Bai Qian and Feng Jiu were panicking. "Girls, please calm down both of you." Feng Jiu's mother admonished.

"How did you....?"

"How did you....?" Feng Jiu asked Bai Qian

"You both concealed your pregnancies from others. Did Zhe Yan taught you the concealment spell too Bai Qian?"

Bai Qian nodded. "That explains it."

"Gugu please, don't get all fussed up about this." Feng Jiu said.

"Xiao Jiu, don't worry. Please tell me that you will take better care of yourself. I can't believe that you were kidnapped while being pregnant!!!"

"Gugu, the only ones who know about my pregnancy besides Dong Hua, are mom and Zhe Yan and now you."

"I bet that you didn't wanted me to know either."

"Well looks who's talking hiding yours as well."

"Bai Qian, we don't want to disclose Xiao Jiu's condition with anyone else."

"Don't worry I fully understand. Ye Hua feels the same way with our pregnancy. There are too many hidden dangers at high court. We are keeping close taps on Ali's education to prevent damaging influences. So, I can comprehend why you and Dijun are being discreet about yours too. Please tell me that your kidnapper has been caught."

"I haven't got the chance to talk to Dijun about that situation yet. But I'm certain that grandfather and father are hunting him down. Dijun enforced Tai Chen security for that reason."

"When we hugged my baby jumped in my tummy. It was a strange, strong and quick feeling. She must had experienced the same reaction that I did to figured out my pregnancy. I wonder what that means." Feng Jiu went into a pensive mode. Her mother was observing her closely.

"Mother, I will be resting early today. I feel overly tired."

"It must be the pregnancy sweetheart. Don't worry is normal. Go rest."

"If you want to help out grandmother and gugu tomorrow morning, it will be fine with me. I will sleep in late. That way you won't be bored. The maids will take care of my needs they know what I like, when I wake up, whenever that will be."

"You won't mind being alone for a couple of hours?"

"No mama, I will probably be sleeping. That's the only activity I want to do for now. My body needs rest."

"Okay Xiao Jiu. If you need me send for me immediately."

"No problem."

Feng Jiu retired for her chambers; she noticed a letter on the table. "Huh? Who could it be from?" Feng Jiu thought. She opened the letter to read "I miss you" Feng Jiu smiled.

"Dijun misses me. I will write a reply." Feng Jiu grabbed a piece of paper and began her writing a letter to her beloved husband.

At Miao Yi Hui Ming Realm...

Yan Chiwu special forces brought back the elusive traitor. "Demon Lord, here is the conspirator as per your request." They dragged his body and placed it on Yan Chiwu feet.

"Is he alive?" Yan Chiwu asked.

"He still is." The general replied.

Yan Chiwu laughed out loud. "You are in for a treat my friend." Yan Chiwu glared at his face.

"You will greatly pay for this Yan Chiwu!!" Cang Yi replied.

"On the contrary, you will greatly receive your just rewards soon. Take him to the darkest dungeon"

"Yes, Demon Lord."

Yan Chiwu sent a missive to Dong Hua. "The rat has been caught"

Minutes later Dong Hua appeared at Miao Yi Hui Ming Realm, Yan Chiwu greeted him. "Dijun"

"Take me to him." Dong Hua sternly expressed.

"Right this way Dijun." Yan Chiwu took Dong Hua thru a massive underground cave where they kept their most valuable prisoners.

"There he is, the mighty Dong Hua Dijun." Cang Yi shouted.

"Wait outside." Dong Hua commanded him.

"Yes Dijun." Yan Chiwu left the dungeon but hid behind a pillar nearby to witness everything.

"You used your filthy dog to do your dirty work!! How creative. You could have found me if you wanted to. You lazy bastard." Cang Yi insulted Dong Hua.

"My, my, this naughty eagle is full of energy today too bad your wings have been clipped. You can't fly out now. You crossed a line that shouldn't been crossed."

