Today went like

Any other day

Unremarkable

And ubiquitous

Nothing special

To remember it by

Still,

I wait for you

Hoping,

Like the last scene

Of a movie or

My favourite tv show

You would come by

I had hoped for

Something beautiful to happen

And swept me away.

I thought,

My honeymoon

Would finally start

And my ultraviolence will end

Yet I'm disappointed

Sitting on my bed

With the happiness diary in my hand

Writing something to bring life

In my uneventful life

Because i found a rock

When i searched for a star

And my heart lead astray

I wish you were here

For it would have

Yours to follow

And live to see

Another monotonous day.
