Sometimes

I think of old times

life was simple then

makes me wonder

what will it be like

to be a child again

Eat, play, sleep

how fulfilling it would be

to not know sorrow

and forever at peace

How would it feel like

to not be disappointed

to be unaware of love

and never know

what being unwanted means

my soul would be back together

in a single yellow piece

flowers will smile at me again

Rain won't bring me pain

loneliness will not be a treasure

but then I think

who would that be

who would I be then

because that just wouldn't be me
