Crown Prince Ye Hua and Crown Princess Bai Qian day for the heavenly trial for their throne ascension finally came. The heavenly emperor and empress seals were prepared. All high rank immortals were inside the heavenly high court to witness the ceremony. Dong Hua and Feng Jiu along with the Bai Clan were among the audience. Feng Jiu new status gave her access to the high court to sit at her husband side. A special bais seat was placed next to Dijun. Everyone knew now that Qing Qui Queen was Dong Hua's Dihou. She learned to emulate Dijun's cold expression, so nobody dared to approach her directly.

Ye Hua and Bai Qian stood outside to receive their ascension strikes. Each one received 40 lighting strikes and 7 thunder bolts, leaving them both exhausted.

After their ascension, they went back the hall to complete the second part of the ceremony and be greeted as the new Heavenly Lord and Lady. At a week time their coronation will take place. They needed time to recuperate. They were in charge of the medicine king & Zhe Yan care.

Bai Qian survived her heavenly ascension. She was glad that this ordeal was over. It was the first time that she felt the fury of the lighting strikes. Her shifu took her ascension strikes for her thousands of years ago and so did Ye Hua. She mentally prepared to handle the pain.

Back at their quarters they laid down resting. "Qian Qian how are you holding up?" Ye Hua was concerned about his beloved.

"I'm not as young as you Ye Hua, but will I recuperate, and will be back to my normal self. It's a good thing that we properly prepared and spend time cultivating for this moment, otherwise I don't think I would've survived this."

"I promise you that you won't have to endure something like this again." Ye Hua caressed her face.

"Now that our lives will change Ye Hua, I'm anxious for Ali. He's still a babe and needs to prepare for his ascension being so young. Everyone will expect him to surpass your expectations just like you did your brother. It's too much pressure for him to bear. Not to mention that he's already studying hard trying to follow your steps. Can you be more flexible with him? I don't want him to feel the pressure that you endured when you were a child. Please Ye Hua, have some leniency with Ali." Bai Qian pleaded to Ye Hua.

"Qian Qian, I know that this worries you, but Ali has big shoes to fill. I will make sure that his upbringing will be completely different than mine. But his early preparation will help him in the future when he inherits the heavenly throne. We will guide him with love, care and wisdom when he feels overwhelmed. Don't you worry about it." Ye Hua kissed her forehead.

"Ye Hua I understand his role and responsibilities, I only ask you that please don't diminish his fox side. Part of him has a carefree spirit, which is a fox trait. I don't want that to disappear from his life, it's part of who he is. You did an excellent job raising him by yourself as single parent, when I lost my memory. Now that I'm back in his life I want to nurture his fox side and teach him our history, culture and way of living. After all he carries both of our genes. We don't know how powerful he'll become when he grows up."

"I promise you Qian Qian that we will personally be in charge on raising our son. He will not be separated from us, like it happened to me. Just trust me on pushing him a bit. Afterall Ali is very smart and he is already exceling in all of his studies. Nine Heavens is not Qing Qui which means he needs to work extra hard to fulfill his role as the future Crown Prince. I know that he wants to prove his worth to me."

"Yes, he does. He greatly suffered when you were asleep. Your parents pushed him to study hard. I believe that changed him a bit, just let him enjoy his childhood phase, so he can be more balanced so he can enjoy it too without harboring any regrets. He is a well-behaved kid but has his silly moments and gets into trouble, not as much as I when I was his age."

"I'm grateful for that!" Ye Hua smirked at Bai Qian.

"Hey!!!" Bai Qian protested.

"Qian Qian I might be younger than you but my patience and tolerance have its limits. I want to give our son anything and everything he needs to be a great ruler. Better than you and me together. But I don't wish to chase him down the halls like a maniac father, lose my composure and have grey hairs before my time. I've seen his mischievous side Qian Qian, he looks like you when acts that way." Ye Hua laughed.

"Just remember that Ali is a happy child and not a mini version of you."

"Actually, he's a mini version of us" Ye Hua lovingly said to his beloved.

"Us" Bai Qian smiled at Ye Hua.

