Jungkook leaves his shirt on the bathroom door for her.
"You want her to wear your clothes," Jimin sing-songs from behind Namjoon.
"I bought her a change of clothes as well. But she can wear yours instead," the older woman says, not unkindly.
Jungkook felt himself going red under the gazes of all his hyungs, each smirking at him.
"I... I didn't know. I didn't know you had, had clothes for her... well, I'm sure, I'm sure she would prefer what you, you chose. The, girl clothes," he nearly bites his tongue.
Yoongi raises an eyebrow at his stammering.
"Well, they're here if she wants them later." The noona lines up five store-crisp shopping bags on the coffee table.
"Why are there so many? How long is she staying?" asks Taehyung in surprise.
"Women need more toiletries than men," the noona shakes a finger at him.
The bathroom door clicks open and closed, quickly, around the corner in the hallway.
Jungkook turns, wanting to shout that there are "girl clothes", but before he can, he has already heard the door close.
The noona smiles and takes one of the shopping bags, walking into the hallway and knocking on the bathroom door.
There's hushed conversation between more door clicking.
The nurse counts the water bottles and forces three of them on Jungkook.
He was happy to oblige.
Still, his head began to feel like sharp forks were digging into his skull by the time he had finished his water.
His hands grew heavier to lift and he wasn't listening to his members tease him anymore.
So he cannot, really cannot, explain the explosion of gold in his chest the moment his soulmate stepped out of the hallway and she was wearing his shirt.
She had a large hairclip, one that he had seen in the shopping bag, holding up her wet hair.
She was wearing perfectly fitting new sweatpants too.
But it was his shirt.
Why did she choose his shirt over the "girl clothes"?

And he felt a weird tug in his cheek that was going to break into a stupid smile so he grit down on his teeth to make it stop.
The nurse bore down on the freshly showered girl, pressing an open bottle of water into her hands.
Jungkook needed healing, was what he tried to convince himself with, when he resisted the almost magnetic pull the bond was making him feel toward his soulmate.
It's just self preservation.
Besides, he really did feel terrible now.
He sat down and leaned himself back against the furniture.
Get a grip.
It's only been half an hour since you stopped healing.
Don't ask for her.
Don't even look at her.
He closed his eyes.
There was a systematic pounding on the front door before it beeped and unlocked, letting in a manager who shouted "We're coming in!" and then did so, followed by a doctor and two staff.
The doctor enters the living room, takes one look at Jungkook and narrows his eyes.
"Why aren't you healing?" He laid down a duffle bag next to Jungkook and took Jungkook's blood pressure.
She, the only she that seemed to matter anymore, joined them and put a hand on Jungkook's shoulder.
He tried not to groan with relief.
He is afraid, though, that he may have leaned into her hand, just a little.
Because she scoots closer and moves more of her arm to overlap him, until her folded knuckles grazed his neck and her entire wrist lay on his shoulder.
"You should be healing, all the time," grumbled the doctor. "The state, the state you were in yesterday!"
The doctor shook his head as he poked a thermometer into Jungkook's ear.
He turns to look at the girl.
"You should be beside him. All. The. Time."
Her eyes widen at the reprimand and she tilts her mouth, drops her eyes and nods meekly.
And Jungkook can't take it.
"I wanted to go shower, so I left." Jungkook says, his vision a little red with anger.
"I was the one who left."
Soulmate's lips part with surprise as she lifts her eyes to meet Jungkook's.

The doctor raises an eyebrow.
Then extracts a flashlight from his bag and shines it into Jungkook's eyeballs.
"I was not blaming. Anyway, you look fine. As long as you keep bond healing."
The doctor then turns to the girl's and wraps the black band around her arm to take her pressure.
All the while with Jungkook trying not to focus on the fact that it was over the sleeve of his shirt, on her, all the while trying to ignore the dancing lights in his heart.
Ear poke and eye irritation later, she too was deemed in no dire danger but in need of soulmate healing.
The doctor was accompanied out by the manager, who was bowing and muttering endless appreciation and thanks.
...
If he thought it was awkward already, Jungkook got further put in his place.
Every time she went to the washroom or got up to stretch her body, Jungkook's pounding headache returned.
His bruised hand was still purple, the deep shade not budging at all.
Shouldn't he be healing faster than this?
Glancing at his soulmate told him that she seemed to be handling a few minutes away from him just fine.
She also showed him her fingertips, where her blue bruising was already fading.
"Be patient, Jungkook. You were more sick than she was," Jimin tells him, reaching over to ruffle his hair.
For some reason, though he never minded Jimin's affection before, Jungkook suddenly felt very conscious of his ruffled hair.
He tried not to be too obvious shaking his head and brushing his hair back into place.
It was just habit.
He wasn't uptight about how he looked in front of her, or anything...
Nope.
"Hey there... are you feeling better? How are you doing?" Jimin asks soul mate girl.
Jungkook turns his head discretely to look at her, unsure if he was happy Jimin was using his deep, gentle voice, or a little not happy.
He shook his head again to get rid of this strange complex he was developing.
He never minded Jimin before.
"I'm doing better now, thank you," soulmate answers Jimin.
She slowly lifts her eyes to meet Jimin's, and he immediately gives her a friendly smile.
"Thank you for taking care of our Jungkookie. He was so sick before you got here..."
Jimin turns and strokes Jungkook's arm, and Jungkook gets a weird flash of irritation again.
Why was Jimin making him sound helpless?
"I'm sorry.. I didn't realize. That I bonded. I'm sorry," she whispers, looking down at her knees.
And just as Jungkook takes a breath to tell her it's not her fault, Jimin is already talking.
"No, no... no one is blaming you. It's not your fault," Jimin hurries to tell her.
He leans down to peer into the girl's face, and stays there, bent... smiles at her insistently until she slowly breaks into a smile too.
Jimin's soft voice and gentle ways seems to coax her out of her timidness better than Jungkook can, Jungkook notices.
And something green and unhappy surfaces in his consciousness.
"I'll try my best to heal Jungkook up. It shouldn't take too long. I myself already feel much better than yesterday."
She offers Jimin another tiny smile.
Jimin immediately grins back broadly, his eyes disappearing into lines, his bangs sweeping into his eyes handsomely and he chuckles his low satoori laugh.
She lowers her eyes shyly.
This definitely triggers something in Jungkook.
He suddenly wants Jimin to leave.
What is going on?
Jungkook narrows his eyes and tries to pinpoint what it is that's making him feel so strange.
Just...
It's just that Jimin's slender athletic frame and shining eyes and soft looking hair were too... nice... and Jungkook just wanted him to go away.
And the way the two of them were just holding gazes and smiling gently at each other... as though...
... as though she was Jimin's soulmate or something, and not Jungkook's...
Jungkook tries not to say anything, tries to keep this fiery irritation off his face by bringing his other arm, the one not touching soul mate, over his face like he was resting.
But there was some kind of angry monster in his chest, sweeping waves of green all over him.
