yesterday was our first scene together and today is our first photoshoot.

me and austin are currently in two chairs similar to director chairs and we are both getting our hair and makeup done.

our photos are getting taken in black and white so everything should be pretty simple.

me and austin will be taking a few photos together and then we will each do one or two solo photos.

"you nervous?" austin asks.

"nah, you?" i reply, brushing it off. i'm not really nervous considering i'm used to getting my photo taken.

"no not really." he says and i nod.

"okay your both done." the makeup artists say and i smile.

"thank you guys so much." i say and i watch as they all smile and nod.

one of them goes up to the clothing rack behind them and hands me and austin our outfits.

austin's outfit looks to be a black lace tank top with black trousers and a belt, along with multiple pairs of rings, while mine is just a plain black tank top.

i nod and take my outfit while austin does the same.

we walk side by side in the direction of the changing rooms.

"so what do you think they're gonna make us do?" austin asks.

"a few weird poses and positions that are completely un-natural that they somehow make look natural." i joke and he chuckles.

"in all seriousness they're probably gonna make us get pretty up close and personal." i say and he looks at me, quirking his brow.

"y'know like they're probably going to make me do some dumb shit like sit in your lap." i say and roll my eyes at the memory.

"i'm guessing you've had to do that before?"

"unfortunately, yes." i deadpan.

seconds later we get to the rooms and i go into mine while he goes into his.

i quickly change into my outfit and considering how bland it is i slip on some black leggings and black heels so i'm not naked.

i walk out of the changing room and austin is waiting for me, when he sees me he smiles and i return the gesture.

i also try my best to not let my eyes glance at his torso which is very much visible.

when we reach the room with the white backdrop two photographers turn around to face us, and i can already tell their nice.

"hi i'm emily and this is tyler." the girl says and i smile, holding my hand out so ours can shake.

she gladly accepts and we shake hands, "nice to meet you emily and tyler. " i turn to tyler and we both shake hands.

"nice to meet you as well." he says.

austin does the same thing as me and shakes their hands, but when he's done i don't miss the way he kind of hides behind my body, like that's going to do anything.

you think he'd be used to this considering the amount of times he's gotten his photo taken but i guess it's a personal thing.

"guys can me and austin have a moment? thank you." i say and i grab austin's arm to drag him away before they can say anything.

i pull him over to a quiet area and he gives me a weird look.

"you're nervous aren't you?" i ask and i watch as he scratches the back of his neck while looking down.

yes he definitely is.

i rest my hand on his bicep and i rub the skin gently with my thumb, "you can always say no, you know?" i mention and he smiles.

"it's okay, i just have never liked my picture being taken." he says and i give him a warm smile.

"c'mon." i say and we walk back over to where emily and tyler are.

"so where do you want us?" i ask and emily smiles.

"we actually want to do your solos first so thea you can go first." she says and i nod, walking over to the backdrop.

she tells me the pose i need to do and i hear as she snaps a few photos and tells me one more, my eyes briefly connect with austin's a few times, and he looks to be studying me very hard for some reason.

when she seems satisfied she moves on to austin.

i sit down in the director chair next to the camera and i watch as austin does what she says.

"austin just flex your arm." she says while looking into the lense.

he does it a few times and when she likes it she takes a picture.

"and then austin just turn sideways and look up." tyler instructs and austin does what he says.

i zone out and i finally realize that the whole time they've been plying music in the background to lighten up the mood i guess.

"okay althea you can go stand next to austin now." tyler snaps me out of my zone and i nod, uncrossing my legs and standing up.

i walk next to austin and i give him a smile.

"okay thea can you wrap your left arm around his shoulders?" emily asks and i do it "like this?" i ask and she nods "perfect."

"then just put your other hand like on the back of his neck and kind of make it look like your playing with his hair." she instructs.

i do what she asks but i notice how close austin and me are.

i breath out a laugh "told you, up close and personal." i whisper as i hear some photos being taken.

he does a breathy chuckle.

"could both of you look too the side? thanks." tyler asks and both of our heads turn.

but when i hear the song that comes up next i burst into a fit of giggles.

my arms are still around austin's body but i laugh.

"are you okay?" he asks and puts his hands on my hips to help stabilize me.

"i lost my virginity to this song!" i say which makes me laugh even harder after saying it out loud.

he gives me a weird look and then smiles.

"it's just the dumbest thing ever because i really thought this was the best song to have sex too!" i giggle.

i'm still laughing and to hide the fact i rest my forehead on austin's shoulder.

austin starts laughing with me and i whisper the words, but suddenly i remember emily and tyler are standing there probably wondering what's happening so i pull away and i let one last chuckle slip.

to be honest the whole situation isn't as funny as i made it seem but i just can't stand the fact i lost my virginity to this song.

"sorry." i say and i wipe the tears that were forming.

"it's okay, we got some really good candid photos from that." tyler says and i smile, shrugging my shoulders.

"cool!" personally candid photos are my favorite.

"you guys are done though! good job today." emily says and i walk behind the camera to grab my water.

"thanks, you too!" i reply and they nod, muttering things like 'mhm' or 'thanks'.

i sigh and sit down, taking a big gulp of water while austin sits in the chair next to me.

"that was kind of fun." he says and i smile.

"yeah well i try to make them as fun as possible, they can get boring." i reply and he nods.