"Yes, my love, us." Ye Hua embraced her and they both slept.

A week later...

Ye Hua and Qian Qian coronation ceremony as Heavenly Lord and Lady was hosted in the Great Dragon Hall. Everyone who was everyone was present. The Bai Clan was honorable seated a row below Dong Hua and Feng Jiu. Deities were whispering about how the fox tribe was gaining power and prestige.

MoYan and the Kun Lun disciples were present too. Even Demon Lord Yan Chiwu was honored to be invited, minus his wife of course. Lord Xu Yang accompanied him along with Lord Nie Chuyin. He was staring at the Bai Clan trying to get an angle to fulfill his mission.

The room was full at its capacity. The auspicious hour has come and the announcer stated the arrival of the Crown Prince & Crown Princess. Everyone was at their feet and the coronation ceremony took place.

Ye Hua and Bai Qian were wearing elegant silk white ceremony robes. Beautifully ornated; made with the rarest and most expensive silk from Qing Qui's region. Tianjun read the royal decree, the oaths were taken. He then placed their respective crowns on their heads. After that he stepped down his throne and Ye Hua and Qian Qian stepped right in. The Nine Heavens now had a new Heavenly Lord and Lady.

All of the guests were taken to the Great Reception Hall for the coronation banquet. Everyone was encouraged to have a good time. Feng Jiu was hesitant to leave Dijun's arm so she stayed with him.

"Jiu'er, why are you clinging to my arm? Don't you want to greet your family and friends?"

"I'm afraid to do something that will shame you here husband." Feng Jiu answered him.

Dong Hua hold her chin up and earnestly said to her: "My love, I will not be ashamed by the way you act, if anyone has a problem with you, they can come to me. Now go and have fun, I'll be here waiting for you." He kissed her forehead, her nose and then her lips in front of everyone at the hall. All eyes were on them. People were whispering about their bold demonstration of his love for her.

Feng Jiu's face was blushed with embarrassment. She didn't know that everyone paid attention to their loveable display. Dong Hua shamelessly smiled, took her hand and walked over where her family was. Her mother received her with open arms. "Kittling, come here sweetheart."

"Mama, I'm glad that you are here to save me." Feng Jiu hugged her mother.

"Thank you Dijun for bringing her here."

"No need, I have some things that I need to take care of. She can have all the fun she wants." Dong Hua gave her another chaste kiss on the lips and left her side.

"How is my little munchkin?" Zhe Yan surprised her from behind.

"Great Uncle Zhe Yan, I missed you!" Feng Jiu hugged him tight.

"You look well Xiao Jiu." Bai Yi came next to his wife.

"Thank you, father." Feng Jiu smiled at Bai Yi but did not hugged him.

"How's married life going?" Bai Yi asked.

"Everything is good." Feng Jiu happily answered.

"We've seen how Dijun is treating you. Everyone here is envious at you two." Bai Zhen said.

Zi Lan and Yan Chiwu came to greet Feng Jiu. They stayed at safe a distance, since she was with her family. But Feng Jiu saw them waiting for her.

"Big brothers, come here!" she signaled them. It was a rare occasion to see them together.

Feng Jiu's family was surprised to hear her greet them so casually in public. They were unaware of their relationship.

"Ohhhh how I missed you guys." She tightly hugged them both at the same time. "I'm so happy to see you both!!!" Feng Jiu happiness radiated from her face.

"Aaiyaa Jiu Gue me me" Yan Chiwu laughed returning her hug.

"Jiu Gue?" Zi Lan asked Yan Chiwu.

"That how I greet her Zi Lan, we've been friends since she was a kittling."

"Can we greet you so casually now that you are a Dihou?" Zi Lan asked Feng Jiu.

"Of course, you guys can! You are my dear brothers" Feng Jiu happily padded their shoulders.

"We don't want cause any trouble with Dijun. We know how jealous and possessive he is of you." Zi Lan said.

"Dijun knows who I care for and what place I hold them in my heart. He trusts me. The ones that impose their will on me are the ones that he has trouble with. Anyways, we have so much to talk about. Let's find a seating area and talk our hearts out shall we?"

