As you walked out of the ruins, you felt a chill in your spine, and it wasn't just the snow (How the F**CK does it snows underground?), You felt like someone was watching you the entire time, but you just shrugged off the feeling and kept walking until you heard a snap. When you looked back you saw a broken stick in the ground

(Y/n): Oh yeah... I forgot about this...

Chara: How did you forget about this?

(Y/n): I dunno, I was kinda busy trying to take control over my own body, but I don't think that's it

You then reached a bridge and heard the snow shuffle behind you and felt someone approaching you

???: Human... Don't you know how t-

You just interrupted him turning back to face him

(Y/n): Heya Sans... It's been a while...

Sans: Heh... I can see that you've changed a bit, and tibia honest, I wasn't expecting you to come back

(Y/n): You honestly thought that I'd just abandon the underground like that? No... I made a promise to you...

Sans: You shouldn't make promises kid, sometimes you can't keep them

(Y/n): Welp... They keep an eye socket on me, kay?

Sans lets out a little chuckle

Sans: Guess you know the deal, you can go straight through the bars

(Y/n): They really are too wide to stop anyone, but at least he tried

You both go through the gate and chat for a while

Sans: So... You're gonna hide behind the lamp?

(Y/n): Don't think so, maybe if he thinks that you've "captured" me...

Sans: What?

(Y/n): He's coming

Papyrus then shows up a little annoyed

Papyrus: Sans! Have you captured a human yet?

Sans: Yep, here he is

(Y/n): Sup?

Papyrus: Oh, it's alright then

Papyrus walks off leaving you and Sans alone while Chara keeps looking at him dumbfounded

Sans: That was...

(Y/n):... Weird... But I guess it went well

Sans: Yeah, welp, see you later kid, I've got a ton of work to do... A skele-ton

(Y/n): You're just gonna sleep

Sans: Suuuure kiddo

Sans then disappears in thin air leaving you and Chara alone until Jerry appears

Jerry: Hey man, do you have some internet there? I was talking to a friend and...

Chara: No, not gonna deal with this weirdo, let's go

She tries to grab your hand but it somehow phases through you and she looks kinda red, but it could just be her pink cheeks, so you just walk away leaving Jerry behind. While you were walking, you've encountered several monsters and just ignores them like they didn't even exist, of course, you got hit sometimes but nothing too much, except for your (S/f/c) pants that got thorn above the left knee, which was a shame, it really was a good piece of clothing, but it wasn't a big deal.

Papyrus: So... As I was saying about Undyne...

(Y/n): Hey guys! What's up?

Sans: Hey, isn't that a human over there?

Papyrus: WHERE???

(Y/n): I'm... Right here...

Chara: Oh gosh

Papyrus then looks at you only noticing your presence now and Sans looks at your side looking uncomfortable and you notice that he's looking at Chara

Chara: Uh...

Papyrus: THERE YOU ARE! BE PREPARED HUMAN, BECAUSE FROM NOW ON YOU'LL FACE VARIOUS PUZZLES CREATED BY ME! BECAUSE I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS SHALL BE THE ONE TO CAPTURE A HUMAN! AND ONCE I HAVE COMPLETED MY TASK, I'LL BE ONE MEMBER OF THE ROYAL GUARD! AN-

(Y/n): Ok, ok, you said puzzles?

Papyrus: Is that too hard?

(Y/n): Welp. Let's see, I look forward to testing them puzzles, big guy

Papyrus gains a big smile and walks away

Sans: That worked out just fine

(Y/n): He's not that good at puzzles, is he?

Sans: At least he tries his best

(Y/n): Does he have friends?

Sans: Aside from me or maybe Undyne? I don't think so

(Y/n): Welp, let's change this... See you later Sans

Sans: Hold on human...

You were about to walk away when he stops you

(Y/n): Yeah?

Chara: I think I know why he stopped you

Sans: Aren't you the one who forced him to continue?

(Y/n): Sans... Look... It's partially my fault too, I was the one who started it, she was the one who wanted to end it

Sans: Yeah, you regretted it, how about her?

Chara: Look, I'm sorry ok? Is that what you want? What would you do if you were trapped forever in a place where you can't move soon after you and your brother died? Would you cheer in happiness? I don't think so. I was pissed, all I wanted was to break free from this place, free everyone, but that crybaby didn't want to kill everyone in that God-forsaken village, and we both died

Sans: Look kiddo, I've seen Papyrus die a lot of times, I can't remember all of them, but what I do never changes. I try to stop the human, sometimes I do, sometimes I die, how do I know this? Well... Timelines

(Y/n): how many timelines exist?

Sans: Way too much, listen to me kids, both of you, it's not worth it, either jumping from a mountain to kill yourself or trying to kill everyone to get revenge, it's not worth the trouble, life ain't fair, so deal with it

(Y/n): You're way off character now

Sans: Look kiddo, just forget all this shit, I've killed you many times before, I can say, it's not worth the work, just relax and, dunno head to Grillby's

Sans then walks away and disappears

Chara: Ok...

(Y/n): He was really off character, what was that?

Chara: I don't know... Let's just continue please...
