of the bed.

Avni was confused. How did she come here. But soon Dayawanti's call came back to her mind, but she had not picked the call. If Neil sir had picked it, then he would fire her maybe, after knowing her true identity, but she was unaware of the fact that he was head over heels for her.

Achha hi hoga, agar Neil sir khud mujhe fire karengi toh. Jab main uske company main job karungi toh, uska company barbaad ho jayenga. Maa ko samajhna honga aur mujhe jaana hoga yahan se.

Neil stirred in his sleep and that brought Avni back from her thoughts. He had opened his eyes and was gazing at her now.