"I crossed a line? How about you? You took someone that it didn't belong to you. Feng Jiu was destined to be with me ever since I noticed her way back. I loved her; she was supposed to be my wife. But you interfered in our lives. You couldn't leave her alone and manipulated her feelings to be with you knowing that I had a marriage arrangement with her. She was my destined queen and you snatched her away from me. You disgusting old sack of bones and crib robber."

"Destined queen?" Dong Hua shrugged at his comment. "My Dihou didn't belong to you in the first place. She made it clear to you that she didn't want to marry you. Her feelings are pure towards me, we belong with each other."

"You tainted her heart with your evil intents and manipulative ways. You can fool her family but not me. I had a chance to be with her and you ruined it."

"You have guts to talk to me this way. You said that you loved her? What type of love inflicts harm to others the way that you did? You harmed my Dihou and that is something I can't tolerate. You signed your death sentence the day you decided to betray our allegiance and brought shame to your clan and your family. Allying yourself with that evil monster Miao Lou to destroy us."

"My father is innocent of my wrong doings. I acted alone to give Maio Lou a chance to rule and kill you once and for all."

"Miao Lou killing me? Dong Hua shrugged "Wishful thinking. She doesn't possess the power to do so. No one does."

"She knows about your weakness and she will succeed on harming you and make you suffer. I'm rooting for that!"

"Nobody will touch and harm my Dihou again and that is a guaranteed."

"Want a bet? If Feng Jiu can't be mine, then she will not be with you no more. She will die and leave you to rot alone. You can kill me and get away with it but you can't defy fate no longer. All debts must be paid in full you bastard and yours is way past due. I want you to be miserable for the rest of your deplored lifetime."

Dong Hua approached him, his black stone eyes fuming with ire "Feng Jiu is mine you insolent dreg. No one will separate us. Not even death!

Since you're eager to die I will grant your wish. But I want to you suffer, I won't grant you a quick death. I have a present for you, think of it as a parting gift." Dong Hua opened him up with his bare hands from his chest down and then placed flesh eating crawlers inside of his body and then sealed him up back again.

"My little friends will do a fine job butchering you slowly from the inside out. That will teach you not to mess with me and my Dihou. Nobody crosses me and live to tell the tale. I swore to bring her justice and this will be the way. Now meet your fate you naughty eagle." He turned around to hear Cang Yi agonizing screams.

"What was that? Ahhh music to my ears!!!" Dong Hua evilly smiled and left the cell.

"Under no circumstances you will kill him when he begs you to do it. He will greatly suffer for what he did before he dies." He said to Yan Chiwu.

"Yes Dijun." Yan Chiwu replied.

"When he finally dies, burn his body and send his ashes to his father."

"Yes Dijun." Dong Hua disappeared on a red mist.

The rebel army commanded by Miao Lou arrived at Qing Qui territory. Miao Lou was trying to break Qing Qui security forcefield. Dong Hua felt it.

Mo Yan and the entire army were ready to engage combat. They were waiting on Mo Yan orders. The heavy artillery was upfront under the Bai Clan control. Bai Zhi was eager to relieve his old battle days. "I smell the blood spilled on the ground already and it will not be mine"

The high deities were up on a hill scanning the battle formations. Dong Hua, Zhe Yan, Mo Yan, Ye Hua and Bai Zhi were in charge of the bigger divisions. Each one was in position keenly waiting.

"Brothers let us remember why we are fighting for." Mo Yan reminded them.

"For Qing Qui" Bai Zhi said

"For a greater era" Zhe Yan said

"For peace in all realms" Ye Hua said.

The moment all were fearing came to pass, Miao Lou finally broke the security forcefield.

To kill this evil monster once and for all.... Dong Hua said.

"All right everyone ready? GOOOOOOOOOO" Mo Yan yelled.

All hell broke loose.

Each battalion crossed weapons with the rebel army. The war cries of the brave ones were heard on the field. Miao Lou was patiently waiting for Dong Hua to come into action. All around was nothing but a whirlwind of disorder and violence, a blur of color and vicious motion. The sound was barely enough to obscure the cries of men, the screams of injured beasts, and the thunder of steel striking steel. The Bai army forcefully eradicated the upfront threat; however, the rebel army knowing their stratagems fortified their defenses.

