Feng Jui was at her study buried in paperwork. She was reviewing the eastern lands documents that Migu placed on her table. She came across a scroll that her grandmother left her to read. The subject caught her attention.

There is no doubt that there is great value assigned to external beauty. For some how they look physically is simply an expression and celebration of their internal beauty, but often those who are physically attractive are emotionally unattractive. To be beautiful inside and out, you must possess more than a pretty shell.

1. Elegance: Elegance is that dignified grace about your appearance, movement, personal style or behavior. To be elegant is to be strong and assured in who you are and to move gently within that energy.

"I need to thank my grandmother for this lesson. I need to study this lecture further." Feng Jiu smiled.

Migu came to her study to remind her about her next appointment in her agenda. "Your highness may I remind you that you are to appear today at the children class at school before mid-morning. It is your day to share a story with the small children class. I already chosen the book your highness."

"Thank you Migu. Please deliver this scroll to my chambers. I need to study it further. The rest of the documents have been reviewed and stamped. Have disperse them appropriately." Feng Jiu handed the scroll to Migu.

"Yes your highness." Migu left Feng Jiu's study.

"Oh well let me fulfill my duties. Feng Jiu stretched out, got up from her study and left for the children's school."

Dong Hua returned to Qing Qui Palace, after his meeting with Ye Hua. He was looking for his beloved wife. She was nowhere around. "Migu where is Dihou?"

Migu materialized a scroll in his hand. "Her highness is at the children school today. According to her schedule it is her day to read a story to some of the small school children."

Children class? He thought.

Migu seeing Dong Hua's puzzled expression decided to guide him where the children school were. He hide behind an invisibility shield and went to look for his little fox. He found her at a classroom full of small children listening attentively while she finishes reading them a story. Their eyes were glued to the sound of her voice.

"Be not afraid of growing slowly, be afraid only of standing still. The end." All the kids were complaining about how the story ended.

"Your highness please read us another story please" The children were whining at her.

"Perhaps another day, I have other commitments that are set on my agenda. In the meantime, does anyone have questions about the story that we read?"

One small boy lifted his hand. "Yes? What is your name young man?"

"My name is Xiao Gun. Xiao Gun greets her highness Qing Qui Queen Bai Feng Jiu, Dong Hua Dijun Dihou from Tai Chen Palace." The small boy bowed to Feng Jiu and remained as such waiting for Feng Jiu's directive.

Dong Hua smiled at the boy's greeting.

Feng Jiu found it funny that a small boy properly greeted her using all her royal titles. "Rise Xiao Gun, please state your question."

"I ask if her highness let me speak freely?" Xiao Gun asked Feng Jiu.

"You may Xiao Gun, go ahead." Feng Jiu motion him with her hand.

"Thank you, her highness. If we show fear while growing up doesn't that mean that we aren't really progressing? I mean after all most of us as children develop skills and abilities in roughly the same order, but the timeframes involved aren't exact. Every child grows and develops at an individual pace gaining independence and competence quickly. We still need that our parents set limits and encourage healthy habits to promote our rapid growth and development. So what I don't understand is the fear factor in our growth journey." Xiao Gun scratch his head while making his point.

Feng Jiu was astonished at the little boy perception. She wasn't expecting this type of question from the small children's class. "Do you read Buddhist scriptures Xiao Gun?"

"They are one of my favorite subjects your highness. Other children find them boring, but I found them interesting." Xiao Gun said while smiling at Feng Jiu.

"No wonder your perception level is quite developed" Feng Jiu smirked. "Are you familiar with the Cave of the Blue Dragon scripture Xiao Gun?"

Xiao Gun smiled at Feng Jiu "The cave of the blue dragon is ominous. Only the fearless dare to enter. It is here that the forest of patterns is clearly revealed. It is here that the one ripe pearl is hidden."

Dong Hua was also astonished at the small boy perception level of Buddhist scriptures. He couldn't contain his curiosity, so he decided to materialize in front of the classroom.

All children stood from their seats and bowed to Dong Hua: "Dijun"

Feng Jiu was startled by his sudden appearance. She smiled at her husband. "Hmmm, all rise." Dong Hua said. "Xiao Gun I'm curious to know how well you understand this scripture. Do you know it's meaning?' Dong Hua asked the little boy.

Xiao Gun was honored that Dong Hua came and talked to him. "Xiao Gun greets Dong Hua Dijun from Shaoyan Mansion, former Heavenly Lord and Ruler of all realms and Qing Qui Prince Consort."

"Rise Xiao Gun. Go ahead and enlighten me." Dong Hua stared at the little boy with such wonder.

Xiao Gun got up, stand in front of Dijun, took a long breath and said: "The cave of the blue dragon is where we store all of our stuff—our psychological bilge, so to speak—and it's very difficult to go there. It takes a certain degree of fearlessness to do that. The process of zazen engages that. It engages the fear, in order to empower fearlessness. When stuff comes up, we don't use zazen as another vehicle for suppression. When something keeps coming up in meditation, that's a signal that you need to deal with it. You need to process it. You need to process it thoroughly and fearlessly, to feel it and experience it, then let it go and come back to the moment."

