T'was the day when Shweta and Prakash were celebrating their aniversary (from the show).

Avni had planned everything and very much excited just like Neil who was going to profess his love towards her in front of all the people. He was very much excited. They had confessed their love to each other earlier but Neil being him wanted the whole world to know that she belonged to him. SHE WAS HIS WIFE, ACP NEIL KHANNA'S WIFE. NOBODY SHOULD LOVE OR LOOK AT HER LIKE HE DO. So he planned a small surprise for her.

The family still didn't know her identity. But he assured that he will take care of it. She doesn't need to be worried when he was there for her. He also wanted to announce a good news for everyone. He had planned everything very well, but it didn't go on as he thought.

Raghu Pandit's location was traced and he immediately had to rush to the police station. He would have asked DD to take care of it, but if he went now he would be able to enjoy a small vacation with his dear wifey in her favourite place. Thinking about it he informed her about him going out and also asked her not to let others sleep till he come back. He left the house not before placing a kiss on her forehead.

It had been a long night. He and DD, disguised were finally able to track him down, scratch it track her down. The criminal they were searching for so long turned out to be a women and he was also able to catch Dayawanti Mehta as she too was found in the car with Ragini Pandit the woman who herself sold thousands of poor fgirls for money.

But now it was all over. He was finally free from the case and he could also get a leave for a few days. He had informed the other officers that he along with DD would directly go to the Khanna Mansion. DD was very close to Avni now and Neil wanted DD to witness his Sirji proposing his Bhabiji.

Neil was very much excited and drove very fast, while DD who was in the passenger seat was confused as to why his sir was so eager to reach home and why was he dragging him along. Maybe he found out that he was Matajis spy. Oh God ! What to do now. His sirji will be angry on him. He was thinking of someway to pacify him. Then it stuck him. He could ask bhabi to help him. Done he was all ready to go to Khanna Mansion now.

When Neil stepped in he saw Shweta and Bebe pushing Avni out and the next instant she was lying on the ground sobbing silently clutching her bleedind belly which was wounded when she fell.

"Avni!" He shouted grabbing everyone's attention running toward her with such a speed that Riya who was on the fell backward and hit her head on the table nearby.

"Tho tumhe sab pata tha." T'was Bebe who asked this.

"DD jaldi gadi nikalo. Hume hospital jaana hai." Neil shouted on the top of his voice. DD immediately rushed out and started the car while Neil picked Avni and went out and sat in the car.

He was very angry on his mother and Bebe. How could they do this to the girl he loves the most.

Within five minutes they reached the hospital and DD went in sceaming for help. The ward boys brought a stretcher and Neil softly placed Avni in it. The duty doctor checked her there itself and said that it was a small injury a first aid will do.

Meanwhile in the Khanna mansion Neela gave a cold glare to Shweta and left the house in her car. Prakash also went behind her as he knew that she was going to the hospital to meet Avni. Shweta got angered by this and decided to follow them and so dragged Bebe along with her. The two car reached the hospital and they saw that Neil was laying Avni down on the stretcher. They started moving towards them when they heard the doctor saying something. Immediately Neil's shout echoed in the room which left everyone shocked.

"For God's sake, she was two weeks pregnant and got pushed down on her stomach. Treat her soon or else I "

He was not able to complete as the doctor immediately rushed her to the operation theatre. Neil turned around and saw that Bebe was about to fall down.

"Khush ho gayi na ab. After making my Avni suffer. Mere bache ko maarne ki koshish karne ke baad bahut hi khush ho gayi hongi. "

And he went to Neela Ma and cried hugging her. Shweta was hurt listening to this while Bebe just sat with a thud on the nearby seat.

"Yeh kya kar diya maine. Apne hi pote ko maarne ki koshish ki. Maaf karde Neil puttar , mujhe maaf karde. Mujhe pata nahi tha ki Avni Ma bannewali thi."

But Neil was still sobbing in Neela's arms. The door of the operation theatre opened and hearing the sound Neil rushd to the doctor.

"I'm sorry Mr. We were unable to save your child. She is very weak right now and will take time to heal. Make sure that you take care of her."

Saying this he moved away while Neil was standing there numb and tears were continuously making their way out from his eyes.

"Khooni ho aap Shweta Ji aur Bebe. Mere pote ko maar diya Apne. Khooni ho aap dono." Neela cried loudly while DD tried to console her. Prakash kept his hands on Neil's shoulder but he was not responding.

"Neil" he called him.

"Mere bache ko maar diya mom aur Bebe ne. Mere bache ko" and he cried his heart out in Prakash's arms.

After lot of consolings from Prakash Neil finally composed himself. Shweta and Bebe tried to talk to him many times but he paid no heed to them.

After 2 hours, the nurse informed them that Avni was awake. Neil immediately rushed inside to meet her. She was trying to take the glass of water kept on the table beside, but since her body was drained out of all the energy it had, she was not able to do so.

"Avni" Neil called her softly and she immediately turned to him. He went near her and gave her a glass of water to drink. She was shivering while holding the glass, so he ma de her drink it.

After that silence prevailed in the room. Neil was guilty for not able to protect his wife and their unborn child while Avni was guilty for not revealing her identity.

"Avni I'm sorry. Main tumhe aur humara baby ko protect nahi kar paya. I'm really sorry Avni." Neil finally spoke not able to hold the guilt in him anymore.

"Shh Neil. You dont have to be sorry. Main tumhare life mai aana hi nahi chahiye tha. Meri vajah se hi hua hai yeh sab. DWM sahi keh rahi thi. Main " she was not able to continue as Neil just kissed her on her lips. He immediately broke the kiss and said

"Aage se aise kabhi math bolna. Tum mere pyaar ho Avni. I always used to think that pyaar sirf ek hi baar ho jata hai. But after seeing you, I understood that my first love was just an infatuation. Truly Avni, main sach bol raha hun. But ab tumhari vajah se hi main jee raha hun. Please mujhe kabhi chodke mat jana."

Listening to tjis Avni had tears in her years. Crying happily she replied

"Kabhi nahi Neil."
