Everett's friends ran up to him. They had finally did it. They found proof to prove that Willow was innocent and that they were set up. All they had to do was show Everett the video.

"Hey Everett! We have something to show you!" Mason said, while trying to catch his breath. They were running everywhere around the school to look for their friend, causing them to be out of breath.

"What is it now guys?" Everett says annoyed. He knew what his friends were up to, but he was just fine with Marissa.

Dylan takes out his phone and goes to the video the group had seem to retrieve.

[In the video]

"Okay so this is the plan. Noah is going to go up to Willow, and act as if they have something going on between them. This is to split Everett and Willow up. We all know that Everett belongs with Marissa." Michelle, one of Marissa's friends, said. She just so happened to record everything, which was a benefit for the group.

"You might be thinking, what if Willow rejects him? Well you see, it's all about the power of angles and editing so people see what you want them to see."

"You ready Noah?" Marissa said, eager to get the plan into action.

"Yep, let's go, you got the camera out?" Noah said with a wide smirk.

Noah goes up to Willow, pressed up against her, trapping her between her locker with his arms, and kissed her. Just as the group had suspected, Willow pushed him off and ran away in shock, however, the edited video cut off when Noah pressed their lips together, making it look as if Willow had kissed back.

When Everett was done watching the video, he was furious with Marissa. Somewhere deep down in his heart, he was relieved. He missed Willow more than anything. He couldn't believe that he completely ignored her and went to Marissa instead of just coming to Willow to talk about it. He completely fell for her plan. However, he was happy. He thought that Willow would give him another chance.

Since school had barely ended, that meant that there was a chance that Willow was still at school. He quickly ditched his friends and ran towards Willow's locker. To his luck, she was there.

He ran up to her. "Hey Willow! I just found out that Marissa set everything up. I knew you didn't kiss him back! I'm sorry for doubting you. Now we can get back together! I missed you so much Willow!" The boy said with a smile in his face.

However, Willow was not pleased. Sure, she had forgiven him as she couldn't bring it in her heart to hold a grunge, but she was still a little hurt. He could've came to her and asked her instead of assuming. Though, she understood that he was hurt as well because he had thought that she had kissed another boy.

Suddenly, Willow's phone beeped. She had received a message from Maxwell. A smile was instantly brought to her face as she blushed. It was Friday, meaning it was the day of her date with Maxwell.

I'm here. Where are you?

Just grabbing my stuff. Will be out in a minute.

The thought of Maxwell alone made her happy, but she soon came back to reality, and noticed Everett standing in front of her.

Willow really didn't want anything to do with Everett, she had finally moved on and was happy. She found someone who finally treated her good. Someone who never made fun of her for the little things that she enjoyed. Someone she actually felt sparks with.

"Sorry I have to go. It's in the past, we should just move on. I forgive you, but I can't forget what you did. I'm sorry." Willow said quickly before she walked outside — excited to see Maxwell due to the fact that she hadn't seen him in days because he was busy — her mind completely forgetting about Everett because she was too happy to be worried about him.

Willow quickly ran outside. Spotting Maxwell leaning on his car, which was a black Mercedes-Benz, Willow ran up to him, wrapping her arms around his neck. Immediately, Maxwell responded as he wrapped his arms around her waist, kissing her cheeks as she blushed.

Everett quickly ran after her, wanting to explain to her and win her back somehow. However what he saw in the parking lot, broke his heart. Of course she had moved on, he thought. He saw Willow all cuddled up with Maxwell. He was confused. He didn't understand why Willow was with someone like Maxwell as he had a bad reputation, he was cold hearted and rude, he didn't do relationships, so how could he be with someone as pure and sweet as Willow. His Willow. He felt a pang of jealousy shoot right through him. That should be him that she was hugging. That should be him she was blushing for. He should be the reason for her smiles. Not Maxwell. However, he knew he never treated Willow the best like she deserved, but he didn't care. He wanted her back. His heart ached for the girl who made him smile — who made him feel alive and gave him purpose in life.