Bai Zhen along with Bai Yi were getting exhausted. "We can't yield our forces Bai Zhen, we have to lure them into the centerfield."

Part of the celestial army under Lian Song command, were paving the way for the Bai army to reach the centerfield.

Cang Yi father's army were at the left side of the field eliminating their share of rebels.

Miao Lou did some hand movements to revive the fallen soldiers from her army, making it harder for our heroes to kill them. Making them exert their militaries in desperation.

The situation was turning on her favor at the battle field.

Meanwhile at Tai Chen Palace....

Feng Jiu taking advantage of the fact that she was alone, took the time to study the ancient magic scrolls she took from Dong Hua's secret library. The spells were complex and difficult. She needed to bring forth her core powers in order to succeed. Feng Jiu continued to practice until she finally subjugated them. Her next move will depend on her keenness to leave the palace. She meditated on how she was going to thrive her plan.

In another part at Nine Heavens, the fox women were keeping taps on the ongoing war. They were taking Qing Qui refugees who were telling the latest updates. Qing Qui was in dire situation.

"I need to check on Xiao Jiu." Feng Jiu's mother said to the Fox Empress and Bai Qian.

"Go in peace, we have everything settled here." Bai Qian replied to her.

Zhong Li and some of the Tai Chen personnel were assisting the crisis relief for the war victims. They were all busy making sure that every refugee was taken care of.

"Xiao Jiu sweetheart." Feng Jiu's mother shouted.

"In here mama"

"Are you okay? How are you feeling? You look spent darling; didn't you rest at all?"

Mother, you have many questions. I'm okay, but I need your help with something important."

"Tell me what do you need."

"I need to borrow something from you."

"Huh? What are you talking about?"

"Mama, I don't have time to explain things in detail. You are the only one I trust and I'm running out of time."

"Xiao Jiu, what exactly are you planning to do?"

"Please trust me mother."

"Trust you? You are up to something dangerous, aren't you?"

"Are you willing to help me out?"

"You know I do, but..."

"Then is settled."

"Now hold on a minute Xiao Jiu; I haven't agreed to do anything yet." Feng Jiu's mother annoyingly said.

Feng Jiu saw how her mother was getting angry at her. She didn't want to explain things to her knowing that she won't agree to it. The only way to do it was to put her mother to sleep so she can proceed with her plan.

"Mama, I dearly love you and I hope that one day you can forgive me after all of this is over." And with that Feng Jiu casted a deep sleep spell on her mother. "Duìbùqǐ mama."

Feng Jiu proceeded with the forbidden powerful spell. She produced the magical gauze with their bodily discharges from the last time Dong Hua and her were together, along with a small bottle of his golden blood that she collected from him. She made a small cut from her finger and mixed her blood along with Dong Hua's. After that she read the incantation words from the scroll to harvest a safe environment for her fetus to thrive on. She was taking her time to encapsulate her baby and safely transfer it into her mother's womb. It was a lengthy incantation. After she finished, she casted a hiding spell on her mother to hide the pregnancy from everyone else. Then she went to rest to regain some of her lost cultivation. After her much needed sleep, Feng Jiu casted out the sleeping spell from her mother and acted like nothing happened.

"Mama, are you feeling all right?"

"Xiao Jiu, what happened?"

"You fainted and I had to hauled you to bed. You don't remember anything?"

"I only remember that you asked me to help you and needed to borrow something from me. What was it darling?"

"Nothing mother. I simply wanted something different to eat, but my craving passed. Not to worry."

"Are you sure sweetheart?"

"I'm sure."

"If you don't mind, I will sleep a bit more, I feel overly tired out of the sudden. Can you manage a couple of hours by yourself? Zhong Li still busy with your grandmother."

"I'll be okay mama, don't worry. Rest as much as you need." Feng Jiu fixed her mother quilt and tucked her in.

Bai Qian was notified that the Nine Heavens were under attack. The security forcefield was breached by some of Miao Lou forces. Their target: Tai Chen Palace.
