At Tai Chen Palace

Bai Zhi was trying to reason with his son with no avail. Suddenly Bai Zhen received Migu's missive, he read it and he frowned giving the letter to Zhe Yan.

"Please don't let Qian Qian know that Feng Jiu might be in danger. She has the tendency to act without thinking. We won't want to worry about her safety too." Bai Zhi pleaded to Ye Hua.

"And for that we are grateful Dijun. We will take our leave" Bai Zhi said, grabbing his son's arm and leaving the study hurriedly. Ye Hua also left. Zhe Yan stayed behind with Dong Hua.

"Why do you think they left in a hurry Dong Hua?" Zhe Yan asked while smiling.

"My guess is the same as yours", Dong Hua smiled at Zhe Yan. "Care for a cup of tea?"

"Why not?" Zhe Yan replied.

Zhong Lin came with a tray of tea and some cakes. And they chatted for a while.