Dong Hua was impressed: "And how are we supposed to handle the fear factor Xiao Gun?"

"By fearing the right thing." Xiao Gun answered.

"You are correct Xiao Gun. Under normal circumstances fear is not a problem, which is why it's not listed among the afflictions in Buddhism. Fear is a healthy thing, in general. It is awareness of danger. Fear is protective; it's what helps us to avoid wandering into a hungry lion's den. The truth of suffering is not a doomsday prediction. It is not expressing an inevitable destiny. On the contrary, it alerts us to the fact that we are not being aware of what we really are. We are deluded about suffering. We ought to be aware of our suffering. We should be afraid of suffering, in fact. Otherwise, why would we have any reason to do anything about it? Fear will motivate us to try to understand the world and ourselves, and when we do, we will come to appreciate the second noble truth: that suffering is caused by a habit of constructing an absolute self. We go through life being absolute, as if no one else matters, but we can look at that habit and come to learn that it doesn't work. We can develop deep concentration, deep meditation about that and ultimately free ourselves from that gut feeling of being "the real me," opposed to everything and everyone else. If we don't overcome this sense of self-absoluteness, we will descend into the lower realms of being. That is something it is reasonable to fear. Do you understand Xiao Gun?"

"I do Dijun, starting out with the right kind of fear is the way to fearlessness."

Dong Hua nodded to the little boy satisfied with his answer.

"Thank you Dijun for taking your valuable time to talk to our classroom today." Feng Jiu cheerfully said. "How do we say children?"

"Thank you, his Lordship Dong Hua Dijun, for enlighten us today." All children said in unison.

"Class dismissed." Feng Jiu said. Xiao Gun stayed behind and came to bow in front of Dijun.

"What is it Xiao Gun?" Dong Hua said.

"The journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step." Xiao Gun eagerly told Dijun.

Dijun looked at Xiao Gun attentively and answered him: "" Dijun replied to the little boy.

Xiao Gun understood his answer. He nodded and smiled at Dijun and left running with a grin on his face. Dong Hua was happy to see this little boy enjoying a mutual subject so much.

"What was that all about husband?" Feng Jiu asked Dong Hua looking at their interaction.

"Xiao Gun is an exceptional little boy. It caught my eye. I wonder if his parents are as intelligent as he is." Dong Hua pondered.

"I'm not familiar with Xiao Gun parents. But I'm sure they should be extraordinary as he is. Xiao Gun is a well educated child." Feng Jui absently said. Xia Gun had left a lasting impression on them, like if they were connected somehow.

"I agree Jiu'er. But coming back to you, I found my wife surrounded by children today. It made me realize something." Dong Hua playfully said.

"What is it?" Feng Jiu asked.

Dong Hua pulled Feng Jiu to his chest and seductively said "Our den has plenty space for a couple of xiǎo húlíes" His voice made Feng Jiu shivered to her core.

Feng Jiu blinked twice at his face. "You want to have children Dong Hua?" Her tone was alarmed.

"Why not?" Dong Hua sulked at Feng Jiu.

"Husband, I'm not against it, but right now I'm not ready yet. I want to enjoy our time as a couple in our first years of marriage before we decide to form our own family. Besides my duties take a lot of my time right now." She lowered her head waiting for his answer.

"I know, I just want you to know that although we haven't talked about it yet. I will love to have children with you Jiu'er, whenever you are ready. I won't force you to have them if you don't want them yet." Dong Hua caressed her face.

"How can I resist his handsome face. I love you husband." Dong Hua tenderly kissed her forehead.

"I love you my little fox" Dong Hua earnestly looked at her doe eyes. He can't resist her intense glare. So many emotions radiate from her eyes. "My Jiu'er you are so irresistible. May I remind Qing Qui Queen of her payment terms, I came to collect a portion of it." Dong Hua heatedly said.

"Already his Lordship wants to collect payment?" Feng Jiu batted her eyes to him.

Dong Hua grabbed her waist and teleported them back to Qing Qui Palace. "Let's go to the kitchen first and get some light snacks" Feng Jiu said.

Dijun carried her over his shoulder. "Oh no, you are not going away from me that easy little fox." Dong Hua grunted.

"Ahhhhh, Dong Hua put me down!!!" She was giggling at Dong Hua. He carried her over his shoulder all the way to the kitchen.

Meanwhile, Zhong Li had come to Qing Qui to deliver some scrolls to Dijun. He was received by Migu.

"I'm his Lordship Dijun steward from Tai Chen Palace. I have come to deliver some scrolls that Dijun asked me to get for him."

"Please come in. Dijun went to look for her highness at the children school. They should be here soon." Migu told Zhong Li. He pointed at a seating area for him to wait for Dijun.

Suddenly, Migu and Zhong Li heard loud noises coming from the kitchen. They looked at each other and decided to find out what was going on. As they came near the kitchen, they heard moaning sounds.

Migu stopped at his tracks "Oh no, not again" Migu rolled his eyes.

"What is it Migu?" Zhong Li worryingly asked.

"These two are like horny foxes humping each other every chance they get. They don't care at all. My poor heart can't handle this." Migu said.

"You mean..." Zhong Li asked.

"Yes them." Migu affirmative said.