Everett ran back inside. He was furious with Marissa.

"Why the hell would you do that Marissa?" The boy asked, his vein was popping out from his neck. His friends had cornered Marissa to confront her, so she wouldn't run away.

"Couldn't you see? I am in love with you. You're so blind. It was always 'Willow this, Willow that', you never once paid any attention to me. So I did what I had to do. I had to separate you two. It's funny how even after my attempt of splitting you to up, you're still in love with her. Don't even try to deny it. Your eyes always wander the halls, looking for her. No matter what I tried to do, you were always thinking about Willow! I thought that maybe if you spent time with me, you'd feel the same. That you would love me back, but I knew that you would always choose her." Marissa said Willow's name as if her name was a raging virus.

"It was always her. There was never a decision. I would always choose her. It was always about you, was it Marissa? If you were in love with me like you claim, you would've been happy for me. Accepted the fact that I was in love with someone else. You're nothing, but obsessed and crazy. My heart will always belong to her, but now you fucked it all up. Now she's with someone else. She's happy. She will never come back to me. She will never be with me ever again. It's all your fault. You couldn't handle the thought of me being happy with her. You're fucking obsessed. Now you fucking ruined my chances." Everett looked at the girl with so much hatred as he punched the nearest locker to him. If looks could kill, she would've been seven feet under. He stalked away in anger.

Maxwell had a surprise for Willow. He knew she wasn't very keen on the whole surprises thing, but he knew that she was going to love this one.

The whole car ride consisted of the two catching up, just communicating and laughing every once in a while. Maxwell felt his heart swell just by seeing Willow smile and laugh, knowing he was the reason for them. After driving for 45 minutes, they finally arrived.

Maxwell made Willow wear a blindfold and wait in the car while he was setting everything up.

After a while, he carefully helped Willow out of the car, making her take slow steps so she doesn't fall and hurt herself. Eventually, they had arrived at the little picnic area that Maxwell set up.

"You can take the blindfold off now baby." Maxwell carefully whispered in her ear, feeling a bit nervous. What if she didn't like it? What if it wasn't enough?

Willow hesitantly took the blindfold off, and what she saw made her smile and tear up a bit.

He had taken her to a field of sunflowers and had a picnic set up for them. Maxwell had remembered Willow talking about how much she absolutely loved sunflowers, so after a few days of researching and asking around, he found this place.

Willow really cherished sunflowers, Maxwell could tell by the way her face lit up. The reason she loved them so much were because sunflowers had heliotropism, which is when the bud of the flower faces the sun at all times throughout the day, starting the day facing east and ending, facing west. She had learned a lot about flowers from her mother, and when she learned about sunflowers, she straight away, fell in love with them. A fun fact she found fascinating was that sunflowers were the only flowers that had the word "flower" in their name. For some reason, she found it amusing.

"Is it too much? Do you like it?" Maxwell asked, nervous to hear her answer. Willow turned around to hug him. "Like it? I love it. Thank you so much!" She replied as she kissed his cheek. He noticed her tears, he must've overwhelmed her. He brought his hand up to wipe away her tears with the pad of his thumb, and hugged her back.

"How did you find this place?" Willow asked as they both sat down on the blanket Maxwell had laid out.

It was quite a long drive, so it couldn't be a coincidence that he just found it, unless it was, but Willow wanted to know.

"My mother used to take me here." Maxwell said smiling as he recalled the memories here with his mother. He was happy that she loved it.

The whole evening was like a dream to Willow. They ate as well as talked, laughed, and then talked some more. It may seem boring, but both of them enjoyed each other's company. When it was time to go home, they couldn't stop smiling. Their cheeks were staring to hurt from how much they laughed and smiled. It was perfect.

Before they knew it, the sun had already set. Willow was sad that she had to leave, but she knew that she could visit whenever she wanted. He could give her the world and more, all she had to do was ask.