"Lead the way Dihou." Zi Land gestured.

They sat in a seating area and started to chat while drinking tea. Laughing out loud and chatting.

From another corner of the reception hall a game of a cat catching a mouse was eagerly developing. Nie Chuyin was paying close attention to Feng Jiu's conversation with the twin brothers. After a while he casually moved around to the Bai family, trying to pick up their conversation as well.

Lord Xu Yang suspiciously saw how Nie Chuyin was moving around the hall to be close to the Bai family. He started to follow him.

They didn't realize that Dijun was eyeing them both attentively. Discerning their true motives and intentions. Lian Song saw Dijun signaling him with his eyes to pay close attention to them. Lian Song nodded and smoothly followed them.

Mo Yan and Zhe Yan perceived Dong Hua's distraught and came by his side to participate on the hunt. The trio opened a telepathic channel and started a secret conversation:

"What's going on here? What are you doing Dong Hua"? Mo Yan asked.

"Seems like we have a naughty rat on our turf that needs to be sent back crawling to its hole." Dong Hua answered.

"Typical demon behavior" Zhe Yan said.

"They think they are so smart" Mo Yan said.

"Did you put a tap on him?" Zhe Yan asked.

"Of course, I did. He's up to something with the Bai family. I sent Lian Song to follow them." Dijun answered.

"From what I see it looks like Nie Chuyin is doing a reconnaissance mission." Mo Yan interjected.

"I agree. Let's ruin his assignment and play with him for a while, shall we? I will signal Lian Song so he can play with us." Dijun wickedly smiled.

"I'm in" Zhe Yan said

"Me too" Mo Yan also said.

"I'm on it" Lian Song joined in.

"Then follow my lead". Dijun answered to everyone.

Nie Chuyin was walking towards the refreshment table, without noticing he bumped into Lian Song, who suddenly appeared out of nowhere in front of him.

"Your Highness Third Prince my sincere apologies, I wasn't paying attention" Nie Chuyin regrettably expressed.

"No need to apologize Lord Nie Chuyin it was an honest mistake. Here let me take care of you." Lian Song served him a drink.

"Oh, I feel honored. Thank you, Your Highness Third Prince," Nie Chuyin drank it in one gulp.

"My pleasure." Lian Song signaled the rest "The bug has been implanted"

"Zhe Yan you are on" Dijun commanded.

Zhe Yan discretely made a swift hand movement towards Nie Chuyin. After a couple a minutes Nie Chuyin started to feel uncomfortable grabbing his stomach. His insides were grumbling in pain.

"Mo Yan you're next" Dijun commanded.

Mo Yan robbed his eyesight and hearing. Nie Chuyin started to shout. "What is happening to me? I can't see or hear anything." He needed to escape the room to find a way to relief himself and soon, his stomach was hurting really bad. He started to run trying to find a doorway, stumbling along his way. When he understood he was alone, he squatted and proceeded to relief himself. When he finished, Mo Yan returned his eyesight and hearing back, just to find himself defecating in the middle of the reception hall, surrounded by all the guests that were present.

Everyone was shocked at the scene. They were covering their noses while looking at him infuriated. Lord Xu Yang and Yan Chiwu were looking at him raging mad. "Are you done?" Yan Chiwu asked him.

Huh? Nie Chuyin managed to say. He remained squatting.

"What are you doing Lord Nie Chuyin? This is an embarrassment to your clan." Ye Hua furiously said to him. "Please take your leave." He commanded him.

"We humbly apologize on behalf of our tribe Tianjun Ye Hua, we are terribly sorry to ruin your evening." Lord Xu Yang bowed to Ye Hua.

Nie Chuyin stood up and disappeared from the scene leaving a pile of dung in the middle of the reception hall. Some of the guests were outraged by the event. Others couldn't contain their laughter.

Everyone was encouraged to leave the room to breathe fresh air. The festivities will continue the next day in another hall room.

Dong Hua, Mo Yan, Zhe Yan and Lian Song stood outside silently grinning at the sky.

Ahhh, the sweet taste of revenge!!! They all said in unison telepathically.
