Hoseok was holding his hand, his left hand, and Jungkook tried not to inhale too obviously when Hoseok shook it slightly.
Because the pain was halfway down his elbow already.
This is fast, even for bonding, Jungkook knew.
Especially because he had been lying down and drinking water the whole time.

Why wasn't his body preserving itself?
"Everyone is little different. You just react a bit faster that's all," Namjoon tells him.

Jungkook knew he looked sick, then, because Bang SiHyuk himself had come to offer reassurance.
But Jungkook understood what it meant if the world found out he had bonded.
It would be the end of Bangtan.

He had napped fitfully on and off, trying to drink water whenever he was awake.
"No... don't tell..." Jungkook tried to lift his head and the entire room spun.

He sipped obediently, his eyes locked with Bang Sihyuk's.

He had more time.
He was fine.

He was nowhere close to how far gone he'd have to be before he'd let Bangtan end.
